Chapter 21 - Setting the Heart

Luckily the campus atmosphere was quiet. So not many people saw the friendly scene between Shiena and Willy. Although not a true friendly scene, hehehe.

Arriving at the campus parking lot, Willy opened the car door and sat Shiena on the driver's side bench.

"You got a car? Whose car is this?" Shiena asked.

But the one asked did not give an answer. Willy walked around and sat in the driver's section. He started the car and drove it off campus.

Shiena clucked bitterly as Willy did not answer her question at all. Understood if Shiena started to get upset, Willy finally opened his voice.

"This is an office car. I was meeting a client. Suddenly I got a call from college. That's why I came here straight away. Just now that my business was done, Friska called me she said you passed out. The next thing you can guess yourself. Are you satisfied with my explanation?"

Shiena glanced at a glance then turned her face again.

(Why does he keep talking formally to me? Does he still think of me as a stranger?)

"Thank you for helping me."

"Don't hesitate, I did it on humanitarian grounds. Aren't we friends?"

(Friends? I forgot that we decided to be friends. But... Why does it feel like he's not willing to say we're friends?)

There was no more conversation between them. Until the car reached Shiena's house.

Shiena thanked him again and got out of the car. It was unexpected that Willy got out of the car.

"Shyen!" Wulan comes over to Shiena because she gets a call from Anila if Shiena collapses.

"Are you okay, son?" Wulan checked Shiena's condition.

Shiena shakes. "I'm better, Bun."

"Thank you so much, Willy." Wulan looked down respectfully in front of Willy.

"Together, Mom. Then excuse me first."

Shiena and Wulan let go of Willy. Shiena immediately headed to her room to rest.

In the evening, Willy was pensive on the porch of his boarding house while strumming his favorite guitar. This time, there was no sad song that he sang. Only the taste song makes it flowery.

While picking up a love melody, Willy is shocked by Alex's arrival at his boarding house.

"Alex?" Willy was quite surprised by Alex's arrival.

"Hi, Will. Sorry I'm disturbing." Alex sits on the bench next to Willy.

"No. Where have you been all this time? Say it's like a ghost."

Alex smiled wryly. "Gue's here to say goodbye, Will."

"Satan? Mean lo?"

Alex told me why he disappeared this time.

"Gue wants to move to the city of P. Well, look for a new atmosphere maybe."

Willy fell silent. It feels like he is also sad because of the loss of a friend who has accompanied him.

"Seriously?" Willy asked still in disbelief.

"Yes. I seriously. Oh yeah, how's your relationship with Shiena? Is there progress?" Alex deliberately switched the conversation.

Willy put his shoulder out. "We're going to be friends."

"Friends? Seriously?" Alex surprised.

"Yes, I offered Shiena to be a friend. Well, maybe for now, this is for the best."

Alex patted Willy's shoulder. "Gue believes you're a match. Anyone can't miss you. You just need to be patient. And even if you're not a match for Shiena, I'm not taking her away from you."

"Thanks yes, Lex. Oh yeah, you're not saying goodbye to Shiena?"

Alex smiled back. "So, I'm sure he's still mad at me."

"Don't say no if you haven't tried. Try to come to his house. I'm sure he'll want to meet you."

Armed with the spirit of Willy, Alex finally ventured to meet Shiena at his home. Time shows at eight o'clock. It wasn't too late to see you, Alex thought.

Alex pressed the bell and appeared Bik Imah who greeted him.

"Shiena's got a bik?"

"She, Den. Let's get in!"

Shiena comes out of her room and intends to see Alex. But his steps stopped because he met Shandy.

"Where are you going?"

"Oh, there's Alex in front."

"She, if she's messing with you again, how about it?"

Shandy appears hesitant to let Shiena out.

Shiena meets Alex on the front porch of the house.

"Sister Alex? How come you're not in?"

"Eh, Shiena. Yeah, it's okay. We'll talk here."

Shiena nodded in understanding. "What's wrong, brother? Come gini nights."

Alex scratched his head. "Ah, I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I'm just here to say goodbye to you."

Alex nodded. After that, Alex resigned. The flight's at ten tonight. So Alex rushed to the airport after Shiena's house.

Shiena's days returned as usual. No Alex and no Willy either. Although still harboring their own feelings, but neither Shiena nor Willy invited to communicate first.

Shiena walked behind Willy. As soon as the door of the house opened, a warm welcome full of smiles greeted them.

"Willy? A shiena? Come inside!"

(So, did Mas Willy take me to his parents' house? I still can't believe this.).
