Chapter 20 - The Debate

Shiena was terrified to see the look in Willy's eyes that looked different than usual. Right, that man was being filled with anger. And as long as she knew him, Shiena had never seen Willy this angry towards her.

"Answer, Shiena!" Jerky Willy.

Shiena tiptoed in shock.

"What are you doing here?"

"I-i... I just wanted to... Look at Bu Esti..." With great difficulty Shiena finally spoke.

"Walking my mom? What's for?" Willy's sharp gaze still pointed at Shiena.

"To-please listen to me first, Mas. I don't mean bad. I just want to..."

"Are you doing this on purpose, Shiena?"

Shiena shakes. "It's not what you think, Mom."

"Then say it!"

Shiena could not run anymore. "I just want to help you make up with your family."

Willy smiled cynically. "helpful? Then why did you meet my mother?"

Shiena was nervous again.

"Java!" Willy again said loudly.

"Mas, what you've been thinking all this time is wrong. About Om Arya and Aunt Litha." Shiena was ready to accept the rampage from Willy.

"You should have listened to them about your mother first." Shiena ventured to say as she thought. There is no point in lying. That will make things more complicated later.

Willy shook his head strongly. "So you defended them? My mother was here because of them!" Shouted Willy.

"Gak, Mum. I'm not defending them. You should have heard their explanation!" Shiena was also provoked by emotions because it was difficult to talk to Willy.

Willy pacing back and forth is unclear. He thought about what Shiena said.

"Don't interfere in my family's affairs, Shiena!" His words are full of emphasis.

"I'm not interfering, Mom. I just want you to be better than Arya and Aunt Litha. They're not who you think they are. Do not let you regret because you have never heard their explanation. You only deduce from what you are involved in. Are we not repeating time because we want to improve things? This should apply to you and Arya. You have to make up with him!"

"Enough! Enough Shiena! You speak this way because you have the perfect family. You don't know what I'm feeling. Are you deliberately comparing how messed up my family is so different from your family full of love and affection. Harmonious family, exemplary family, perfect family. That right?!"

Shiena could no longer hold back her tears. Willy had talked to her hard enough.

"Never interfere in my affairs, Shiena. Because you'll never understand what I'm going through."

"Please don't do this, Mom. I just want to help you. Let's talk to Bik Sumi, so you know all the truth" Shiena said in between sobs.

Willy grinned. Faint memories of her having heard the name Bik Sumi when she was a child.

"Never discuss this with me again, Shiena or I will hate you!"

Willy set his hunting breath.

"If it ends up like this, we'd better not have to see each other again, Shiena. We shouldn't have to repeat time."

After saying that last sentence, Willy left Shiena who was still as unwilling as crying.

A few days passed since the contentious incident between Shiena and Willy. Shiena locked herself in her room more after going home from college.

(What have I really done?  Have I gone too far into Mas Willy's problem? What's wrong if I help. I'm doing this because I care about you, Mom. Loved you. I still love you so much. But apparently, you'll never understand that.).

"She, your face is pale, are you sure you want to go to college?" ask Wulan worriedly.

"Yes, Bun. I'm okay." Shiena continued to review her smile to signal that she was okay.

"Yes, you were escorted by Mang Pur. Later if there's nothing immediately call Mother."

"Yes, my dear mother..." Shiena hugged Wulan.

"I'm leaving first, Bun. Byeah mother..."

Lately, Shiena has been paying less attention to food intake for her body. Stacked college assignments coupled with Willy's problems, make Shiena unfocused in living the day.

Arriving at the college, Shiena was greeted with astonished gazes from her two best friends.

"Lo really don't mind?" Ask Friska.

"No, I'm fine" Shiena said.

Anila reflex placed the back of her hand on Shiena's forehead.

"Body you have a fever, She. Why not just give permission?"

"I'm really okay. Come on, get to class."

Two hours seemed to pass very slowly for Shiena. His head was back.

Shiena immediately walked out of the classroom feeling that her body could no longer control her. And sure enough, Shiena's body collapsed and fell in front of the class.

Anila and Friska scream hysterically as their best friend faints in front of the class.

"Hurry and bring it to the campus clinic!" Shouted Friska.

When she saw Willy passing by, Friska immediately called Willy.

"Sister, please brother! Shiena fainted!"

"Huh?! Fainted?" Willy was quite shocked and approached Anila who was still together with Shiena.

Willy swiftly lifted the body of Shiena ala bridal and took her to the campus clinic. Willy and Shiena's two loyal companions wait in front of the clinic.

But the two friends looked at each other and had other plans. They plan to leave Shiena with Willy alone.

"Umm, brother. Sorry earlier. Anila and I have business. Can we take Shiena with sister?" Friska's request was met by Willy's sharp gaze.

"Please, Brother. We have to get home soon." Anila chimed in.

"Hahah!" Willy took a deep breath.

"Yes, you can go home. Let Shiena be with me!"

Willy's decision made Anila and Friska cheer happily in heart. Now Willy is alone waiting for Shiena to wake up.

Clinic doctor talks to Willy. "His blood pressure is very low. And it seems like he's got too much thought and stress. Maybe you can make sure that Shiena is not late to eat and maintain her mental state."

Willy could only nod. Willy is allowed to visit Shiena.

He looked at the girl who was still closed.

"Well, are you involved in my family business? I'm yeah I'm, I'm gonna keep this up anytime." Willy monologues.

Shortly after, Shiena began to squirm. His eyes blinked and adjusted the incoming light. Shiena realized that she was at the campus clinic.

"You're finally awake too. Next time look at yourself before thinking about others!"

Willy's faint voice irritated Shiena and immediately positioned herself sitting down. He wants to get out of there immediately.

"You're not sincere to nolongin, next time don't help me even though I almost died!" Shiena gawked away past Willy's body.

However, just a few steps, Shiena's body was shaken and fortunately Willy was quick to catch.

"Don't eat it! I know it still hurts, it's stubborn!" Said Willy by holding Shiena's body.

"Deliver! I can do it myself! If you're here to debate, I'm not interested!" Shiena stepped back.

But again Willy did not have the heart to see Shiena who was walking limped. He immediately raised Shiena's body as before.

"Eh? What's this? Get me down!" Shiena Ronta.

"No! Don't be stubborn! If something happens to you, I will regret it for a lifetime!"

Willy's words made Shiena speechless. Reflexes of his hand against Willy's neck and shoulders so as not to fall. From a short distance away Shiena noticed Willy's face looking as flat as ever.

"Not to be seen, you'll fall in love."

Shiena rounded her eyes. Without having to be told, Shiena had indeed fallen in love with Willy.
