Beautiful Monster

Beautiful Monster
Sudden Circumstance

"Mama, let's get up."

Ignacia's cheerful voice rang out from behind the door. Waiting for her mother to leave the room in the hope that her mother will not make her late to come to the station. It's his day. They're going out of town for a very coveted Ignacia event.

"Mama," call Ignacia again.

That came out of the room a few seconds later instead of the owner of the room. It was a little boy who should have slept in the next room. From his face, like something was wrong.

"Rafka, what are you doing in mom and dad's room?" confused brother. Rafka or Arvin are not allowed to sleep with their parents.

"Night I accidentally spilled water in the kitchen. I left in the middle of the night because" Rafka seemed afraid to continue her sentence, "- I felt thirsty and- mom accidentally stepped on her as I went looking for a mop."

In a hurry Ignacia opened the door behind Rafka, seeing her mother groaning in pain on her legs. Beside the bed was a worried-looking father. Look at it anxiously. The two of them were both unaware of Ignacia's sudden existence without knocking.

Both of them were too many thoughts to even hear Ignacia's call from now on. A few seconds later, the mother realized the whereabouts of her daughter.

"I'm sorry mom, Ignacia. It seems like my mother can't leave. Your sister spilled water and she accidentally. But I'm sorry you couldn't get you out of town."

Ignacia disappointed. Really am.

He doesn't blame Rafka or his mother. Nor was it fate that put his family in this kind of situation. He blames himself. He should not have expected much to make the day pleasant.

"Dad didn't actually want to give permission, Ignacia. But unfortunately the money you spend will not return if this happens. I'll let you go, but keep your cell phone on to answer our calls" Ignacia's father interrupted. His look looked different.

"No problem. I-i don't know. I'll be going to the station in a minute. I'll buy breakfast outside."

Ignacia clasped her sling bag strap tightly before returning to the room to pick up her shoes. With a quick step towards the front door and disappeared without saying anything. He better leave before he gets disappointed.

"I should have known the end. Everything has never been the same as I wanted it to be" Ignacia murmured.

His excited steps have changed. He even deliberately pretended not to listen to his father's screams that would lead him to the station. Forgetit.

Ignacia takes the bus to the station. As soon as he arrived, his eyes stared pushyly and disappointed at the building where passengers were waiting for the train.

"I had imagined a great day. But it seems like the opportunity is too expensive for me."

"You brought two tickets, but why did you come alone?"

Ignacia was afraid, but tried to make a sound and answer. Rather than confusion. "I should have come with someone. But I still want to get these two places, please."

The woman standing in front of him stared strangely, but allowed Ignacia to get the two seats she had booked. He used the money to own those two places. This woman has no right to refuse.

There were two tickets, so Ignacia got two empty spots for her trip this time. He was lucky, yet people were looking at him strangely. Ignacia thought she had bought two places to sit alone. Ignacia wanted to shout to everyone in the carriage and say that she was not who they thought she was.

The trip was about an hour. Maybe a few minutes more.

The morning station is not crowded. This is already the weekend. Time for people to take a vacation. Is it because it's not the start of the holiday? Is it because the people are already in the desired place and leave their hometown deserted?

Good for Ignacia. He doesn't have to cram.

...*****...

The bookshop he was going to visit was a bit away from the station. You have to take a taxi or bus to get there. Just tell me what bookstore you're going to, and the driver knows where to get off. This city is known as a student city, so everyone knows where the bookstore is.

Ignacia took a taxi so as not to meet with many people. Looking around, people with bright faces enjoyed a not so hot day. Without him realizing if the water his own face is too obvious if it is not okay.

One thing Ignacia could see once she got to the front of the intended bookstore. The fans had already gathered, waiting for the show to start in about ten minutes. Ignacia strengthened her heart and stepped closer to the last queue. Nothing he knew, it felt so awkward.

"You're a fan too?" But only until the sound came.

There was a woman who looked to be the same age as Ignacia. The woman with short hair, black eyes, and her voice sounded happy. "You're also waiting for a book signing at this bookstore?" Ask this woman again to Ignacia who was still awkward.

Ignacia nodded in response.

"Well glad I got to meet my fellow Cream writer fans. It's the first time I've met someone who has the same taste."

This girl looked extremely radiant with a very happy aura. Ignacia felt comfortable all of a sudden. Someone wants to talk to him.

The girl continued to speak, "my name is Tata by the way."

...*****...

"What drove you yesterday was your sister, Athira? It's the first time I've seen your brother." A friend beside Athira whispered. Still with his focus on the small size canvas that was in front of him. "You guys look similar. But your brother seems to have a different aura."

"Of course, because we're siblings. My brother rarely goes out of the house. Read a novel more often than leave the room. What aura do you mean?" Confused Athira then stopped his activities. He's gonna change the color on the brush. Dipped in water until clean.

"Your brother has a blue aura. Huh how do I say it huh? Your brother looked sad even though I could see his little smile when he greeted me at home yesterday."

"My brother has a lot of inner emotions, maybe that's why. Oh hey I'll make another purple color. Where's my white?" Athira circulates a look looking for the sought-after white color. His friends are also looking for.

...*****...

The show went well. The novelist explains a little about his new book before starting his personal book signing. It was Ignacia's turn before the friend asked her to speak. It just so happened that his sequence number was close to the girl. So he's not too awkward.

"You're going straight home after this?" Friend asked. The girl who introduced herself as Tata earlier.

"No, I'm not from this town. So I'm going home by afternoon train. How's you?"

"I want to play around for a minute. How about a walk, Ignacia? I know a good place to eat but it's not so expensive. I read a lot about the good places in this area."

It seems that Tata is the type of person who does not hesitate to invite a new known friend to go with him. What he does can be dangerous if the friend he is referring to has bad intentions.

"certain. Let's go for a walk together." Ignacia has no bad intentions.

"Hello, nice to meet you. So who's this with?" Ask the novelist kindly.

"Ignac."

"A unique name" praised the female novelist before her with a bright smile. Similar to the smile that always comes from the main character of one of Ignacia's favorite books. I think he can see that smile for real now.

"Sister, I really like your novel. How do you do research for each book? I wonder how many pages of books you used to record all the research results. That's why it all feels so real."

Ignacia talked long while waiting for the book to be signed. I even met the eyes of the novelist.

"You're the first person to ask me about my research. Thank you for your attention to the little details. I'm not sure how many sheets I use. My mind was quite busy and I immediately wrote what I got." The author smiled again. Ignacia wants to fly.

"Thank you for coming. You can take his eyes there, "the writer's direction so kindly. No wonder their fans are friendly to others. The good nature of the idol must have decreased to his fans, right?

"Mama won't believe what I did today. I managed to talk to my idol, got the autograph, and the eye-sensing of his latest novel."

Ignacia sat back in place while waiting for Tata to finish getting her signature. He took a cell phone, photographed what he got to send to his mother. There was an intention to share it with Rajendra as well, but the man probably wouldn't have seen it because he was tired.

Her mother's response was certainly happy. Even he said his father could not believe if his first child could arrive safely and get what he wanted. But he said do not lock yourself in the room again after getting a sign all the way to this other city.

Yes-yes, Ignacia will start hanging out.

If wanted.

"Ignacia," Tata heard walking while showing the exact same object as Ignacia had obtained from the author. His face was red with pleasure.

"After this we're going for a walk together, right? Well today will definitely get better." Just met, but it feels familiar like an old friend.

...*****...

"You're not gonna call Ignacia like last night?"

Nesya happened to be sitting near Rajendra who was busy reading something on a sheet of paper. The glasses girl opened her own bottle and gulped it in half. It was uncomfortable for her throat after trying so hard to scream.

"Today Ignacia came to the book signing I told her. You didn't ask her anything?" Continue after drinking.

"Ask what?" Rajendra's response was brief. Put the paper he was carrying and opened his own bottle.

"See how her journey was and if she was okay getting to her destination. You know for yourself if this is the first time he's out of town alone. Even the first time she's out of the house alone."

Nesya closed the bottle, still sitting near the MPK chairman who swallowed the remaining water in the mouth slowly.

"He went with his mother."

"So Ignacia didn't tell you?" Rajendra looked confused. "Ignacia didn't say that her mother fell in the middle of the night and had trouble walking?"

...*****...

There are malls that have everything in this city. It's almost the same as the mall in Ignacia. Tata chose a crowded mall and has everything because it is also looking for something. Perhaps both of them could get the items each wanted in this place.

"What if I eat first? We need a lot of energy to go around this place, Ignacia."

The place they saw first was the one they chose. Mumpung is still quiet, not much in line, and can choose a good place. Strangeness suddenly appeared when the food of the two came. The place suddenly became crowded. Tata and Ignacia threw a glance and suddenly chuckled to themselves.

"It looks like we're bringing good luck," whispered Tata as slow as possible so that no one would listen.

But because of the crowd of visitors, both can not use the table for too long to be able to alternate with other visitors. Even the impression was like a hurry because the two of them got gazes from the people around them. There are stereotypes of visitors coming.

Passing through a bookstore in the mall, Ignacia is the first to see her favorite novelist's latest book on her glass. Tata, who saw it, turned to Ignacia, sending the same code.

"We have something more valuable than the book on display."

"Sign the author," compact Tata and Ignacia whispered.

Walk to the next floor. The place where many clothing stores, shoes, and other fashion items are located. Throughout the eye look seen the girls who are hunting for new clothes for year-end events. You know how people celebrate the end of the year.

Going close to the excavator, Tata's phone reads. "Ignacia, wait a minute."

He took the phone from inside the bag, taking a few steps away from Ignacia. Meanwhile the one given the distance could only nod obediently and really not try to listen.

Tata wasn't too long in his calls. Then he came back and saved his phone again. "From my girlfriend, she asked me if I was okay" Tata told me. He's a pretty open person to new people.

The two would switch to the next floor using an excavator, standing next to each other without saying anything.

"Ignacia, do you have a lover?" Tata asked.

"Have it" replied Ignacia briefly.

"Really? That guy must be lucky to have you. How long have you been dating?"

"Not too long." Ignacia refused to discuss her lover further. It's uncomfortable for anyone to know about Rajendra. Makes her remember that Rajendra hasn't sent her a message after last night's chat.

"Ignacia, I saw a nice snack. Is there still room in your stomach?" Tata's gaze seemed to give the code that Ignacia understood. The brown-eyed girl in front of Tata nodded, smiled slightly and followed with the beak as Tata pulled her hand into a snack stand.

"Ignacia," called Tata as she waited for her second snack to be taken, "I want to see you again one day. I don't know, I just want to get to know you better. You are an interesting person even if you don't talk much. I feel like I have an interest in you."

Ignacia smiled slightly. It was only this first time that he had gotten such words from someone else. "certain. Let's meet again someday, Tata. Thank you for helping me today."

Simultaneously, something from within the Ignacia bag felt trembling. Ignacia opened the bag and saw if the phone screen was on. A name appeared there.
