72. Mass Hypnosis

“Airis, are all children of rainbow syndrome the awakened ones?  Wilda asked Airi who was in front of her.

“No.  However, in the body of children with rainbow syndrome like us there is a congenital chakra from birth that makes it easier for us to be awakened.”  Answer Airi.

“Then, can Young Master also be resurrected?”

Instead of answering Wilda's question, Airi instead looked at Kaiser who was next to her with a mischievous smile.

“I don't want to get involved in such things.  Normal life is the best.”

“So yes.”

Hearing Kaiser's reply, Wilda became gloomy.  The sharp Kaiser soon realized that his words had accidentally injured Wilda who had just been able to control her awakening power.  He looked at Wilda.

Kaiser seemed misbehaved explaining to Wilda.  Wilda simply nodded while smiling awkwardly in response which made Kaiser even more uneasy.  Airi noticed the scene.

“Hei Kaiser-kun, are you worried about being barren after awakening?  Airi asked curiously.

“Yeah, that's one of them.”

“If it is, you don't have to worry.  The rainbow syndrome child was different from the barren old-school cultivators.  There have been a total of 6 cases of children born from the couple ‘seed’.  Ah, seed that's the term for a child with awakened rainbow syndrome.  Four of them were able to inherit eye color from one of their parents.  The other two were somehow born as normal children.

Airi who was walking behind Kaiser then looked at Andika with a mischievous smile on her face.

“Andika, your talk is disrespectful to Shinomiya-san.”  Seeing that, Kaiser scolded Andika.

“Sorry.”  Andika could not fight her best friend and just bowed down apologizing.

“Hehehe.”  However, Airi further teased Andika with her naughty laughter.

“Shinomiya-san, do not be disrespectful to Andika.”  Kaiser scolded Airi.

“Uh, Kaiser-kun.  Why do you greet me so formally.  A-i-ri-san, you should greet me with my last name.  Or you can also miss the san, just call me Airi.”  Said Airi in a mischievous tone to Kaiser.

“Hah, it's up to you Airi-san.  In that case, you should also get along with Andika or I will not treat you as a close person.”  Reply to Kaiser while bowing his chin over the right hand he held up on the table.

“Hehehe.  Alright, Kaiser-kun.”  Airi replied while smiling seductively to Kaiser.

Airi then bent naturally so that her mouth was parallel to Andika's ears.  Unbeknownst to Kaiser, whispering something into Andika's ear.

“How's my body?  Exciting right?  Kaiser-kun will definitely be a clamp if he sees it.  Oh yeah, what would Kaiser-kun think if he found out that his friend was a peepsmith?  I told the guy no yes if his friend just peeked earlier?”

“Hei!”  Andika panicked.  Sweat seemed to wash all over his body.

“It's okay, Kaiser.”  Andika looked panicked.

Kaiser stared at Andika long ago.  Andika then smiled awkwardly in response.  Seeing Andika's expression that seemed to hide something that Kaiser did not want to know from her, Kaiser sighed softly and decided to let Andika with her privacy.

Kaiser finally diverted his attention from Andika by re-burying his head on the table.

“Hey, Fox Woman, you should take good care of your mouth to Kaiser yes.  I also did not intentionally want to see that scene.  Even I who lost because I accidentally saw it.”  Andika to Airi.

“Ho, you are not only threatening me, but also insulting my sexy body.  Alright, I decided to complain to Kaiser-kun” Airi whispered back with an evil smile on her face.

Andika held Airi's hand so as not to leave.

Airi also smiled with satisfaction because she managed to win the mental battle accompanied by a commensurate prize.

That afternoon, Loki trained as usual in the sword.  He recalls his conversation with Beni and Andika.

Loki thought that if all the actions of the media, the police, including Lu Tianfeng's actions were the result of mass hypnosis, then everything made sense.  He can see the motive of the perpetrator to get rid of the people who bother him by trying to divert all traces of him so as not to appear on the surface to Kaiser who also happens to be bad with the victim.

So who did it?  And is there perhaps an awakened power of people capable of mass hypnotism?  Loki has now learned that there is a power of awakened people who are able to control the minds of people if they kiss their breath in Norway.  But to control the mind-path of people with the scope of one country, is that possible?

Is it possible that Kaiser is one of the targets of the perpetrator as well where Kaiser will be scapegoated for his murder?  So who is the one who has grudges against Lu Tianfeng's group as well as the Dewantara family?

A moment later Fero had entered through the open door and was standing right behind Loki.  Loki apparently realized that even though Fero was standing right at his blind spot.

Loki also without further ado, opened the conversation.

“Hei, Fero.  Why do you think the police are too focused on investigating Kaiser in the serial murder case?  Don't you think that's weird?”

“What do you mean?”

Loki also told him everything that became his doubts, ranging from the behavior of the media, police, and Lu Tianfeng who seemed strange in responding to the serial murder case, including about the possibility of mass hypnosis.  Initially, Fero hesitated, but after being told, he finally realized the awkwardness.

Fero immediately called his captain, Danielo, while rushing out to get to his office.  However, it suddenly rained heavily so Fero rushed back to borrow a raincoat from Loki first.

However, a moment later,

“Eh, bizarre.  How do I call Captain Danielo?”

“Fero, any new reports what?”

“Ah, sorry Captain.  It seems I'm wrong to squeeze.”

The phone was closed and there was a look of astonishment behind Fero's face.

“If it's not wrong, there was something I wanted to do after hearing something from you.  But I forgot.  What were we talking about, Loki?”  Said Fero while looking at Loki who was practicing the sword.

“Eh, did we have time to chat yes, Fero?”  Loki replied in astonishment.
