Chapter 23 - The Time Machine

The two companions Shiena looked at him sharply and questioningly. Shiena knew for sure they were already disappointed by Shiena's decision to still reject Willy's feelings.

Yes, last night at the starry evidence, Willy again invites Shiena to start their relationship. Yet again Shiena refused, wanting to focus on her studies. Shiena also asks Willy to focus on his family first.

The father-son relationship had just improved, Shiena wanted Willy to be close to Arya and Litha so that the hatred she had been exposed to slowly disappeared.

What Shiena did was not wrong. They still have plenty of time to love. A long courtship period does not guarantee that the marriage relationship will also last long. Shiena just wanted to convince her heart. And the moment it arrived, Shiena would accept Willy with an open heart.

"Why did you turn Willy's sister off again, She?" Ask Friska.

"Gue is clear. For now, I want to focus on my goals. And he also has to focus on his goals."

Anila and Friska were speechless.

"What story?" Friska was curious.

"Do you believe in time machines?"

"Time machine?" Anila and Friska looked at each other.

"Yes, Willy and I came from the future. I'm coming from 2023. Me and him... The future life is a married couple. But, we're getting a divorce."

Friska gawks at hearing Shiena's story.

Shiena lowered her face. "But we both want to improve ourselves. We both want that in our marriage there is no such thing as divorce."

"So, you're the same brother Willy came from the future?" Friska ventured to ask back for more clarity.

Shiena nodded steadily. "Yes, we come from the future."

Friska looks enthusiastic. "Trus you must know what happened to me and Anila. Do you know who my soul mate is?"

Shiena shakes. "Gue doesn't know. I think my memory was erased because I wanted to change the course of my life. So many things I don't want. Including about the soul mate of both of you."

Friska bowed. He wanted to know what was going on in the future. While Anila was silent and did not say much after hearing Shiena's story.

"Gue wonder why you and sister Willy want a divorce? Don't you think he's known you for a long time, right?" Ask Friska curiously.

"Well, yeah, She. If you can time travel like you. But your time doesn't care at all about us. We're best friends, She."

Shiena looked at Friska. "Gue just wanted some of it. I remember that you two were married, but I forgot who it was.

"Okay, She. If you want something, tell me yes, heheh."

Shiena laughed, and so did Friska. Unlike Anila who remained silent.

After their laughter subsided, Shiena glanced at her phone and there was one call from Shandy. Shiena answered him briefly and then decided to say goodbye to the two friends.

"I'm sorry, I have to go. Bang Shandy was waiting outside. Goodbye!"

Shiena waved to her two best friends. After the departure of Shiena lived Anila and Friska who were still sitting in the campus cafeteria.

Friska looked at Anila who had been silent since.

"Nil, what do you think about Shiena's story. Do you believe he and Willy come from the future? If there really is a kayak time machine that Shiena says, will you change your destiny?"

Friska's question was not at all discussed by Anila. He chose to leave.

"Sorry, Fris. I have to go too. I'm going first!" Anila got up from her seat and left the cafeteria.

"Well, how the hell? Why are they leaving? Who am I supposed to talk to, try it?" Friska who had no other choice finally left the canteen.

Arriving at her boarding house, Anila went into the room and fell silent. What Shiena said was still ringing in her memory.

If it was true that the time machine existed, then Anila also experienced the same thing as Shiena and Willy.
