Chapter 52 - Meeting Again

That morning at breakfast, Davin asks Devina for permission to come home late.

"Today there's a celebration of my rapture. To refuse is not good. Because it's the friends who make the show." Davin spoke carefully. He was afraid that Devina would be angry and offended by his words.

"Oh, yeah. You just go. It's just a regular dinner, right?" This time Devina answered calmly.

"Yes, just dinner."

"If you want, you come along. Take the kids too."

Over the past two years, Wilona has been studying S2 abroad. Wilona wanted to be a lecturer at her alma mater first.

Afternoon. Wilona asked permission to go with her friends.

"Today my friends have a welcoming party for me. So, it's not good not to come." Wilona persuaded both of her parents.

"Yes? Please!" Wilona cupped both her hands.

Shiena and Willy looked at each other. "Haaah, okay. What else do you want? We still have plenty of time to be together."

Willy followed his wife's words. "When the women have spoken, the men can only shut up and listen."

"Well, why did you bring me here?" ask Davin hesitatingly. Because he is not sure if the budget money will be enough food.

Romi shakes his best friend's shoulder. "Just calm down, man. Our sponsor tonight is Mr. Toni's boss!"

Davin smiled at Mr. Toni who had been a benevolent sponsor of the fund tonight. Davin and friends head for the pre-ordered table.

Before long a servant came to their table and recorded the order of each person.

"Where else are we going?" ask Sasha.

"How about we karaokean after eating" said Mitha.

"Well, that's a great idea!" Romi the third woman also responded.

Toni laughed instead. "If you want to karaoke then go ahead. I just go home with Davin" said Mr. Toni.

Davin nodded his head. He had promised Devina that tonight there was only a meal.

"Sorry, I can't follow. I promised Devina I wouldn't go anywhere after eating."

"Yeah, Brother Davin is not following, not exciting dong!" sasha was disappointed.

"What's wrong, you guys!" Davin covered his smile.

Laughter filled the table owned by Davin and Wilona who were both at the restaurant. After the dinner was over, one by one they left the restaurant and headed to the karaoke place that had been agreed Sasha and Mitha.

Davin who was still in the toilet was finally abandoned by his friends. He came out after completing his wish.

In a hurry, Davin instead collides with someone coming out of the ladies' room.

"Aw!" screech the woman.

"Eh? Sorry-sorry! I did not intentionally!"

For a few seconds there was eye contact between Davin and the woman.

"Sister Davin?" The woman recognized Davin.

"Willon?" Davin was quite surprised because the woman was a person he knew.

"I didn't think you could meet Mr. Davin here" Wilona said shyly.

Davin scratched his nape. "Ah, yes. I didn't expect to see you here either. Ye... When back? I heard you continued your studies abroad."

"I just got back today. I'm here because my friends have a show for me."

"Ooh, if that's it... I'm first yeah!" Davin chose to withdraw first.

"Wait, brother Davin!"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Can I get your sister's phone number? Who knows I .. need sister's help."

Wilona's request makes Davin doubtful. Davin agrees to exchange mobile numbers with Wilona.
