Chapter 37 - Misunderstanding

Willy's condition is severe enough to make him have to be extra patient to be able to return to his original condition. Martha has enrolled Willy to attend a physiotherapy class owned by a therapist whose name is quite well known in this country.

"Sister, today is your schedule to meet a therapist. Is it okay if I live alone? Later accompanied by another sister."

Willy smiled. "Yes, I can do it myself. You don't think of me as a child, Tha. Do you have any outside duties?"

"Yes, brother. I have to escort the patient to be referred to a hospital out of town. Yes already, just a moment later Ita Brother came to pick up brother to the therapy room. I'll go first!"

"Be careful, Deck!"

"Yes, thank you, brother."

Willy is again waiting for another nurse who will accompany him to therapy today. Willy stared at his two feet which until now was still difficult to move.

"How are you, She? Hope you're all right with Alex."

Willy's memories fly to the time where Yitno comes to him and asks Willy to remove Shiena. That day, it turns out Yitno not only wants to visit Willy. But also continuing the intent that Willy had once done.

"Continue the parting plan you want. Let Shiena be happy with others" Yitno said.

"What's? Why would you say that? I'm sure all this has a reason. Why we got into an accident and the cancellation of the divorce happened. That means the universe still wants us together, Dad. Please don't separate me from Shiena, "please Willy with teary eyes.

"It's too late, Willy. Son Alex every day comes with bringing love to Shiena. I'm sure that the road you took yesterday is the best for both of you."

"No! That's not true, Dad! That time... At that time I was just shaken. I know I was wrong. So let me fix everything. Please, Dad!"

Yitno sighed and shook her head. "Dad will ask Shiena. Maybe you need to talk if your condition has improved together."

Willy closed his eyes remembering what his father-in-law had said back then. It felt so heartbreaking. Willy was guilty of making a decision without thinking. But now he regrets. There was no residual love he could maintain with Shiena. Even in a dream, Willy was happy to change his destiny.

"Sir Willy!" the nurse's call made Willy wake up from his daydream.

"Eh, yes, sister. Is it time for therapy?"

The nurse named Ita nodded. "Really, Sir. Let me help you get into a wheelchair."

The wheelchair walked to the therapy room. When he arrived in front of the white room, Willy felt familiar with someone standing in front of him.

"Good morning, Willy. How are you?" ask a beautiful woman who wears a white snelli suit attached to her body.

"the diamonds? You're..." Willy did not continue because he knew what was going on.

"Really! I'm your therapist here. Let's nurse, bring the patient in!"

Renata was an old friend of Willy's when he was in high school. They still know each other because once a year High School alumni hold a reunion to intertwine brotherhood between alumni.

"Where are you?" Before starting therapy, Renata checked Willy's blood pressure while taking him for a light chat.

"It's better. I don't know if you..."

Renata looked at Willy. "You had an accident after our school reunion. How could I possibly go back out of town? I was also asked by friends to help you. Friends worry about you too."

Willy gave a thin smile. "Sorry to trouble you."

Willy nodded steadily. "I want to be able to walk back and see Shiena immediately."

The reason Willy made Renata smile wryly. Willy got up from his wheelchair assisted by sister Ita and one male nurse.

"Good! Slowly!" said Renata.

Willy held on to both sides of the iron and began to move both of his legs slowly. But when he wanted to step again, Willy's legs suddenly cramped and made him squash.

Lucky Renata immediately catches Willy's body. This scene makes people who see so misunderstand and think if they are hugging.

This also made Shiena disappointed in Willy for re-injuring her heart. Shiena turned around and immediately left from there.

Shiena held back the tears that wanted to escape her eyes. But Shiena could not cry because Yitno was already in front of her.

"Son, why are you back? Does Willy not want to see you?"

Shiena shakes. "What a hell, Dad. Suddenly I'm not feeling well. I'm going home!" Shiena kept smiling despite the pain in her heart.

"Who is that woman? Is he Willy's doctor? But why should I use all hugs? Is that how easy it is for you to eat me, Mas?" Shiena cried inwardly.

Yitno who saw the strange gurgle on her daughter just kept quiet and noticed. For a while he wanted to let Shiena in his daydream.

"You better not push yourself, Will. Your legs have not fully recovered. You have to be patient!" Renata advised Willy, who is now back in a wheelchair.

"Sorry, Re. I can't wait to be able to walk again."

"But it all takes time, Will. Now you go back to the room first! Rest first! Let's try again tomorrow. How's it?"

Willy agreed with Renata's proposal. They went back to Willy's hospital room. Renata briefly visits Willy's room before he must return to therapy with his patients.

On the other hand, Shiena headed straight to her room after arriving home. Surely Wulan was wondering what happened to Shiena.

"Dad, why did you come home so soon? Willy and Shiena what are you talking about?"

Yitno only spread her shoulders. "Dad don't know, Bun. It seems they only met for a moment. Or maybe I haven't even met."

"Eh? How can you, Dad? Didn't you come with Shiena when you saw Willy?"

"No need, Bun. That's their business. I don't have the right to interfere."

Wulan stared at her daughter's closed room. "But if until Willy hurts Shiena again, Mother won't stay silent, Dad. Shiena is our precious daughter. How dare he hurt my daughter!"

Yitno hugged his wife's shoulder. "Patience, Bun. We leave it to them. I'm sure Shiena can make a wise decision."

Inside her room, Shiena cried in silence while immersing her face into a pillow. It was so exciting to see Willy with someone else.

"Is there no hope for us to get back together, Mom? Have you opened your heart to others?"

Shiena hugged the bolster tightly. Exhausted from crying, Shiena fell asleep.
