31. Andika's Precious Testimony

Andika's sudden shout then made them become the attention of the crowd of students passing by.  But the policeman just smiled.

“Just relax, I didn't mean anything. Only..”

“Then, why did you come here?  Is this again because of the bullies problem?  Just so you know sir, my friend was not involved in anything about what happened to them.  I was the witness myself because on the night that Rihana's murder coincided with me and Kaiser were both locked in the library.  So there's no way Kaiser did it.”

Andika immediately refuted the police's words before the Police managed to finish his sentence with great anger.

“No, no, that's not what I'm here for.  I only intend to give a summons as a witness to Kaiser because of the possibility of both victims dying from the murder case.  Of course we don't accuse Kaiser of being the culprit.  It's just that, as a close friend of the victim of bullying, Dek Kaiser must know more about everything related to the incident.  Including anyone who might have a grudge against the bullies as a result of the incident."

Hearing the police's words, Andika watched him vigilantly.

"Oh yeah, here's the call.  Can Kaiser's Friend Deck read, right?  His ha se-gai sak-si.”

Said the policeman smilingly as he showed the letter to Andika while pointing clearly at the section ‘ as his witness’ and then handed the letter to Kaiser.

Unknowingly, Kaiser picked it up with his left hand.  The policeman looked carefully at Kaiser's movements.

“Oh, so.  Then forgive me sir for my sassness." Andika lowered her head while apologizing to the Police.

“By the way, introduce my name Andika Pak.”  Andika.

“Oh, Deck Andika apparently.  No why.”  The policeman replied, smiling.

“Which is more important than that, I just heard something interesting.  You two locked up on the day of the incident?”

“That's right Sir.”  Answer Andika firmly.

“Kok can?”

“That, because of the carelessness of Mr. Securitinya who locked the door after his library keeper came home without seeing that there was still someone inside.”

Kaiser patted Andika on the shoulder.  Andika who seemed to still want to talk a lot of things, immediately fell silent as if she realized Kaiser's cue to not have to reveal unnecessary things.  Andika then turned to Kaiser and Kaiser smiled back at her.

“OK Sir.  Wait, right?  Because there's still two and a half hours left.  Excuse me first.  I'll be there when the time comes.”  Said Kaiser while issuing a smile style prince style.

“Hooooh?”  The policeman looked at Andika with a curious expression.  His gaze was then transferred to Kaiser.  He felt that Kaiser's movements were somewhat suspicious.

“How about Dek Andika also come to the police station as a witness?”

“Why?”  Hearing the police trying to implicate Andika, Kaiser was a little unable to hide his anger.

“Didn't Dek Andika want to help Adek's friend?  With Adek's description, Kaiser will definitely not be suspected again.”  The police said, pretending to smile kindly.

“All right I'm with.”

“Andika.”  Kaiser seemed to disagree with Andika's decision.

“It's okay, Kaiser.  Kan only give a simple description.”

Kaiser only sighed at Andika's answer and looked at her intensely.  He then directed his gaze at the policeman while looking at him cynically.  The police only replied with a sweet smile.

***

That afternoon, at exactly 16:30, Andika came at almost the same time as Kaiser.

Andika was accompanied by her father, Pak Suwirno, while Kaiser was accompanied by her father and mother, Pak Lucias and Bu Nana.  In front of the entrance, Officer Mono greeted them and invited each to a separate room.

However, Dono swiftly held his hand and intercepted him away.

“No, I'll interview his friend.  You meet Kaiser.”  Dono said that while smiling cynically.

Dono went into the promised room.  In the room, Andika and her father were sitting on a chair with a medium-sized rectangular table.  In front of them were drinks and snacks.  They seem well served.

Unfortunately, the father-son couple seemed to have no interest in touching the dish at the table.  It just seemed a look of suspicion and displeasure from the two of them.

Dono opened his words by greeting the two of them.  The two answered Dono's greeting with expressions that could not hide his displeasure.

“Sorry to have taken your precious time.  It seems, although busy, Mr. Suwirno who often appears in this businessman magazine is able to spend his time at this time.”  Dono said with a friendly smile.

“No need to talk.  Just get to the point quickly.  What information do you want to know from my son.”  Mr. Suwirno quickly replied in anger.

Unseen affected by Mr. Suwirno's anger, Dono continued his words calmly.

“There is interesting information that I had obtained from Andika about her being trapped in her school library with Kaiser along with the time of Rihana's murder.”.

“So what's with that?  Don't tell me you still suspect Kaiser is the culprit.”  Sighly, Mr. Suwirno cut Dono's words with a furious tone.

Dono still looks calm while saying, “If possible, can Dek Andika explain in detail what happened?”

Andika also started to tell the events that happened when it started where they went to the library because Kaiser suddenly wanted to rent a novel that had just entered the library that day, a library guard who had to go home quickly because of his sister's accident, a careless security guard locked the door after seeing his library guard go home without checking if anyone was still inside, until the incident where they were locked, and then they were locked up, until finally found by Loki and Beni so they can get out.

“So you guys are locked in the library for 5 more hours?  What did you guys do during that time?”  Dono immediately asked the next question.

“That, after being locked up, I fell asleep because of overachievement.  So, almost during the time in the library, I just fell asleep.”

“Kaiser how?”

“When I woke up, Kaiser seemed to be panting.  He said, as a result of trying as hard as possible to turn on the library lights that switch outside the door.”

“For almost 5 hours trying to turn on the light switch?”

“Four hours, Sir.  Apparently, before dark, Kaiser said he was busy reading his favorite novel.  Because it was dark and could not read, he had just thought to turn on the lights.  After turning on the lights, I saw Kaiser continue reading again until the door managed to open.”

“Oh, what kind of novel makes Kaiser to be willing to run as far as 300 meters from the sports building to the library?”

“A type of fantasy novel, sir, which is widely popular among teenagers lately.”

“Hoh, interesting too.”

Dono paused for a moment his sentence before continuing,

“By the way, who has access to that library key?”

“Library guard, front gate security, teacher room, and OSIS room, Pak.”  Andika said that while counting with her hands.

“OK.  Thanks for the valuable info, Dek Andika.  This will definitely help in the investigation.”

Andika was astonished by the police statement.  He was astonished at which part of his statement could release Kaiser from suspicion, while Mr. Suwirno stared intently at the police while saying,

“Your imagination seems too high Mr. Police.”
