63. Kaiser and Lu Shou Meeting

“You, Kaiser?  What are you doing here?”  Lu Shou said in a panic.  Behind Lu Shou was hidden a sword made of water as a form of her watchful self-preservation.

Kaiser was unaware of that.  He just smiled kindly at Lu Shou.

“I know this is sudden, but from now on, I will be in charge of Araka's mother.”  Kaiser said firmly but still maintained his friendly smile.

“What?”  Lu Shou was surprised.

The sound of Bu Melisa's wheelchair was coming closer.  Lu Shou immediately hid the water sword back.

Melisa also peeked at the guests who came.

“Wah, very handsome boy!  Do you happen to be Araka's friend?”  He asked the guests who came to his house.

“True Bu.  Introduce, my name is Kaiser.”

“Oh!  Really polite boy.”  Miss Melisa replied with a bright smile on her face as she approached Kaiser and stroked his cheek.

“I'm glad Araka has a good kid friend like you.”  He said smilingly staring at Kaiser.”

“Where is Auntie sure she's a good kid?  It could be that his friendly-looking face was just a mere mask!”  Lu Shou unintentionally spoke to Ms. Melisa in Chinese which showed how panicked she was.

Ms. Melisa was silent for a moment.  He's not very good at Chinese, but he keeps trying by stammering in saying it, “Sure I know.  After being with Lu Tianfeng for almost 18 years, Aunt's instincts were more sensitive to such a thing.”  Ms. Melisa said as she smiled at Lu Shou.

Lu Shou stared at Kaiser.  He recalled Araka's last phone call to him which seemed to be desperate to protect Kaiser.  It seems that Kaiser is a friend who means to Araka so it is unlikely that she is a bad person.  But after hearing from Riandra and Dirga about Kaiser, he became doubtful.

“Why do you want to take care of Aunt Melisa?  I'm looking after him, can.”  Said Lu Shou with his tongue while looking at Kaiser.

Looks like Ms. Melisa was a little surprised about the contents of their chat which was apparently about taking care of her disabled self.

“Nak Kaiser, Shou, you guys don't have to bother.  I can take care of myself.”  Said Ms. Melisa.

The two of them looked at Ms. Melisa deeply.  They saw his hand being cut from the slash and his knees and feet being scuffed by a fall.  They both breathe out long breaths.

Kaiser looked at Lu Shou.  Lu Shou stared back at that gaze.  Kaiser suddenly continued his speech with a language that was more controlled by Lu Shou, probably because he saw it a bit stammering in Indonesian.

“Until when can you take care of him?  Don't you also have family at home?”

“I can take her back to Shanghai with me.”  Lu Shou replied in a low voice due to his lack of confidence in his words.

“Lantas, has your father agreed to that?  From what I heard, he decided to leave her.  So what would you do if your father suddenly got angry and did the unforgivable thing to Miss Melisa?”

“I can set aside my savings to rent it a house as foreign as.”  Lu Shou replied to Kaiser with an even lower volume of sound.  He seems to be getting more unsure.

“Terus, what if your stepmother one and her two children increasingly bully Ms Melisa?  Are you sure you can protect her while you also have to take care of your biological mother?”

“Good.  I can understand your suspicion of that.  Well, then, here it is.  You stay in my family's hospital. There the equipment is complete and there is also a nurse who can stand by 24 hours to care for him.  Thus, it will be easy to meet all the needs of Ms. Melisa.  You can also leave without having to worry if there is urgent business.  And if the problem is over, you can go back to visit Ms. Melisa again.

I don't mean to be rude, but isn't your financial condition bad now?  You can't even pay the nanny's salary for Ms. Melisa because your pocket money was reduced by your father.”

Hearing that, Lu Shou bowed.  He would inevitably admit the truth of the facts spelled out by the Kaiser.  His current condition was not a good time to worry about his stepmother at a time when he and his biological mother were also experiencing economic problems due to Lu Tianfeng's discrimination against his mother regarding him being rendered useless.

After a long time of thinking, Lu Shou finally said, “Alright.  But if anything happens to Aunt Melisa, I'll never forgive you.”

Ms. Melisa who had been silent because of the language gap where she could catch the flow of the conversation, but could not get involved because she was less proficient in vocabulary, finally decided to engage in the chat using the language he mastered when the two had fallen silent.

“Tante mean it that Auntie is okay!  How could Auntie be able to trouble good kids like you?”  Shouted Miss Melisa with a little emotional.

Seeing that, Kaiser sentar smiled in the style of his prince towards Bu Melisa while saying, “Tante does not need to feel bad, because Senior has given a lot of help to me before.  After all, this is Senior's last request to me.  Senior would definitely be sad in nature there if Aunt rejected him.”

In one of the rooms in the immigration office that houses troubled foreign visitors documents his arrival in Indonesia, Pak Arkias was seen frantically speaking while scolding one of the officers there.

Airi sat in the back seat while leaning back to rest.  Suddenly, an unpleasant premonition was felt by Airi.  He immediately rushed to approach Mr. Arkias.  Airi then whispered.

[Dialogue in Japanese]

“It seems our situation is dire.  I detected 2 energy E level cultivators were moving closer to this island.”

“What?  How can?  I have not received any reports from my men about the suspicious list of passengers to Indonesia!”  Mr. Arkias couldn't help his panic.  He spoke out loud and half-screamed.

“Not so.  They came here apparently not by plane.”

“Then with what?  A ship?  In that case, they should have arrived much longer.”

“No.  They came here by running.”  Answer Airi firmly.
