141. Goodbye, Airi

“So apparently that's what's going on in your family, Airi-san.  And stupidly I almost ignored it.”  Lirih Kaiser from behind the door was so aware that her presence had been known to Airi.

“Take it easy, Kaiser-kun.  I'll stay by your side until the problem with the serial killer is over.”  Airi said with a smile towards Kaiser.

Kaiser stepped slowly towards Airi then smothered the shoulder of the woman who was slightly shorter than him.

“Airi-san, you certainly know which one to take first right?”

“Yes.  And that is to protect you, Kaiser-kun.”

Hearing Airi's reply, Kaiser fell silent for a moment.  He stared with a sad expression towards Airi.  Airi seemed to be trying to avoid Kaiser's eyes.

“Airi-san doesn't need to worry about me at this time.  Didn't the black joker serial killer declare me the last victim?  There's still time until then.  I think Airi-san should go home this time to protect Airi-san's family.”  Kaiser said as he looked at Airi with seriousness.

“But..” Airi momentarily looks shaky.

“Isn't the mobilization of a cultivator very fast?  You can go back to Japan and come back here in the blink of an eye.  As long as it is, I will protect myself well.  So, Airi-san, focus now on your family affairs.”  Kaiser said back with a friendly smile.

“But..Kaiser-kun, i..”.

As soon as I heard the words ‘I will always wait for you here’ from Kaiser's mouth, Airi's tears immediately spilled and she also vented all her feelings into the form of crying.  Kaiser hugged the woman into a warm embrace.

“As long as I go, please don't die, Kaiser-kun.”

“Give it to me, Airi-san.  I will fight as hard as I can to survive.”

A moment later, Airi's figure simply disappeared like smoke mingling with the breeze, leaving Kaiser alone in the room.

On May 19, 2022, approximately a week after the day of Airi's departure, she had gathered at the hospital where Loki had been treated as Ms. Loki, Alena, Kaiser, Andika, and Fero to visit Loki who has passed out for about a week.

Loki was initially treated at a special detention house treatment center where Alena and her friends worked, but who would have thought that Loki's condition did not improve as well after a day passed so it was forced to immediately be transferred to a larger hospital.

And who would have thought that right at Kaiser and Andika's second visit, Loki finally opened his eyes.

“Hmmm.”  Lirih Loki who finally began to realize.

As soon as he woke up, Loki found that his friends were all around him.  Kaiser was the first to notice Loki's eyes open.

“Loki?  Loki, you finally realized.”  Kaiser looked so happy.

It then provoked the attention of everyone who was there to pay attention to Loki.  A moment later, the atmosphere was blue, they were all happy with Loki's recovery.

“Pardon me and Captain Maya, Loki.  We didn't realize at all that your ability required such a huge payday.  Hiks...Hiks...” Alena said as she sobbed in tears while hugging Loki's plan.

Alena shakes.  However, before any other info could get into Loki's ears, Kaiser immediately took the initiative while returning Loki's friendly smile with his friendly smile as well.

“Everything went well thanks to your help, Loki.  Captain Maya and his friends are still trying their best to investigate the case.  Therefore, rest for now, buddy, so that your condition can be better soon and return to help their investigation.”  Kaiser said with a friendly smile.

However, Loki is able to capture the complicated expression shown by his other best friend, Andika.  It didn't take long for Loki to realize that something was wrong that had happened as long as he was unconscious.

However, a week of unconsciousness actually made his body lose stamina so he just obeyed Kaiser's words for the time being to rest while returning his body condition to its optimal state.

In the afternoon, Kaiser finally returned home.  He decided to go home quickly because because tomorrow there are still 2 final subjects to be tested on his class exam.  After the tragic incident about Tirta at his school at that time, his class exam was postponed a week to this week.

Arriving home, Kaiser crosses paths with his uncle, Mr. Arkias.  Kaiser gave his friendly greetings to his uncle and was about to rush to his room to prepare for his exam tomorrow, but Pak Arkias suddenly intercepted him.

“Why was that time, you instead told Airi to go back to Japan, Nak Kaiser?”  Ask the uncle to his nephew.

“I can't do anything about it.  Airi-san's family is in danger.  Where we might be able to hold Airi-san here and let her regret if anything happens to her family.”  Answer Kaiser firmly.

“Lantas, how are you, son?  What if something happens to you?  You are the only hope of this family as the sole heir after what happened to your cousin sister.”  Once again the uncle asked, this time with more sentimental.

“I'm sorry, Uncle.”  Instead of answering, Kaiser simply gave his apology while bowing his head.

It looked a complicated expression from behind the handsome boy's face.  Seeing that, the uncle was increasingly unable to stem his anxiety.  He rubbed the boy's head and hugged him tightly.

“Uncle will definitely find the best way to protect you, Nak.”  The uncle was accompanied with determination.

That morning, Captain Maya walked at the police station to the department of heavy crime.  Many are surprised by the existence of Captain Maya there because Captain Maya should not be there about the office for the disaster management division is not reasonable to have separated itself away from the headquarters.

Once again Captain Wiwik gave an answer with a tired expression on his face while sighing.

Said the old man while leaning himself on the swivel chair he was sitting on while staring at the ceiling tiredly.
