a bad dream

"Wake up! Jesus," Ruby grumbled.

Felix woke up from his sleep and immediately hugged Ruby.

"I had a bad dream" Felix said.

"What dream?" Ruby was curious about the dream that Felix had.

"I dreamt you left me.."

Ruby covered Felix's mouth with her palm, because after she heard a little about what Felix had dreamed of was creepy enough for her.

"Well, that was a bad dream. Forget it," Ruby said.

Somehow that day Ruby felt a little calm, her anger at Felix a little less.

"I want to finish everything now" Ruby said, leaving Felix still in his pajamas.

"In my dream in the morning Ruby also came out of the room exactly like this. Will my dream come true?" Felix talks to himself then he rushes after Ruby.

Ruby is seen walking into Poppy's mother's house, exactly as Felix dreamed.

"This happened in my dreams too. Can I see the future?" Felix spoke to himself.

He follows Ruby to Poppy's mother's house. I don't know what Ruby's gonna do, Felix doesn't know. The most important thing for her right now is Ruby's safety.

"Good morning" Ruby greeted from outside the house. Poppy's mother was enjoying a biscuit with a cup of tea.

Felix was calm to see Ruby's non-aggressive attitude that morning, because as he knew that Ruby did not like Poppy's mother, Ruby did not,but he recalled his dream where he also saw Ruby coming to the house well. Now he changes his mind and feels better Ruby comes in a rage. Felix follows Ruby into the house.

"Good morning. Let's go with me" said Poppy's mother, offering her biscuits.

"It's okay, mom. We can have breakfast later," Felix politely declined the offer.

"We came because we wanted to talk about something. Is..'

"Let's just say, I'm very relaxed" Poppy's mother cut Ruby's words and seemed to have learned that they had come to her house because of urgent business, not because she wanted to be in touch.

Felix was only speechless with curiosity as well as a sense of degdegan because he himself did not know what exactly Ruby wanted to say.

"Tree, do I need help getting rid of it? We've run out of money to stay here" Ruby said.

"You can stay free here. I'll take care of the tree myself" he replied.

"Not only that, we have to go to the city because we have to go to campus. Looks like I'm gonna need some time off this semester" Ruby went back to find an excuse.

"I can help you take care of it. I'll be your guardian and come there" replied Poppy's mother.

In her heart, Ruby was quite astonished why she did not take quick action to get rid of the tree that was blocking the road. He also seems to not allow Felix and Ruby to leave the motel.

"I want to ask you a few things that are quite bothering me," Ruby spoke again.

"Please" replied Poppy's mother casually.

"Where are all the people staying here? These few days feel lonely," asked Ruby.

"They just stayed a little while and came back. All of those people were one family staying at my little motel, so they went home together" explained Poppy's mother.

"Ah, I was told by a guy who was also staying at your motel that you closed this motel then everyone should go" Felix said.

"No. This is my only source of money. If I close the motel where I'm going to get the money," replied Poppy's mother.

Poppy's mother's reason makes sense to both Ruby and Felix. However, they are not so easy to believe the reason because they think there are too many irregularities there.

"And there's something else. To be honest we felt uneasy because there was someone peeking out of the airways," Ruby revealed another complaint.

"Ti.. No," suddenly Poppy's mother was nervous.

As well as Felix, he was surprised by what Ruby said because it was exactly the same as in his dream.

"I'll make sure no one bothers you anymore" said Poppy's mother.

"Where's the access to the top?" Ruby curious.

"Access entry is in a locked room. And only me and the handyman I ordered to board knew" he replied.

"That's all I want to say. And,oh yeah. Poppy, please give her advice not to tease a man who already has a lover" Ruby said before she and Felix left.

"As I suspected. I won't fall into his trap" Ruby said.
