The sound of a hammer hitting a rock was earthy in a cave. Some people pushed the stone carts, some continued to carve the cave walls so that they went deeper and deeper, so they found some gold grains and made their way in the cave.
"Outside the rain is getting heavier. Looks like we have to wait here until it subsides" said one of the employees.
Toru stopped his activities that were hammering stones. "Miho must be waiting for me."
Because the girl will not eat if Toru has not returned home. He always waited even though his stomach was very rumbling because Miho felt that eating with someone was better than eating alone.
"GOOD GUYS, LOOK AT THIS!" shouted someone who made several officers there including Toru come to him.
"Isn't this a red higanbana flower?"
"You're right. Why is it here?"
"Just this time I saw higanbana flowers growing on the cave wall" Toru added.
"We pick it up. This flower is not higanbana. Just similar in that it was impossible to grow on a stone wall like this," said the other with his hands already stretched out to pluck the flower.
"Wait a minute!" prevent Toru from holding that hand. "If this is true red higanbana, it would be catastrophic for us."
"Do you believe in myths?" the man smiled with disdain. "Higanbana will grow on the ground, not on rocks like this."
"Ah, stop!" Suddenly another man plucked the flower even stepped on it just like that. "seen? it's just an ordinary flower. Go back to work. You guys make a fuss!"
They began to disperse to return to work, but Toru still stood looking at the flower with a bad feeling. He crouched down to pick up the flower to be examined more clearly. Anyone who sees even touching the red higanbana, then death will approach him.
"Why is this flower here?" murmured Toru wondered.
Suddenly the ground felt shaking. It was slow but then it got stronger.
Toru and the other servants in the cave began to panic. They ran to the end of the cave, but the shaking became bigger until the rocks from above began to fall on them.
"Toru!" call someone who makes Toru's legs stop running. He turned to his colleague who was hit by rocks on the foot.
Toru immediately lifted one by one the stone, helping his colleague to get out of there when the others had started to not exist.
"We need to hurry!" the word Toru cleared him to keep going as the shock got bigger.
The rocks started falling again. Toru tried to dodge with difficulty bringing his partner.
Brakk!
There was a loud sound from above it. Toru looked up, seeing a fairly large rock begin to fall. He quickly pushed his partner away until only he began to be hit by the rocks.
"TORU! THE TORU!" the man shouted hysterically. As the shock got bigger and he was afraid of being hit, he walked outside while enduring the pain in his legs.
On the other hand, Yujiro opened his two eyes with a breath of breath as if he was having a bad dream. He looked at the ceiling while thinking of something that made his heart uneasy.
"Are you feeling increasingly ill? You're so sweaty" Miho said as she wiped the sweat off Yujiro's forehead even helped clean his face.
Yujiro brushed off Miho's hand. He wakes up thinking about something.
Yujiro looked at Miho who looked quite anxious thinking about Toru. Suddenly his hand moved to pat the stomach three times which made Miho look at him in wonder.
"You have a stomachache?" ask Miho.
Yujiro patted her stomach again then Miho understood the meaning of the movement.
"Ah, are you hungry?" Miho woke up and hurried to go to the kitchen to get the dinner she had made.
"I'll feed you," he bargained as he scooped up the food on Yujiro who began to open his mouth to receive.
Miho smiled happily to see Yujiro as if he was starting to open up. He returns to feed Yujiro without being able to stop the smile.
"I was riding a horse. It was my first time riding a horse alone without my father. Thankfully, the horse was submissive and kind. His name is Kane," said Miho who was heard carefully by Yujiro.
"Ah, you know what? I saw a beautiful place too. I'll take you there later. There are also a lot of flowers there" Miho continued enthusiastically. "You want to, right?
...****************...
Miho really could not sleep until morning arrived because Toru did not go home. The rain had also subsided earlier this morning. With a worried look, Miho came out of the house to wait for her father's arrival.
But not Toru, but another man who came with a limping step and so dirty clothes. The man's face looked very sad holding back the crying.
"You're my dad's coworker, right?" miho's question made the man start to raise his face to return the gaze.
"Toru's... She's..." His tongue suddenly could not explain.
"Why my father?" tanya Miho was getting anxious.
"Every night the cave suddenly shook after we found a red higanbana flower. We. trying to get out of there. When I... Stricken with stones, Toru immediately helped me. Her... He pushed me so that the rocks hit his body. I'm sorry..." The man felt guilty.
Miho clenched her hands tightly. She tried to hold back the crying even though her eyes had started to sparkle and blush.
Now, Toru was buried in the ground. Miho cries as everyone starts to leave, except for Yujiro who is standing behind her.
This was the second time Yujiro had seen a human cry, other than his mother. He again thought, do humans only cry when they feel lost? Because Yujiro also felt the same way when he realized he had lost Naho.
In the middle of his mind, Yujiro remembered his conversation with Toru that night...
"Miho will nag me if I stay out at night for so long. Let's go in!" bring Toru.
Yujiro restrains Toru's arm from leaving. The man began to look over as Yujiro led Toru's hand which hid his cough-scarred blood to lift and was shown to him.
"Ah, this." Toru clenched his hands to hide the stain. "Don't say Miho. He'll be very worried if he finds out I'm sick."
Yujiro just looked at him without saying. But actually he was talking through the eyes, saying that Toru was stupid for having to hide it from Miho.
"You just calm down. I will not leave just because of this disease. But now I feel at ease if I leave Miho alone because you're there to take care of her. Whenever I was at work, I always thought about it and wanted to go home quickly. But now, I feel so calm. So if I go first, I just want your promise to keep looking after him. Miho has no one but you. I can't trust anyone else to stay with him but you. So then... Can you take care of my Miho, Yujiro?"
