Chapter 32 - Don't Think of Anything
Today, Shiena's condition is better. He started to move his limbs slowly. His feet still feel stiff to use walking or doing other physical activities. So Yitno decided to borrow a wheelchair from the hospital.
Ever since waking up from the coma, the thing Shiena wanted to do the most was to meet Anila. Shiena is very anxious about Anila's condition which is rumored to be in a coma.
"Dad, Mother. Allow me to meet Anila. Please!" Shiena pleaded in front of Wulan and Yitno.
"Honey, not Mother does not give permission. But you heard yourself, did you hear what the doctor said? You need to rest a lot to recover quickly. Your legs are not fully healed yet." Wulan tried to give Shiena some understanding.
But Shiena was not her name if she had to give up. "I promise I just want to see her for a minute! Yea? Please!"
Yitno and Wulan looked at each other. They also could not bear to see Shiena's persistence. Their daughter is known to love her friends very much.
"Alright, Mommy will take you to meet Anila."
Wulan pushed the wheelchair towards Anila's nursery. There they met with a nurse who oversaw Anila's condition.
"Patients can be visited, but only for a moment" said the nurse.
"Yes, Sister. I only briefly really. I just want to see the condition of Anila alone," replied Shiena.
The nurse helped push Shiena's wheelchair and into the isolation room where Anila was. Shiena felt sorry for seeing Anila's condition.
Shiena could not hold back her tears. He closed his mouth in disbelief if Anila's condition was really concerning.
Shiena remembered that if she first met her best friend, Anila did not want to open her face mask. Anila continued to cover up what her husband was doing.
"Anila... Awake, friend. We're gonna face your fucking husband together. He should get punished for what he has done to you" Shiena muttered.
"So, do you know if the patient is a victim of KDRT?" Ask the nurse.
Shiena nodded. "Yes, he came here because he wanted to ask me for help, Sister. But it turns out we had an accident, and now Anila is unconscious..."
Not wanting Shiena to continue to grieve, the nurse took the initiative to take Shiena out of Anila's room.
"Oh yes, miss. There will be a change of doctors who handle Miss Anila. Hopefully this replacement doctor can make changes to Miss Anila's condition."
"Yes, Sus. Hope so... I'll feel guilty for Anila's family if she doesn't wake up."
The nurse said goodbye to Shiena and her parents. Wulan immediately pushed the wheelchair back into Shiena's nursery.
"Oh yes, Father, Mother. Have you contacted Anila's family? Why is Anila not accompanied by anyone?"
Shiena's question made Yitno and Wulan look at each other.
"Your father has contacted Anila's family, son..."
"Certainly? Why hasn't anyone come?"
Shiena looked at her parents in turn.
"You'd better take a break, son. Don't think about anything first. Yea?" Yitno did not want to tell Shiena the truth.
"Dad... Please tell me what's going on? I've contacted Anila's family, haven't I?" Shiena held onto her father's arm.
Yitno again sighed. His daughter was very stubborn.
"Okay, I'll tell you. But after that you have to rest. Your condition is not fully recovered, son. Please think of yourself too!" Yitno seems worried because her daughter is worried about the condition of others and not herself.
"Yes, Dad. I promise."
"Dad contacted Anila's family. But, there were rules in their area that Anila had already broken."
"I mean Dad?" Shiena did not understand.
"A girl who has been edited by a man belongs entirely to her husband. And whatever happened to the girl, her family had no right to interfere. Same with what happened with Anila. Her family had no right to interfere even though Anila was now injured. And they even regretted the actions of Anila who ran away from her husband. Because the problem won't be solved if we run away."
Shiena. What his father said is true as well. But, Shiena still did not accept because Anila's husband had hurt Anila physically and mentally.
"Now you rest! Come on, help you get in bed again." Wulan helped Shiena to lie down again in the hospital gurney.

On the other hand, Willy tried to move his legs, but could not. Maybe because it is too long lying down, making the muscles in his body have not worked optimally.
"Sister must undergo therapy so that the legs can move as before." Martha gives Willy a suggestion.
"I'll do whatever you think is good for me, my dear sister." Willy rubbed Martha's head gently.
"Yes, Brother. I'll make sure you're healthy again as usual. Now sister rest ya! Don't think of anything heavy, so that your condition will recover quickly."
"Yes, thanks. Oh yeah, where's Aunt Litha? Some days, I don't see him coming."

"Everything." Willy smiled meaningfully then closed his eyes.
Although he knows the truth of his family through a dream, Willy believes that what he dreams of is the truth during his presence.
Of course the truth has its own way of showing what really happened to Willy. Although only through a dream when he was in a coma.
