108. The Tragic End of a Pride

“Aaaaakh!”

Riandra screamed as soon as she saw the black joker serial killer walking slowly towards her.  His face paled as he looked at the grim smile of the serial killer from behind the mask that covered the top of his face.

The desperate Riandra chose to run in the opposite direction instead of choosing to drive her car behind the serial killer.  He slipped, but got back up quickly knowing that his life-taker was near to him.

Around twenty meters away, the serial killer suddenly stopped his steps in pursuit of Riandra.

“Yeah, actually I really want to execute it with my own hands.  That way, I can be satisfied to see the face that has persecuted the person I love the most, taking lives before my own eyes.  But like this interesting too.”  Said the black joker serial killer with a grim smile.

The Riandra continued to run forward on the straight road that only led in that one direction.  Once he turned his head and found that the black joker serial killer had no more chasing him, he was relieved.  Unfortunately, the sense of legality was only temporary.

Suddenly, from behind the bushes in front of him, a young man had been waiting for him with his flaming yellow eyes and an axe in his hand.  It was Tirta Wahyunusa.

“Aaaakh!  Tirta?”  Riandra was startled, but as soon as she took a close look at the mysterious figure, she finally realized that the mysterious figure turned out to be the one she knew.

However, Riandra did not lower her guardianship about Tirta's unusual bright yellow eyes plus Tirta had just disappeared after killing both of her own parents overseas.  Moreover, with an axe in his hand that seemed ready to take the lives of people at any time.

Tirta walked slowly towards Riandra while positioning his axe as it looked ready to attack coupled with a ruthless facial expression that seemed ready to kill it.

“Tirta?  What do you want to do?  Don't come any closer!!”  Panicked Riandra finds Tirta's unusual appearance and behavior after a long disappearance, then shows his vigilance to the maximum level.  He equated Tirta's advancing steps toward him with his backward steps away from him.

“Go!  Don't come near me!  Fucking commoners!”  Riandra said aloud to Tirta, but it seemed that Tirta did not press him and continued to steady his steps closer to Riandra at a faster speed.

Seeing this, Riandra panicked and finally decided to run away.  But because behind him is a black joker serial killer, he can't turn around.  He decided to enter a road full of bushes located right to his right at this time.

Riandra ran as fast as she could while shouting for help, but no one seemed to be poking at her request for help.

The place was quiet, but there were several houses standing around, including in the T-junction where he met Tirta, there was a stall there even though it seemed closed now.  He hoped that there would be people who heard cries for help, especially some of the houses seemed to light up the porch lights that indicated there might be people in the house.

Strangely, however, the atmosphere was too quiet and there was absolutely no sign of people around.

Riandra ran as fast as she could to save herself, but Tirta was able to outrun her.  And finally, the,

“Aaaakh!”  Tirta managed to grab Riandra's hair and grabbed it.

Not long after that, though,

“Praaaak!”  There was the sound of the axe slashing and Riandra fell to the ground.

“Eh, what?”  Riandra, unable to respond to what was really going on, groped her body with her right hand.

“Blood?  Aaaaaaakh!”

He finally found a lot of blood splashing on his body.  And as soon as he closely watched his body part, he finally found that his left hand had slipped off his body.  She screamed so much.

“Hahahaha.  Funny too.  The one who had always insulted me as a commoner, who had always prided himself on his superiority just because of a bit of luck being born into a rich family and from a noble lineage, was now dying before me.  Hey, how does it feel to be looked down upon by a commoner?”  Tirta said while looking at Riandra with hatred.

However, due to his condition of losing a lot of blood, Riandra's speed slowed down.  Tirta was just chasing after Riandra with a leisurely step.

“No.  No. gabe.  Nah!  Why did everything become like this?  I like bullying.  I like to torture the weak.  I like to make others suffer.  I like to demean the commoners.  What's up with all that?  I deserve all of that because I'm a special person.  I'm a descendant of nobility.”  Said Riandra while panting which seemed to start losing stamina regarding anemia.

“But I don't want to be in the opposite position.  Wrongfully.  All this is wrong!!!”  He said once again with a consciousness that seemed a little more would disappear.

Tirta continued to chase after Riandra with her leisurely steps with a gleeful expression on her face, like a cat that was excited to play the mouse of its prey before it was devoured.

“Traaaak!”  A moment later, once Tirta was satisfied enough to see Riandra running in pain, the sound of slashing was once again heard and Riandra lost her balance and fell down.

“Eh?  What happened?”  Said Riandra astonished while looking down at her body.

“Aaaaaaakh!”  How shocked he was to find that this time, his legs were separated from his body.

But he did not give up.  He used the remnants of his strength to move forward.  With his right hand, the only motion device still attached to his body, he crawled forward.

Seeing Riandra's desperate struggle to survive, Tirta smiled with satisfaction.  He so enjoyed the sight of the haughty man crawling on the ground to fight for life when death was near.

He was very pleased with the sight as if Riandra was a worm writhing in pain as her body was halved.

“No.  I want to live.  I want to live. I am the one who should stand at the top as a noble descendant and make all the descendants of those commoners suffer.”  Said Riandra as her consciousness slowly faded.

He recalled his conversation together with Araka and Aleka.

“Araka, I have said many times that Tirta is not worthy to associate with us.  He has absolutely no blood.  His life is now scattered treasure just for licking on Mr. Sudarmin.  Couldn't you do something to get him kicked out of our gang?”  Riandra to Araka.

However, before Araka answered Riandra's words, Aleka first cut. “Riandra, you've gone too far.  What era is this so you still pay attention to such a bloodline?!  The kingdom is long over.  What matters now is power and money!  You are also half a commoner right? It's time you accepted Tirta as part of us.”

“It's exactly like what Aleka said.  Tirta's parents are also important people who help us a lot in carrying out transactions in the underworld.  Silva loved him very much.  There's no way that I'm throwing away people whose whereabouts are important to our gang like that.  Looks like you who have to change, more should be open with the times.”  Araka also gave his answer to Riandra's comments.

Back to the present.

Riandra, who had almost lost her consciousness of blood loss, seemed to be muttering something.

“Do you really say, Araka?  The so-called commoners, can't be trusted.  They will only gnaw us to the end and when the sweetness has disappeared from us, they will not hesitate to throw us to turn to the next master.”

And “Praaaak!”

"I want to live..."

A moment later, Riandra fell silent.  He was silent with his eyes wide open.  An axe had apparently stuck into his head.  He had breathed his last with a final strike in which Tirta stuck an axe into the back of his head.

Looking at that scene, Tirta looked very satisfied.  He laughed gleefully as if all the burdens of thought he had been stacking up all this time, were released just like that.

“Hahahahaha!”  Tirta laughed so much.

It looked faint, but it could be seen a strange carving on the axe.  A four-spade card engraving that crossed one of the spade emblems is precisely engraved on one side of the axe iron section.
