Becoming a parent

"Hahahaha, what a good idea, dear" Ruby said.

They spend time together until late at night, with no one to bother them.

"It's night. I'm going home, yeah" Felix said goodbye to Ruby.

"good. See you tomorrow," replied Ruby while walking to take Felix outside the door of Ruby's house.

Felix returns home, and Ruby goes into his room.

"A beautiful day. I'd better rest" Ruby said as she lay down.

Slowly the drowsiness began to attack him. He also fell asleep.

Ruby has been in Holland for a week. He must go home soon because the police need him to help in the kidnapping case that Thomas and himself experienced. That day he decided to spend time with Felix because tomorrow he is not in the Netherlands anymore.

"Good morning" Ruby came to Felix's house.

The door of the house looked open, TV in the living room lit up and many leftovers splattered on the floor.

Of course, Felix is still sleeping.

"Why is the door open like this?" ruby said while waking Felix up.

"Ah, what? That, this morning I went out for a while and went to bed again, "Felix still looks very sleepy.

"Tomorrow I'll go home" Felix just told me that tomorrow he'll be back at his house.

"Huh?! Why so suddenly?" Felix got up from his couch.

"The police need me. I have to go, "Ruby replied briefly.

"When did you know that the police needed you?"

"Last night. I just got the info last night" Ruby answered Felix's question.

"Why didn't you tell me last night that you were coming home? Why suddenly?" Felix is upset that Ruby has suddenly told him of his return.

"I'm sorry. I'm afraid to interrupt the night" Ruby said.

Felix was silent with a pouting face. He was very upset with Ruby.

"Have it, don't get angry," persuaded Ruby.

"Why are you like that?"

"I bought two tickets. Do you want to come?" bargain Ruby.

"Seriously?! Of course I want to accompany you home," Felix immediately packing clothes that he will bring.Not much he brought because at his house there are many clothes belonging to Felix.

"What time is the airport?" ask Felix.

"It's 8 p.m.," replied Ruby.

"Then I went to my parents' house so they wouldn't be surprised. You wanna come?" bring Felix.

"Ah, no. I'm not ready to meet your parents yet" Ruby refused Felix's invitation.

Ruby goes home and rechecks the things she's going to bring home while Felix goes to his parents' house to ask for permission. Although without asking permission, Felix was used to going far, but this time asking permission so that Ruby did not consider him a child who does not respect parents. Actually Felix was lazy to go to his parents' house because Key must have whined asking to come home. So he decided to call his mother and then he had breakfast at a sandwich bar.

Nightfall. Ruby and Felix leave for the airport together by taxi.

Ting..

Ruby phone voice. He immediately opened the incoming message because he thought it was a message related to the case being processed. However, it turns out that message was from Key.

"Your sister sent me a message" Ruby told Felix.

"Hahaha surely he will be angry" Felix said.

Ruby opens and reads the message from Key.

"Sister, I'm very upset. Brother Felix left me home without notifying me" the message read.

"You didn't tell Key that you were coming home? And Key didn't know we were going together?" ask Ruby.

"I won't tell her. He'll definitely whine along. I can't take care of him at home either. I have to work" Felix said.

Ruby replies to the message and says that Felix is with her.

"Sister's coming home too? You two go home?" reply Key.

"What's wrong?" ask Felix by phone.

The brothers had a long argument because Key was forced to come along. A fed-up Ruby immediately snatches her phone from Felix's hands.

"Key, you can't come. Who's gonna take care of you there later? I'm certainly very busy and your brother works, too" Ruby tried to give Key an understanding.

"But I can take care of myself!" snapped Key.

Ruby was quite surprised because Key was being disrespectful to her. Felix also feels bad for Ruby. Ruby took a deep breath and continued their conversation.

"Who dares to yell at me?" answer Ruby on the phone.

Felix seemed to realize Ruby's anger, and he tried to appease her.

"Let me answer" whispered Felix. But Ruby doesn't care what Felix says.

"I just want to come along" said Key.

"If you've followed what do you want to do? No one will accompany you later, you will definitely complain and whine again" replied Ruby.

"Ruby!" snapped Felix.

Ruby was surprised because Felix was snapping at her. Key heard the incident too.

"What's wrong?" ruby asked Felix.

"How dare you talk like that to Key" Felix said.

"Then what should I say? How many times have we explained well but he still whines like a child? Then what should I do if I don't give him advice?" Ruby began to get angry.

Now Ruby and Felix are both emotional.

"But you shouldn't say that!" felix replied in a high tone.

"Who dare you yell at me? Then what am I supposed to do? You spoil him too much. He's a teenager, you should be firm not to treat him like a kid you let me whine all the time. Let him learn to think, until whose house will take care of him? He had to be monitored because of the illness he suffered. At home too she will be lonely and whining again. Why are you even mad at me?" ruby started crying.

He stopped his cab and took his things. Felix tries to prevent and apologize but Ruby still wants to find another taxi so as not to one taxi with Felix.

"I'm sorry. I was too rude, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna act like this to you anymore. I promise you," persuaded Felix.

Ruby doesn't care what Felix says. He was already very angry at that time but Felix still told the taxi driver to go. He managed to prevent Ruby who had taken a little of her stuff to get off the taxi. Key overhears their debate and Ruby realizes that the phone connection between her and Key is still connected. He immediately turned off his phone.

Key immediately sent a message containing an apology. He also understood Ruby's intentions well, he regretted having behaved disrespectfully to Ruby.

Felix clasped Ruby's hand, but Ruby immediately took it off.

"I'm sorry, '" all the way to the airport, Felix kept apologizing. He also deeply regrets his actions to Ruby. It's not worth it like that. Felix realizes that Ruby's intentions are good and he agrees with Ruby's words saying that Felix spoils Key too much. From then on, he was determined to change the way he educated Key. The taxi driver who heard their argument was tense, but Felix realized that.

"Look down, sir. I've been used to making noise with my wife" Felix said.

In Ruby's still irritated heart wondered what Felix meant by admitting himself as a wife, but Ruby kept quiet without giving a response.

"You're married at a pretty young age, aren't you?" ask the taxi driver.

Ruby did not expect that what Felix said would be taken seriously by the taxi driver who drove them.

"Yes. We just got married hahaha," Felix laughed as he continued chatting with the driver. Ruby just fell silent and pretended not to hear.

Moments after the conversation in the taxi ended, they finally arrived at the airport. Felix and Ruby drop off their suitcases and pay a taxi fare.

"Let's go, baby" Felix held Ruby's hand while pulling her suitcase.

"I won't interfere in your affairs anymore" Ruby let go of Felix's grasp and walked over first.

Now Felix knows that Ruby is really angry then he will be very difficult to persuade. Ruby is very rarely angry, and indeed if he is angry make people around him afraid.

"No. I'm thanking you. From you I learned how to educate my true sister. He's been too spoiled all along and it's my fault" Felix said.

"Okay" replied Ruby briefly.

"It seems like you're the ideal mother type" Felix praised.

Ruby just kept quiet hearing Felix's words.

"I'm sure you'll be a great mom later" she added.
