Beautiful Monster

Beautiful Monster
Not Selfish

Both of Miho's eyes opened staring at the ceiling of a foreign room that he had never visited. He tried to get up, holding his shoulder that felt pain due to the shot.

"Yaho!" Hisashi quickly ran over to Miho to help her get up and sit comfortably leaning on the bed.

"Where am I?" miho asked looking around.

"I brought you to my house. Your wounds have also been treated," Hisashi said looking at him anxiously.

Miho was silent thinking of something. He recalled the time he was taken flying by Yujiro. Miho remembered how Yujiro looked at her back then. There is a sad highlight that makes Miho feel if something tries to Yujiro wants to reveal to her but can not.

"I have to find him" Miho said, but Hisashi stopped him.

"He's gone."

Miho. "What?"

"He's gone, Miho. He chose to leave so as not to harm you and the others" Hisashi explained.

"I don't want to leave Yujiro alone. She must be very scared right now." Remembering that time Yujiro was also frightened after he hunted down many livestock belonging to the residents of Noda Village.

"Miho, give him some time to be alone. He was currently the thing that people feared the most after making the village fall apart. If he comes back, he'll be everyone's hunt. They're gonna kill him."

Hisashi's right. It made Miho breathe out a small breath with a feeling that was still agitated at the thought of Yujiro's state.

Where is that guy now?

Miho was so curious about Yujiro's condition that she couldn't sleep to rest at all during her recovery.

Chief Miho continued to work thinking of various ways to restore Yujiro. Miho does not want the man to be branded a monster again by others because it looks from Yujiro who seems to say that it is not his will.

The days passed. At that moment, Miho decided something.

"If Yujiro can't come back, then I'll go after him. I'll accompany him," Miho's determination made Hisashi look at him unexpectedly.

"Miho, are you crazy?" Hisashi held both of Miho's arms gently. "Miho, if you think you only have him, you still have me. You can live with me. Don't you think that your decision to go after him is a waste for your life? It might even endanger you. Look at me, Miho. I'll take care of you as best I can, so stay here. With me."

Miho removed Hisashi's hand from her while smiling faintly. "Yujiro only has me. He had no one else to be next to him now. So I want to keep him company. I want to find Yujiro himself and keep him alive as a human being."

"Are you sure of this decision?" tanya Hisashi began to calm her heart after getting a rejection.

"I'm sure. Thank you for taking care of me all this time" she said, then walked to the exit.

"I'll take care of you" Hisashi told Miho.

"Whatever your decision feels to me, it won't change me to protect you, Miho."

"Thank you, Hisashi," said Miho, turning his head slightly and waltzing away from there.

Now, what's the first thing to do?

Miho was confused about where to find Yujiro first. Gaining the fact that Senzo is still alive, Miho is determined to find Yujiro first.

Miho walked in a robe to cover up his identity. He was afraid that Senzo's subordinates would see him and kidnap him again.

Finally, Miho decided to come to Noda Village first to meet Grandma Kawa. Miho wanted to know her state which at that time looked so shocked to see Jo carrying Sen's head on her.

"Grandmother Kawa," called Miho while lowering the hood of her robe.

Grandma Kawa turned the eye bead on Miho. "He came to me a few days ago."

Miho understands if "She" what Grandma Kawa means is Yujiro.

"He looked sad, lonely, scared and in pain. He seemed so guilty of his look. That night, he came to me as if he just wanted to apologize to me before leaving."

Miho could imagine that.

"While his form is terrible, I understand his weak heart. That's not his wish. He wants to live as a human being and I know that every time he looks at you. She became who she was when she was with you" continued Grandma Kawa.

"He was the victim of the blue higanbana curse Sen had always been looking for. All this time, he must have been trying hard to endure the misery in his life. Even if he dies, he will come back to life with a new misery. That's the blue higanbana curse."

...****************...

Senzo stared at one of the subordinates who entered his room. He bowed in salute before finally reporting something.

"According to the information we get, werewolves are very allergic to silver. If the creature came into contact with silver, then it would make it weak or even die."

Senzo smiled happily. "Then order all the silver weapons. We must find the monster immediately and make it a spectacle for man to show that it has been defeated."

"Good, Sir." The man said something again. "This will probably be an additional weapon for us. I heard there's a poisonous plant called Wolfsbane that can weaken werewolves. We can try to use it to weaken it later before we attack it with silver weapons."

"Smart!" puji Senzo laughed with satisfaction. "I can't wait to drag the body. We'll definitely have a lot to gain with his death."

Coinciding with that, his other subordinates permission to enter to report something to Senzo.

"What's up?" tanyakanya.

"Mr Keizo is conscious. But his body was still unable to move after being thrown hard enough by the monster."

Senzo decides to go see Keizo. He saw the man lying stiff with some bandages on his body.

"It's a miracle you're still alive, Keizo, "Senzo sneered that Keizo could only move his eyes to glance.

"I've been on a quest to find the creature. We have also found weapons to defeat him" continued Senzo who dragged a chair to sit next to the bed where Keizo lay.

"Bring her horns and wings to me. I'll make it a display in this house" Keizo grudged with grudge with painstaking talk.

"You're gonna have to pay me a lot of money if you want her body parts" Senzo said.

"I'll pay you whatever you can just as long as you can drag him in front of me!"

"All right." Senzo shrugged his shoulders no problem. "Ah, my men told me that your assassin's body was not found. Could it be that he was still alive then ran away in fear because of that monster?"

Keizo. "I don't need it anymore. He's just one of the pathetic dogs I picked up in the war. If I hadn't brought him, he'd have burned to death by then."

"You are still cruel" Senzo said, then rose again.

"Seeing you can still talk makes me relieved. Don't forget your pay later. I'll bring you what you want, Keizo."
