Falling in Hate

Thomas and Ruby told the police everything. After giving their testimony home with Leo, Lucy's brother.

"Thank you for driving us" Ruby said in the car.

"No problem. It's nice to be able to help my new family" Leo said, driving. Arriving at home, the grandmother had cooked a lot of food aided by Lucy. Because it's Sunday so Lucy doesn't go to school.

"How long have we not been to college?" ask Ruby about Thomas.

"I don't know either" replied Thomas.

They dined together and stayed at Lucy's place for a few days so that if the police needed their help, they could help.

After eating, Thomas and Ruby took a walk in the village. News of the abduction has been widely circulated in the village. As Ruby and Thomas went for a walk, the villagers they met greeted them kindly.

"People here are friendly, yes" Ruby said.

"Yes dear," Thomas replied while embracing Ruby's shoulder.

"Thomas?! Hi," said a woman.

Thomas was a little surprised then greeted the woman.

"Ruby, this is Aster" Thomas said.

Then they get to know each other.

"I'm Thomas' ex-lover" Aster told Ruby.

Ruby is rather surprised and introduces herself that she is Thomas' lover.

"Oh, are you guys dating? All right," said Aster smiling.

They then returned to Lucy's house.

The place was the birthplace of Aster's mother and occasionally he visited to see his grandmother. That's all the information Ruby got from Thomas about Aster's whereabouts in that village.

One month passed, the Thomas family and the Ruby family had no news. Now they're back in town, telling their friends what happened and Kylie looks back on campus. Everyone inhabited her and she decided to move campuses.

Thomas and Ruby's relationship is still going on. Now they have been officially three months as lovers.

But Ruby felt Thomas' change in attitude slowly turn cold.

"Honey," Ruby held Thomas's hand while on campus.

Thomas immediately let go of Ruby's hand. Ruby understands because this is a campus and not a good place to show affection.

"Later tonight so go, right?" ask Ruby.

"So," Thomas passed leaving Ruby.

Ruby did not take Thomas' attitude seriously. He thinks Thomas is badmood and vents his emotions at Ruby.

In the afternoon, there was an incoming message from Ruby's mother. It turned out that they had been in the Netherlands to take care of something that he did not tell Ruby.

Finished calling his mother, Ruby called Thomas because he was ready to leave.

However, before calling, he had already received a chat from Thomas.

"Today it's not so yes. I'm sick," fill that chat.

"Yes dear. What pain?" Ruby was worried.

"Just a little cold" replied Thomas.

After that Ruby replies to the chat and Thomas does not immediately reply to her. Ruby is a little disappointed but understands that her lover's health is more important.

The more days Thomas and Ruby argue more and more. Thomas gets rougher and starts to act cold and even lies to Ruby.

"Ruby.." fill in Thomas' message.

"Yes?" answer Ruby.

"I want to focus on my education. We've got to get here, yes" Thomas said in the message.

Ruby and Thomas argue because Ruby still does not want to break up and finally Thomas gives up. They continue their relationship.

Time goes by very fast. Thomas looked as usual to Ruby. At least when he wants something. And one day Thomas comes to Ruby's house just to do just that. Ruby was willing to do anything to meet Thomas just according to Thomas. And on this occasion Ruby asks if Thomas keeps anything from her. Thomas replied that he was not hiding anything.

"You remember the deal we made to open up to each other?" ask Ruby about Thomas.

"Remember, just calm down" Thomas replied casually by phone.

For several months Ruby survives a toxic relationship with Thomas. Thomas who often lies and secretly messaged with other women who also already have a lover several times happened, he said,but because Ruby is so difficult to let go of Thomas, she desperately tries to maintain the toxic relationship in the hope that there is a miracle that God gives for the relationship they live.

Apparently, God's plan is different. Ruby was shown from the beginning that Thomas was not a good man as he seemed. He is very good at lying and twisting facts. Fed up, Ruby prayed and made a big decision. He did something to prove that what he felt was right.

Aster is the cause of all this. Thomas begins to change as he returns to communicate with Aster. And that day he questioned Aster and Aster complained to Thomas.

Thomas was furious at the time, they had a big fight.

"What are you doing? Why are you asking her like that?" ask Thomas via chat.

"Because you're not being honest with me.

The quarrel through chat lasted a long time until finally Ruby broke off the relationship.

"Fine from now on we have nothing to do anymore" Ruby wrote.

"But remember, I'm not going to be silent about everything you do. You'll see how your life is going" added Ruby.

Thomas then blocked Ruby on all of her social media accounts.

Ruby is looking for ways to get rid of her sadness. He has done a lot but the edges remain chaotic. He was very angry and disappointed with Thomas. Ruby had been nice to him all along, but Thomas was not a good man. At least that's what Ruby's friends in class said. Ruby never gets angry when Thomas cancels a unilateral promise. He understands Thomas' condition that even Ruby does not know the reason Thomas canceled the promise because it is true there was busyness or Thomas lied to him. Ruby never gets angry because of trivial things, she also never codes like most women. Ruby always treated Thomas very well, but Thomas did the opposite. What Ruby has in mind is that if she treats Thomas well, Thomas will automatically try to maintain their relationship because Ruby's treatment should make Thomas comfortable. The opposite is happening. Because Ruby was kind to Thomas, she took advantage of Ruby's kindness because she believed that Ruby would not leave Thomas because she knew Ruby's love for Thomas was great. That guy is really a bad guy. Even Thomas spreads untrue rumors about the breakdown of their relationship to his friends and it spreads so quickly that it damages Ruby's good name.

Though Thomas was having an affair and it was already known by many people, but Thomas defended himself by slandering Ruby. However, fortunately the friends who tried to deceive Thomas did not believe it just like that. They immediately clarified what Thomas told Ruby.

"Hi Ruby, are you busy today?" Reno sent Ruby a message.

"Hi Reno's. It's not too busy, "Ruby replied.

"I want to talk to you for a minute over the phone. Can it?" ask Reno.

"Of course," Ruby called Reno immediately out of curiosity as to what Reno wanted to say.

"Before I apologize for interrupting your time," Reno began the conversation.

"It's okay Reno. Just tell me what you want to say" Ruby said.

"Thomas had a chat yesterday with me and some other friends. Then he said that you guys broke up because you did that with another guy" Reno said.

"How dare he slander me. It was clearly her who was having an affair," Ruby was carried away emotionally.

"For that I asked you," Reno tried to calm Ruby down.

"Reno, thank you for telling me. I'll take care of it. I have a lot of evidence that can expose her rottenness" Ruby and Reno ended their conversation over the phone.

Ruby tries to contact Thomas but Thomas blocks her.

"God will fight for me. Thomas, you will receive the reply" Ruby said to herself.
