Chapter 33 - He's Back?

Shiena's therapy went well. The progress Shiena made was also good. Both of his legs began to move well even though they were still slow. Wulan and Prayitno are very happy with the condition of his daughter who is recovering.

Shiena did this because she wanted to immediately accompany Anila who had no relatives in this city. Shiena thought that her presence would make Anila quickly recover and wake up from her coma.

While training her leg muscles, Shiena was suddenly startled by the presence of someone she knew. His eyes were puffed up looking at the figure of this handsome man.

"Sister Alex?" shiena Mumbled.

"Hi, She. Thank goodness your condition has improved." Alex smiled at Shiena.

Shiena was confused and looked at Wulan.

"You must be surprised to see Alex? Ever since you found out you were in an accident, Alex's son always comes to see you, She."

Shiena looked at Alex.

(Why is this? Why is Alex back? Nah! As I recall Alex's brother was just someone I admired. And he wasn't in my old life. If what happened yesterday... It was a dream when I was in a coma. Right?)

"She, how come you're daydreaming? In hello dong Nak Alex her. She always asks mom about your condition as long as she's gone."

"Eh, yes Brother. Hello, sis. How are you?" shiena asked awkwardly. It feels really strange to meet Alex in this kind of situation.

"I'm good. How are you yourself? I'm glad you've had a change. Let me take you back to the room."

Alex asks Wulan for permission to push Shiena's wheelchair. Shiena immediately walked limped towards the wheelchair. But his feet were still stiff even made him stagger. Lucky Alex immediately caught Shiena's body.

"Be careful, She." Alex is holding Shiena ala bridal.

"Eh, brother! Don't carry me! I'm..."

"Already, She. Don't refuse. You are still weak. Your legs are not fully recovered." Alex sits Shiena in a wheelchair, then pushes the wheelchair back into Shiena's nursery.

Shiena was quite awkward interacting with Alex. Remembering their not-so-close past. Yes, even though Shiena had time to fans with Alex, but after there was Willy Shiena's world seemed distracted to Willy.

(Where is Willy's condition? Didn't you say yesterday about Willy's mas? Did you get any info?)

"It's here!" Because Shiena daydreams instead of focusing.

"Thank you, Alex. So, you're back from work out of town?" ask Wulan.

Alex seemed to be scratching his neck.

"What's wrong with her?" inner Shiena.

"Actually... I'm back because I heard the news that Shiena's dead."

Wulan seemed to be commenting on her smile. Shiena was stunned to hear Alex's confession.

"What's with our relationship right now? As I recall... Alex and I are not close at all. Alex's brother is Mas Willy's office mate. And I know that's all it is." Inner Shiena continued to surmise.

"She, you better take a break. I'll go back to the office first. I'll be back tonight."

Shiena nodded slowly. Although it feels strange, Shiena still appreciates Alex's kindness.

After Alex died, Shiena immediately scouted her mother with various questions.

"Mother, what does this mean? Alex, do you know that I was in an accident?"

"You're! A good man came and was asked that. Mother herself does not know where Nak Alex knows about your accident. But clearly, he comes every day to make sure of your condition."

"Huh?! What's for?"

Wulan raised her shoulders. "Alex just said that you knew each other in college. She knows Anila too."

Shiena was still confused. Wulan gently rubbed Shiena's arm.

"Udah, don't think. He told me that he was in Willy's office. He said he was surprised that Willy wanted to..." Wulan was not happy to continue her sentence.

"Dissolve me? What do you mean by mother?" Shiena smiled wryly.

Wulan rubbed Shiena's back gently. "Son Alex tells me he's angry because Willy wants to part with you. It seems... Alex wants to have the same feelings as you, She."

"Mother! What the hell is that?! Right now my status is still Willy's wife, right? So, you and your mom shouldn't let another guy come near me! What would people say if I knew I was being looked at by another man and not my husband?"

Wulan shook her head slowly. "You should be thankful that someone cares about you. Alex is really waiting for you here, She. Anyway, Willy doesn't have his nose. Your father has visited him, but why on his part is there no one to look at you?" Wulan looked annoyed.

Shiena did not answer anymore. It's better to be quiet than to have to argue with the bunch because of Willy.

The next day, as Wulan had said, if Alex came every day to see Shiena, it was true that Alex had indeed come to see Shiena.

This time Shiena had just finished therapy for her legs. Shiena was lucky if her condition was no worse than Anila's.

"Sister, can you take me to Anila's nursery?" shiena asked Alex.

"alright. Let's try! Looks like you're going through a period of rapid healing, She."

Alex lets Shiena walk on both feet. Shiena chuckled softly as she managed to take a step though slowly.

"I can, Brother!"

Alex laughed too. "Yes, you're great, She."

Despite her teasing, Shiena finally arrived at Anila's nursery. Shiena stared softly at the face of the friend who was still closed.

"Wake, Nila. I'm right here! Don't fear!" whispered Shiena quietly in Anila's ear.

Shiena was sure that what she said must have been heard by Anila through her subconscious. The proof is that Shiena felt a dream that seemed real with Anila and Willy.

As Shiena was still encouraging Anila to get up, Shiena turned her head as the room door was knocked and opened from the outside.

"Good day, sorry Miss. This is the new doctor who will handle the patient on behalf of Anila."

The nurse's words made Shiena turn towards the male doctor who was standing in front of her.

"This is Dr. Shandy. He's the one who's gonna replace doctor Ali who took care of Miss Anila yesterday." The nurse explained.

Shiena was still trembling in her place by looking at the male physician whose name was similar to her late brother. But it turns out that not only the name is similar, but the appearance of the doctor is also almost similar to Shandy, Shiena's sister.

"Bang Shandy.." Shiena muttered unconsciously.

Even now Shiena's eyes glazed over at the man she had not seen for ten years.
