73. The Night of the Bloody Massacre in Shanghai

That morning, the Lu family would be getting ready to attend Lu Xinting and Ye Lifei's engagement procession.  However, because of Lu Meilan's hatred for Lu Shou's mother, Lu Suyun, he also tried to find out because of her.  Amidst the busyness of their family who were preparing to attend the event, Lu Meilan accidentally bumped into Lu Suyun and was about to splash a red drink on Lu Suyun's silver-colored dress.

But unexpectedly, a waiter who passed beside them, accidentally hit Lu Meilan's elbow so that the drink spilled on her yellow dress.  However, instead of blaming the servant, Lu Meilan returned to his original plan to humiliate Lu Suyun.

“Argggh!  You're impudent Suyun.  Because of you, my dress got dirty!” Shouted Lu Meilan.

Lu Suyun could only be speechless and confused to do anything.  His eyes are also glazed.  But in contrast, with Melisa, Lu Suyun had a strong backingan in their family.  She was none other than Grand Madam Liu Peipei, Lu Tianfeng's first wife as well as the largest shareholder in Lu Tianfeng's company.

“What is this?  You instead of getting ready at your child's engagement event, even look for it because here!”  Snapped Liu Peipei who came to them to Lu Meilan.

“Sister!  Can't you see my dirty dress?  It's all because of that damn thing!”

Hearing Lu Meilan's defense, Liu Peipei turned to the servant near them who was the real culprit for the spill of red juice in Lu Meilan's dress.

“Already.  You go to the back.”

“Thank you Big Mistress.”

Liu Peipei turned his gaze towards Lu Meilan.  Out of that cold sweat behind his face.

“I'm sorry Brother.  I was apparently mistaken to see who hit me until the juice spilled.”

Lu Meilan looked down apologizing to Liu Peipei then immediately ran away from that location without the slightest intention of apologizing let alone having feelings of guilt towards Lu Suyun.

After Lu Meilan left, Lu Tianfeng came over to the two of them.

“Ck ck.  No child, no mother, all sources of problems.”

“Darling, what are you saying?  Obviously Suyun is the victim here.”  Liu Peipei tried to defend Lu Suyun.

“If from the beginning he was not weak, then which Meilan would dare to disturb him?  It's all because he's weak.  Giving birth to children, too, can be garbage children.  Ck ck ck ck.”

Lu Tianfeng's entourage consisting of Lu Tianfeng, Lu Meilan, Lu Xinting as the main characters of this event, Lu Xinyi, Fei Sangchen, and a few bodyguards then departed towards the location.

After the engagement was over, Lu Tianfeng invited Ye Lifei to make a deal regarding their business in Indonesia.  They held the meeting in one of Lu Tianfeng's meetinghouses, which was designed to be sturdy anti-intruder and surrounded by reliable bodyguards.

“Welcome Mr. Lifei at our place.”  Welcome Lu Tianfeng.

“No formal language needed, Uncle, because we are already a family.”  Answer Ye Lifei kindly.

They also discussed a business deal between two families so as not to clash with each other's interests.  One of the important things they discussed was that all business locations in Indonesia that were originally controlled by Lu Tiafeng would be handed over to the Ye family to be managed from then on in exchange for some owned factories the Ye family will be handed over to the Lu family.

Suddenly, the room lights went off.  There was the sound of sadistic cries one by one from the guards.  Emergency lights are on.  How shocked they were because the meeting room had become a pile of corpses.

“Aaaaakh!”  Lu Xinting shouted in surprise.  Ye Lifei immediately calmed down his fiancee.

Lu Tianfeng, Lu Meilan, Lu Xinting, Ye Lifei, and Lu Xinyi, along with a few bodyguards Lu Tianfeng and Ye Lifei finally managed to leave the room and rushed out of the building to immediately head to the twin buildings next to it.

But unfortunately, Fei Sangchen was unable to escape.  When he was almost at the front door, his head was neatly cut off by some sort of serration wrapped in a strange wind.  Lu Meilan who was right in front of him and witnessed the incident, immediately shouted a shock.

Lu Tianfeng tried to drag his wife.  However, due to his shock, his legs were so trembling that he could not stand up.  She and the frightened party decided to leave Lu Meilan behind.

It didn't take long, a figure of a man walked out of the room with his claws made of metal.  He also raised the claw to Lu Meilan's face.  Lu Meilan's head fell apart and he was killed.

The man who took Lu Meilan's life was none other than the squinty-eyed one of the Trans forbidden organization's member cultivators previously hired by Lu Tianfeng to kill Kaiser.  A short while later, his friend the brunette who was also a peer-organized cultivator who was simultaneously hired by Lu Tianfeng to kill Kaiser, walked out of the room after slaughtering everyone inside.

How shocked Lu Tianfeng was after witnessing who the perpetrator who had slaughtered his entourage was.

“That damn people!”  Angry shouting.

Lu Tianfeng, Lu Xinting, Ye Lifei, and Lu Xinyi, along with two of Lu Tianfeng's bodyguards and two Ye Lifei's bodyguards ran as fast as they could to get out of the building while the few remaining bodyguards sacrificed their lives to hinder the movement of the two cultivators.

They also managed to get outside the building.  Lu Tianfeng immediately gestured for the administrators of the twin buildings next to him from below to suppress the emergency trap switch on the next building that the two cultivators had infiltrated.

As a result, trapped the two cultivators inside the building whose surroundings were covered by a layer of hard metal.  Apparently, the metal layer was so hard that it was not scratched even though, although it had been slashed many times by the claws of the narrow eyes and dagger covered in the sharp wind of the hair factory.
