Before Divorce
Chapter 31 - The Weird Dream?

"Mom, you can enter the room!" The voice of a young woman broke Litha's daydream.

"Martha, is your sister awake?" Ask Litha enthusiastically.

Martha smiled. "Yes, Ma. Willy's sister is awake. Mama can meet him."

Litha who was sitting on the front bench of Willy's inpatient room immediately rushed in. Accompanied by Martha, Litha cried to see the child she had woke up from her coma.

"Willy..." Litha's call made Willy turn his head.

"Aunty..."

"Don't ask sister Willy to talk too much first! Brother Willy needs a break!" Martha.

Litha nodded.

"Then I stay first. Brother, rest first!" Martha stroked Willy's arm.

Willy nodded weakly. Willy stared at the passing of his sister who was in uniform as a hospital nurse Hope Sehat.

Litha was sitting on a chair near Willy's gurney. "How are you doing, son?"

Willy himself was still confused by what had happened to him. He woke up from his long dream in the hospital. With a body condition that has many injuries.

"That's fine, Auntie. The doctor said I had an accident, is that true Auntie?"

Litha sighed for a moment. "Yes, Son. Don't you remember what happened that night?"

Willy tried to remember everything that happened to him. But nothing he remembers about the accident that happened to him. He instead remembered his friendship with Shiena who repeated the time.

Suddenly Willy exclaimed...

"Aunty, what year is this?"

Litha frowned. "You're still in 2023, son. You've been in a coma for six months."

"Well?!" Willy's stunned.

"Yes, don't think about anything. Slowly remembering everything. Not that Martha said you should rest. Auntie's gonna be out for a minute to buy food." Litha moved from her seat.

"Aunty..."

Litha turned back. "Is there anything you need? You want a drink or..."

"Thank you..."

Litha smiled. "Together, Son. Now rest! If you need anything, press a button near your safe. Your sister's coming soon!"

Willy smiled. He stared at Litha's back coming out of his inpatient room.

(How did all this happen? I went back to the year I was supposed to be. Was I only dreaming all this time? I was in a coma for six months and.).

Willy held onto his throbbing head.

(Then what about Shiena? Did he have the same strange dream as me? Or is it just me? It all feels so real)

Willy closed his eyes remembering everything that had happened in his dream.

(It's weird! I don't even remember the accident at all. Why do I remember that dream so clearly? Is this a sign?)

"Hayoo, what are you thinking?" Martha's words made Willy turn his head and look at her confusedly.

Martha checked Willy's blood pressure.

"Martha, what happened to me? Why don't I remember the accident?"

Martha looked at her brother. "Maybe it's because you want to forget that." Martha smiled.

"Tha, big brother seriously!" Willy was upset with his sister.

"I'm serious! Trauma in an accident can be imprinted in a person's memory, but there are times when someone also wants to forget the traumatic event. My brother was lucky not to remember the accident. Brother's car just rattled up and badly damaged."

"Huh?! Really?"

Martha nodded. "Oh yes, after this there may be some limbs that can not be scratched. Brother's been lying here for six months. So, surely the muscles of the sister need to be melmesin first. But brother calm down, we do it slowly! If you need the help of a therapist, you have a good physiotherapist!"

Willy just silently heard the babbling of the sister who to him sounded was giving him a fairy tale.

"Sister's blood pressure is normal. Now rest first and don't think of the heavy."

Martha laughs. "Yes, right. But I mean you can start trying to move your limbs, but it has to be slow. Can't be hard straight. Yea?"

After giving a lot of advice to her sister, Martha came out of Willy's hospital room.

(I thought I would be alone after parting ways with Shiena. Turns out I still have Aunt Litha and Martha)

Willy's tears slowly flowed. He remembered how he had treated Litha. He did not even come to the funeral of his father.

(Papa, I'm sorry... If all I had wasn't a dream, I'd be so happy because we could still be together. Turns out... Regrets come too late. And all that is cracked will never return to the way it was.).

...***...

In the nurse's room, Martha who was writing her sister's examination results in the patient's book was suddenly startled by the arrival of someone.

"Tha, there's something else!" Said Dinda, a friend of Martha's nurse.

"Who?"

"He said his name was Prayitno Sasongko. You don't have anything to do with that om-om?"

"Damn lo! Where's there!" Martha hit Dinda's arm.

"Year school there. He said there was something important he wanted to say."

"Ck, yes. Please continue to write a description of my brother's condition yes!"

Martha immediately met Prayitno who was sitting waiting on a hospital bench.

"Sorry, Om. What's the need?" Martha said.

Prayitno immediately got up from his seat and greeted Martha.

"You're Martha, right? Willy's sister?" Ask Yitno.

"Yes, Om. Om this... Shiena's sister's father? What's the need to find me?"

Yitno nodded. "I'm sorry if my arrival interferes with your work."

"Absolutely not, Om." Martha reviewed her smile and asked Prayitno to sit back down. He could not bear to see the middle-aged man talking while standing up.

"Is Son Willy in this hospital?"

Martha nodded. "Do you know where my brother is here?"

"Information of the court."

"Oh that..." Martha finds out that her sister and Shiena are getting a divorce after Willy gets into an accident. Martha found out from Alex who visited Willy many times to the hospital while he was still in a coma.

Actually Martha was a bit disappointed with the Shiena family who never came to visit Willy at all. Even Shiena herself had never come to see her brother's condition.

"I'm sorry that we didn't come see Nak Willy all this time."

Martha smiled wryly. "Yes, Om. It'sit's okay. I know Shiena must be busy with her work."

"Please don't get me wrong. Shien... Our daughter... I also had the same experience with Willy. Shiena had an accident, and lay in a coma for six months."

"Huh?! Wh-what?!" Martha shut her mouth. During this time he even closed the info about the Shiena family because he was already disappointed with his brother-in-law. Indeed, the one who filed for divorce was her brother, but Martha thought that the cause of the separation was Shiena.

"Can I see Nak Willy?"

Prayitno's question made Martha pause for a moment.

"By, Om. But, Willy's brother's condition just came out of his coma. So don't talk to her too much."

Yitno nodded. Yitno follows Martha to Willy's hospital room. Yitno thought this was a rebuke from the Creator to the two of them. They both had an accident when they decided to separate.

"Dad...?"

Willy glazed over as he looked at the figure of twilight he had made sad and disappointed.

Yitno approached Willy's gurney. The man's cry broke while hugging Yitno.

"I'm sorry Willy, Dad..."

Or maybe this is a sign, if the Universe wants them to fix things...
