EIGHT TARGETS
49. Apparently My Hero is Kaiser

Seeing the crowd of the night market from the top of the hill in his village, Araka was tempted to visit there.  However, instead of passing the highway by car, he prefers to go down the hill on foot through a path surrounded by thick trees.  He also walked by still carrying a small bag that had not been released from his waist including when he went to the toilet or when he slept for a while to rest.

On the way, he passed through a former mosque building where his memories turned out even after six years had passed, still left as they were in the past.

“Oh, it turns out that this path is also connected to the former building of this mosque.”  Araka said half muttered.

He then took out a shabby blue towel that was inside his small bag.  A photo fell as Araka pulled out the shabby blue towel.  He took a photo of the fallen.  Apparently, it was a photo of MOS's memories in which Araka as a committee with all five students of his direction.  One of the students of Araka's direction in MOS who seemed to be embraced was none other than Kaiser.

[Why can this photo be tucked in here?  Oh, apparently unconsciously at that time, I also put it with my wallet.]  Araka Gumam.

“What is the boy doing?”  Araka said to herself while smiling.

He pulled out a smartphone from his pocket and called someone.  Name on the call ‘Calon Subordinate No.1 – Kaiser Dewantara’.  He was none other than Kaiser, the 1st grade child who was Araka's main target as his subordinate.

“Tiiit..tiiit..tiiit..[...]..twit, tweet, tweet, number you are going to is busy, please call a few more moments.”.

“This boy.  Deliberately ignoring my call.”  Said Araka trying to contain her frustration.

“Don't think I'd just give up that damn kid.”  He said with an evil smile.

Twenty minutes later after Araka made the 37th call, the call was connected.

“What did Senior call?  Though I've been having a hard time getting out of town to avoid the problems caused by Senior and Senior friends.”  Say someone behind the phone.

***

Kaiser who had been staring at his smartphone while continuing to walk\, finally decided to pick up a phone call from a contact of someone named ‘Senior SMP_001_Araka’ it.  The name symbolizes that Araka is a senior who was first kept his number by Kaiser since entering Junior High School.

“What did Senior call?  Though I've been having a hard time getting out of town to avoid the problems caused by Senior and Senior friends.”  Said Kaiser who held the phone with his left hand while massaging his forehead with his other hand who also closed his right eye.  The clean white teeth of Kaiser were flaking.

“Yo, what are you doing now?”  Araka seemed to be trying to be friendly.

“Senior, it seems Senior forgot that we are hostile.  Why would someone call his enemy in such a cheerful tone of voice?”  Kaiser said trying to contain his anger.

“I've guessed you still hate me so much.”.

“Of course stupid.  After what you did to Dios, you think.” Kaiser can no longer hold back his anger.  He cut Araka's words before he finished his words while shouting that made the atmosphere of the night market around him crowded, suddenly becoming silent and suddenly paying attention to him.

Kaiser clenched his teeth until it was heard by Araka from behind the call.

“Sorry.”  Araka said sincerely.

“Can you make Dios sober with that apology of yours?  Rather than for me, you should have apologized to Dios.  Sure Senior wouldn't do it right?  Because Senior stays at Senior's establishment that what Senior does is the right thing!”  Kaiser once again snapped Araka from behind the phone in a loud voice.

Araka.  Kaiser then continued to release the fatigue in his heart.

“Why in friends should one see caste?  Why should people comment on others when choosing friends?  And also why are you not criticizing me directly, but instead bullying Dios behind my back.  No matter how I think, I still can't understand people like you.”

“Sorry.”  After a long silence, only one word could come out of Araka's mouth.

Kaiser then re-improved his mood.  He continued to ask, “So, what is the purpose of Senior actually calling me?  Given the nature of Senior who will only contact someone if there is a need, there is no way Senior called me just to say such nonsense things right?”

“I'm apparently a very bad person yes in your eyes.  Although I can't deny your conjecture.”  Araka with low intonation.  The sad look of the way he said it.

“Yes, Senior is the worst person I have ever known.”  Answer Kaiser coldly.

Araka.  Araka was unable to reply to Kaiser's comment to her because it was the truth.  Apologizing will only worsen Kaiser's emotions.  So, Araka decided not to respond.

The atmosphere of the phone remained silent for a while until Araka started her conversation again.

‘Kaiser, may I ask for something please?”

“If only I had been killed by that serial killer, could you replace me taking care of my mother?”

Kaiser was silent for a moment.  He pressed his forehead with his palm.

“Kaiser?”  Araka tried to ascertain whether the person she was in contact with was still on the phone line.

“No.”

“What?”

“No.  She was Senior Mother, so it was Senior who had to take responsibility for her.  Hence, Senior must survive.”

“Hahahaha.”  Araka laughed out loud at the cold, jutek answer from her junior.

“You're right Kaiser.  Of course I have to take care of him.  Hence, I will survive this danger.”  He said with determination.

“Hmm.”  Kaiser just assented without those words of senior determination.

After climbing the hill quite tired while answering the phone from his senior, Kaiser also arrived at the former mosque building, where his memories with Dios first.  How shocked he was, Kaiser met with Senior who called him at that place.  He was until unconscious with his senior voice from the top of the hill because of the boisterous atmosphere of the night market below.

“Geh, Senior is here?”

“You are also Kaiser.  You did say it was out of town, but I did not expect that we visited the same place.”

“Hahs.  If you remember, it is also true that in this village there are also your villas and Senior family villas Dirga.”  Said Kaiser with intonation that strongly showed his displeasure.

“So what is Senior doing here?”  Kaiser asked the senior.

“Of course for holidays.  Ye know?  My father's pressure is stressing me out a little.”

“Don't tell Senior to come here without a single bodyguard?”

“Of course.  Not the name of the holiday if still surrounded by bodyguard.”

“Yes Senior mercy.  Senior is very relaxed.  Though there is a possibility Senior is being targeted by a serial killer.  But come to think of it as well Senior came here alone so that the serial killer would also find it difficult to trace Senior's whereabouts.  Senior did not tell anyone if you were on vacation here?”

“None.  I came here on a whim too.  Hehehehe.”  The Senior replied with a bright laugh on his face.

“Either I should be amazed or afraid of that Senior's confidence.  What is clear, now it is best for Senior to just go home.  Make sure the door is locked safely and the next time you go anywhere, bring at least one or two bodyguards to accompany Senior wherever it is.  Moreover, this villa was certified on behalf of the immediate Senior family.  Easy for that serial killer to track him down.”

“In retrospect, I have indeed started getting sleepy.”  Said Araka while yawning.

“Then, I'll be home soon.”  He said again as he wiped his face with a shabby blue towel and put it back in his little bag along with the photo he had seen tucked between the towel and the hand holding the towel.

Kaiser seemed to notice the shabby blue towel.

“Oh yes, by the way, why can you be in this place?”  Araka asked who was curious as to why Kaiser could happen to meet her in the former building of the mosque.

“Oh, here are my precious memories together with Dios.  We once visited my grandmother's house during the graduation semester of grade 3 Elementary School in this place.  We then went on an adventure through the path near my grandmother's house.  Know we were strayed.  Coincidentally we found the former building of this mosque.  Back then, the water in this building happened to still be running and it really helped us who were dehydrated.  Frankly, it was my first experience drinking water from a tap.”  Kaiser said with a smile on his face full of nostalgia.

“Hahaha.  Your stomach must have hurt afterwards.”  Araka laughs to see Kaiser tell her his experience with pleasure.

“Geh.  You're right Senior.  I'll never drink tap water again.”  Kaiser responded while slightly popping out his tongue softly.

“Oh yes, by the way at that very moment, from the top of this hill, I saw a fat boy being bullied below.  Indeed people like Senior are everywhere.    I went straight down the hill to beat the bullies to pieces.  Such people must indeed be constrained to deter.  The physical span is more perfect, bullying people whose physical is less than perfect.  I hate people like them the most.  Oh yes, by the way, I also gave the boy a blue towel similar to the color of the towel that Senior used to clean his dirty body due to being rolled around because of being bullied.  I hope that the boy is now well and strong to face the rigors of this world.”

Hearing Kaiser's story, Araka's eyes widened.  He was wrong from the beginning.  The hero who had saved him back then was not Dirga, but this junior of his, Kaiser.
