9. Behind the Mask of Chastity

The room was silent for a moment.  The five police officers looked at each other.

“So you guys want to say that the suspect in this sadistic murder case is a high school boy?”  The old man showed his veins a hint of disbelief or doubt over the thing he had just heard.

“In that case, we have already investigated the traces of Kaiser Dewantara's past, the person mentioned in the tape.  However, we did not find any data that Kaiser had undergone training related to the use of swords.  So, there's little chance that he's the culprit.”  The female officer said in response to her senior's question.

“With the wealth of the Dewantara family, what is impossible?  His family could have prepared special training for him in secret.  Then isn't his mother a descendant of a martial arts family?  Could have learned from his mother.”  Officer Dono said in response to his junior's words.

CCTV footage of the mall recording Aleka and Kaiser is then displayed in front of the five of them.

“Back to topic.”  The one who got out of the long debate was Officer Dono.

“Therefore, we will smuggle this junior of ours, Fero, into the same school and class as Kaiser to investigate Kaiser deeply.  I will always watch him outside.  How about that, sir?”  Ask Officer Dono to the Old Policeman who is the leader of the team.

“Ok.  I allow.”  Said the old man agreeing to the Woman Officer's request.

Thus, the division of tasks between the five of them was completed.

Kaiser walked with a bright face from a distance in one of the corridors to his classroom.  However, Andika who approached him finally found that Kaiser's expression seemed unusual.  Although her lips were smiling, her blue eyes were not as brightly sparkling as usual.

[Well, who wouldn't be hit with the incessant media baseless accusations lately against him.]  Andika muttered in the heart.

That morning, without an official statement from the police, 3 among the 5 public television broadcasting stations in Indonesia, announced Kaiser as the main suspect in the murder of 59 people in the Sungsin Security Office including Mr. Widarno Putrawardhani as the Managing Director, wife, and his son Aleka Gebriansyah Putrawardhani.

[Do they have no sense?  How could one accuse an ordinary High School boy of such a sadistic murder?  It definitely doesn't make sense!  Well, even though my best friend if classified between normal and abnormal is classified as abnormal, but until accused of being a murderer.  They've gone too far.  And what are the various voice and video recordings?  To the point of bringing up this childhood trauma of my best friend.  Those people are cruel. Andika also looked at Kaiser from the side, saying, “Hei, want to skip school together?”

Just a distraction, Vetsin by Andika is Vet Tcin, Rihana's mother who is of Thai descent.  After divorcing her husband who is Indonesian on the grounds of not being able to stand with her husband who is sickly due to leukemia, Vet Tcin still decided to stay in Indonesia.  He is currently the chief reporter for N News and Entertainment's N-TV TV broadcasting station.  Her husband died 5 years ago.

“Not so, Ratih and the gang?”  Andika said asking for approval for her words on 3 girls who had just passed her who might have heard their conversation earlier.

The three girls turned around to hear the greeting addressed to them.
