Miho did not give up on wandering around looking for Yujiro. But now he needs a weapon. Miho couldn't have used his bare hands when there was such danger as Senzo's men or Keizo's coming at him.
Therefore, the first thing Miho thought about right now was getting a weapon from someone. He goes to Yosuke, Rin's lover who is a swordsman and other weapons.
"I'm glad to see you again" said Yosuke, who came to Miho.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your work" said Miho who made Yosuke shake his head.
"I'm not busy. What was? You didn't come here together... Rin?"
"Ah, I don't know how she is after that incident. I don't work for him anymore."
"Maybe he's being locked up by his father right now," Yosuke said as he muttered. "When angry, Mr. Senzo always keeps Rin locked up. When he found out that Rin was my lover, he got very angry and cut off Rin's freedom."
Too bad.
"I want to order a gun. Maybe a sword or something I can use. You can help me, right?" pinta Miho was half in doubt, afraid Yosuke could not.
"You can take mine," Yosuke replied. "I have a dagger you can carry. If you had a sword or a gun, you could have been arrested for being considered a threat. Such weapons can only be carried by certain people."
"Oh, okay. It's okay."
"Actually we are currently manufacturing another weapon on Mr. Senzo's orders. He ordered some weapons with silver material including for bullets."
"Silver?" Miho's forehead shriveled slightly thinking that.
"Yes. I heard there are monsters like horned werewolves that had attacked several villages. Maybe Mr. Senzo ordered a silver weapon to hunt the creature down. Do you know the myth? Werewolves would be weak even if they came into contact with silver."
Hearing the information makes Miho more anxious about the safety of Yujiro who is still hunted by Senzo. As a result, despite carrying only a dagger, Miho plans to quickly find Yujiro before Senzo.
When they came to the cave where they were sleeping at that time, Yujiro was still not there. In all the places they had been, Yujiro remained nowhere to be found.
"Where else should I look for him?" monologue Miho who has walked so far that now his tired body sits under a tree.
The sky began to darken, about to turn into night. Miho plans to return to walking, looking for a safe place so she can rest.
Srakk!
Miho was wary, taking out his dagger to be directed at the source of the menacing voice. The reason is now night, dark, relying only on the moonlight that illuminates some places not covered by trees.
A whitish black wolf walked up to him, crossed his legs, then sat down just in front of Miho. Usually, wolves will attack prey including humans. However Miho was surprised to see the wolf was just staring at him after casually sitting down.
"You're not gonna hurt me, are you?" What am I anyway?
Miho feels crazy for interacting with the carnivorous animal. He retreated slowly, trying not to make the wolf threatened with his movements.
Head turned. The animal got up and walked and stopped looking at Miho as if he wanted to be followed.
As a result, Miho walked up to her with an attitude of remaining vigilant. There were a lot of strange sounds in the middle of the forest. It could be that all wild animals are hunting at night.
"That's right!" Miho did not even have the lighting to get into the cave that he did not know what was inside.
The wolf suddenly sat glued its head to the ground with a glare that looked bleak and a small howling sound.
Miho did not understand what the animal was about to show. He could not harm himself by entering into a dark cave at night.
...****************...
Woosh!
Suddenly it sounded like a sigh from inside the cave. Miho looked at the wolf awake and then went in there until the moment he waited, not coming back again.
Out of curiosity, Miho went into it with great caution. It was possible that Yujiro was also inside. His feet slowly began to enter a very dark area.
Miho tried to walk straight until he saw a dim light from the turn of the cave he entered.
"Yujiro..." Is that really Yujiro?
His feet stepped without hesitation to approach the light source. Upon seeing, Miho found Yujiro's horn burning small. He was sleeping hugging himself with his wings. Yujiro is still in the form of that creature.
"Yujiro?" call Miho carefully until Yujiro's eyes open, revealing his blue light in the darkness.
A small roar from him. The wing hid the body even more, as if it did not accept the arrival of Miho who approached it.
But Miho did not give up. He reached out to touch Yujiro's head which was not covered in wings. His two blue eyes opened again, staring at Miho for a while. The wolf that was leading Miho was also seen sleeping casually next to him as if there was no threat whatsoever.
"Yujiro, it's me. L'm... Miho," he said trying to tell.
Yujiro's ears moved as if they were starting to open to listen. Miho's name wasn't anything foreign until Yujiro started to slightly open his wings.
Miho silently watched Yujiro lying weakly with hunting breath. There were some attack scars back then that made the feathers on his body have to mix with dried blood.
"Yujiro, I'm sorry. I've left you alone like this. You must be in pain right now," said Miho feeling so guilty.
Miho had already dared to get closer towards Yujiro. He stroked his face like a wolf in pain. But just then, the deer antler on Yujiro's head started to light up brightly as if it was deliberately lighting up for Miho there.
"I'm sorry, Yujiro. I won't leave you again" continued Miho hugging Yujiro's weak body.
At that moment, Yujiro moved his wings to cover the bodies of both of them. Yujiro seemed to want to let Miho continue to hug her. He did not feel that this human nearby was a threat.
Miho cried without making a sound after seeing Yujiro's miserable state. Hiding alone in a dark cave, without food, and his body was covered in scars that could not be treated at all.
On the other hand, Miho is happy if Yujiro can be found. He hugs Yujiro's head even more, providing calmness and warmth for him who still hasn't turned into a human.
Yujiro closed his blue eyes. He began to breathe out calmly, as if the pain that had been attacking his body had healed just because of Miho's embrace.
