Yujiro stared at Miho's figure from behind the thin black cloth that closed his eyes. His two legs faithfully followed from behind with both hands interlocked not in the least.
The two of them walked down the street past some residents who began to gossip about the terrible monsters that had ravaged their cattle.
Yujiro certainly heard the chatter clearly through his sharp ears. Monster, that one word he used to think about in his head lately.
But what is now the focus is Miho. The woman looked calm and tried not to listen to anything even though she saw for herself the sinister form of Yujiro at that time.
Miho is Naho who is always fearless, always protective, and always puts his trust in her. Miho never considered Yujiro a monster, not even giving a fearful look.
"Yujiro?" call Miho who is standing in front of the man while closely observing.
"Can you still see me?" continues asking.
Yujiro nodded small. Of course from the thin cloth he can still see even though it is not clear. Unshackled, Yujiro could walk as if his eyes were not closed.
"It seems like the place is still far away," Oceh Miho ruffled her waist in annoyance. Grandma Kawa said that the beautiful place in Noda Village was not far away, but in fact Miho still did not see the lake she was about to visit.
Suddenly Yujiro stood his back in front of Miho while patting his back as if beckoning.
"You mean to carry me on your back?" point Miho at yourself.
Despite the hesitation, Miho climbed onto Yujiro's back which could lift him up so easily. They continued their journey until they finally arrived at a place with a fairly wide stretch of lake decorated with beautiful sky views towards the afternoon.
Miho down. He helped open the cloth so that it would no longer close Yujiro's eyes which could now see the scene in front of him clearly.
"Isn't this like a fairy tale?" Miho turned her head while commenting on the warm smile on Yujiro. "I've always wanted to go to this beautiful place with someone."
Is this the feeling of human love?
Instead of being amazed by the beauty of the scenery in front of him, Yujiro was instead fixated with a beaming smile emanating on Miho's face which he thought was more beautiful than the others.
As long as Yujiro lived as an assortment of animals and plants, he never knew or understood beauty. Everything he saw was boring and had no meaning at all.
But when it comes to being human, a person's smile becomes meaningful to him. People smile when they feel happiness. And now, Yujiro felt confident that the girl beside him was feeling happy.
"Miho," called Yujiro making Miho look at him.
"What's wrong? You called me again."
Throughout Yujiro's life, Miho's name was something he always said more than when he called Naho.
To what extent is human love?
Yujiro questioned that in his heart. Many questions are buried and now come out on their own in the head.
"Yujiro? You're okay, right?" miho asked worriedly as the man just silently looked at her for quite a while.
Yujiro thought hard, looking for a way to express his love for Miho. But being human has not made Yujiro learn everything and he still has a lot to learn including how to talk.
"You've been calling me a lot lately" said Miho smiling broadly. His hand moved with Yujiro's hand.
"I'm glad I could enjoy all this with you. I want to keep doing this. There are many beautiful places we can go after this."
Suddenly Miho leads Yujiro to dance with her. The woman smiled so widely, moving her legs gracefully, guiding Yujiro's hand to play with him under the yellowing sky.
Love's. How do you express that feeling?
Yujiro was trying hard, struggling with his heart to reveal it to Miho.
Yujiro wants to tell Miho if he's happy to continue being around her. He wants to keep holding his hand. He wants to keep seeing it. He wants to keep protecting her. He wanted to continue seeing Miho happy. And he wants to live with it.
There was not a single word that Yujiro could say, so he could only hug the woman's body tightly as if he did not want to lose.
Miho slowly smiled. Despite not speaking, Miho understood Yujiro's feelings for her at this moment.
...****************...
Under the night sky, Yujiro continued to run into the forest. His breath was already breathless. He almost felt crazy holding back the strange feeling that made him want to change. He began to feel out of control with a peerless hungry stomach that made him want to pounce on some of the animals there.
Yujiro sat on the ground with a breath of gasp. He slapped his own face several times, trying to wake himself up not to change like that night so that the citizens were frightened.
"Ushiodes... Yujiro.." he said calling his own name. Yujiro's hand also did not stop slapping his face, scolding himself who began not to be able to intrude.
What the hell's going on?
Yujiro started to feel so hungry. It was like a wolf that wanted to immediately hunt prey to eat.
No matter how much he was held back, Yujiro still felt his body turn so strong. He looked at his two hands that were beginning to grow long nails to claw. Black feathers began to grow all over his body until his teeth began to fang.
Grunts are created. Yujiro took pains to get up as his wings began to appear and lay on his back. He groaned quite loudly and flew upwards just like that when his consciousness as Yujiro was now taken away.
Meanwhile, Miho realizes that Yujiro was not in his room that night. Seeing Grandma Kawa still sleeping, Miho settles out of the house to look for Yujiro. It is possible that the man changed again and hunted the livestock of the residents.
I have to find him soon!
"Oi!" call someone.
Miho turned towards the shadow that emerged from the darkness. The closer the shadow got, the clearer it saw.
Miho was astonished to see the arrival of the man. He moved slowly backwards with great care.
"You're with him, aren't you?" ask Jo.
Miho gulped nervously, realizing that Jo was the one who had been hunting Yujiro all along.
"I want to give you a gift" he said, taking something out of the sack he was carrying.
Miho gasped with both eyes glaring in horror seeing Sen's decapitated head roll near his feet.
"I don't want the old woman to have the same fate as him" said Jo then reached for the weapon he now pointed at Miho.
"Where is the monster now?" tanyakanya.
Miho gulped his hard-earned saliva with sweat beginning to pour along his temple.
"I-I don't know... Whatchu mean?"
"Don't pretend you don't know like that guy," Jo points at Sen's head. "I don't want to hurt you. So just tell me, where's that blue eye?"
