Night time

Eventually Felix and Ruby set foot on their homeland. Ruby and Felix turn on their phones. Spam chat from Key logged into their phone. Felix tells Key that they have arrived.

"You don't want to return the message?" felix asks when he sees Ruby ignoring Key's message.

"I'm tired" replied Ruby.

They had previously booked a hotel because it was not possible to go straight home after 24 hours of travel.

They took a taxi to the hotel they had booked.

The wall clock in their room showed at 3 a.m. Ruby fell asleep next to Felix. Ruby put a boundary between them by using a bolster pillow. Because they only stayed overnight, they only booked one room.

Felix couldn't sleep at all. This time he felt that Ruby was really mad at him. Indeed, everyone does not like to be yelled at. Especially if you don't make mistakes. He regretted having messed up his moment of togetherness with Ruby. Felix got rid of the bolster pillow that was the barrier between them. He looked at Ruby's sleeping face.

Felix read the messages Key sent back. There was one message that was not answered.

"You guys dating?" ask Key on the message.

"Just pretend," Felix replied.

He falls asleep next to Ruby.

At 11 p.m., they woke up hearing Felix's phone ring. There was a phone call coming in from Key.

"What do you mean pretend?" Key snapped at Felix while Ruby knew where they were going and pretended not to care but listened.

Ruby pulled the blanket up to the limit of her nose, then she eavesdropped on Felix and Key's conversation.

"I helped Ruby to keep Andrew from bothering her. By pretending to be his girlfriend, Andrew won't bother Ruby anymore" Felix said by phone.

Ruby nodded in agreement with Felix's words even though Felix was unaware of them.

"You don't play with him. She's a good girl" Key told Felix.

Ruby heard clearly their conversation because Felix activated the speaker while on the phone. Ruby felt Felix deliberately did that to get Ruby to hear their conversation.

"Have you? Let's get ready to go home" Ruby told Felix.

They are currently in a hotel close to the airport. And the plan from the hotel they will leave for their respective homes. The distance of Felix's house from the airport only takes 2 hours by car while Ruby had to take a plane again because her house was outside the city.

Ruby turned to the window, a dark cloud that morning.

"Well, my feelings aren't good. It looks like it's going to be a storm" Ruby said.

The last few days there have been frequent storms, and many flights have been canceled. Ruby told Felix to pack quickly so as not to get caught in a storm on the way home later.

"No. I'm not going home. I just want to be with you" said Felix, who was back in bed.

"I can do it myself" replied Ruby.

"My feeling is not good either. But not about the storm, but about you" Felix said.

Ruby was silent and did not impose Felix's will.

"That means we'll stay one more night. I want to take care of the administration" said Felix who exited the room with a disheveled look.

"What the fuck is he," Ruby ignored Felix's behavior and took a morning shower.

After coming out of the bathroom, breakfast was available in their room. Felix was busy watching the news about the weather forecast and sure enough, a storm occurred that day and the entire flight was delayed.

"When the next flight is," Ruby checked the online site to buy more tickets because she decided to stay longer there. So, he canceled his departure plan today and let his plane ticket just burn.

"Ticket let me handle it later. It's free to search now, there's no signal" Felix said.

 Hearing Felix's words, Ruby was a little relieved. It doesn't have to worry about ticket problems anymore.

"Why did I see you sleeping next to me this morning?" ruby asked Felix.

"Are we not sleeping in bed?" Felix asked Ruby.

"I mean, last night I gave a pillow bolster limit," said Ruby.

"I didn't touch you either. Just looking at your face," Felix defended himself for being caught moving the line that Ruby had created.

Ruby was speechless staring at the wet window due to the rainstorm. He recalled his memories with Thomas when the kidnapping happened. Thomas always tries to protect her, always beside Ruby. There are many things they do together. Those memories Ruby could never forget. Felix silently watched Ruby. Ruby is starting to shed tears. Felix knows that the memory resurfaced in Ruby's memory because Ruby had told him in detail about the kidnapping incident, how the situation there was and what they were doing.

"Hey, why?" Felix approaches Ruby.

"No. It's okay," Ruby immediately wiped her tears.

"Lied" Felix replied.

"That's it. I'll forget about it later" Ruby tried to calm herself down.

"There I am," Felix accompanies Ruby who eventually falls asleep.

The storm continued until noon. Felix, who also fell asleep, woke up first. Ruby was still sound asleep beside him.

"It seems like I really like this woman," Felix said as he stared at the sleeping Ruby.

Ruby's hand accidentally hit Felix's cheek. He woke up to the sound of Felix in pain.

"Ah, forgive me," Ruby held Felix's cheek.

"Hehe," Felix held Ruby's hand that was touching her cheek.

"What?"

"Actually it doesn't hurt hahaha," Felix intentionally yells for Ruby to wake up.

"Where's the lunch?" taya Ruby's.

"What do you mean you just woke up asking me for lunch?"

"Say you're my husband" joked Ruby.

"Hahaha okay. What do you want to eat? Come on down," Felix invited Ruby to eat at the restaurant below.

"Come on!" ruby answered with passion.

They had lunch together. Spend time with growing feelings.

"Now what?" ask Felix.

"No idea" Ruby replied with a laugh.

"Where do I know, you're the one who wants to come" replied Ruby.

"Yes already. I'm staying at your house, yeah," Felix could've rented a hotel or a temporary place to stay,but because the purpose he came with Ruby was to entertain Ruby then he ventured to ask permission to stay at his home.

"Actually it is okay. You'll sleep on top" replied Ruby.

Now they just have to take care of their return ticket.

The long-awaited day arrives. They're ready to go to Ruby's house. They were at the airport early in the morning and had breakfast. It didn't take them long to reach the town where Ruby lived. Only about 1 hour of flight they managed to arrive safely.

"Now we're taking a taxi. It's only 30 minutes from here to my house" Ruby said.

"Well, look for a taxi first" Felix asked.

They look for taxis around the airport to drive them to Ruby's house. At around 3 pm they arrived at Ruby's residence. Don't forget Felix told Key.

Felix's phone rang waiting for his phone call to be picked up by Key.

"Hello," Key picked up the phone.

"I'm already at Ruby's house" Felix told his sister.

"Why are you with Ruby? Said you were coming home?" Key showed signs of getting angry.

He must have wanted to go to Ruby's house. In the area where Ruby lives is famous for the many good tourist attractions.

"Yes how. It's out of my control. My wife asked for company" Felix said, holding back a laugh.

"You guys eloped?!" yell Key.

Ruby and Felix's laughter broke upon hearing Key's words. Felix then explains what really happened and at the end of it Key whines like a child.

"Good, the chat ends. Now let's go" Felix.

"Where are you? We just arrived" Ruby said.

"Come on, 'ayo go, '" now it's Felix's turn to whine like a child.

"Okay, but eat first. I'll cook, "Ruby replied.

Ruby bought groceries at a supermarket near her home. Just by walking for 5 minutes he got there and bought the materials he needed.

"Why is it new to look? Where the hell is that?" ask the security guard there.

"I just got back from Holland, sir," replied Ruby.

Ruby then returned home after greeting some people who asked about her condition. The news of Ruby's kidnapping has spread there. It was only fitting that when Ruby walked to the supermarket or walked home, people noticed her.

Ruby arrived home. Looks like some people are in Ruby's house. It turned out to be Ruby's neighbors.

"Oh, auntie!" exciting Ruby.

"Where have you been? How are you?" ask Eva's aunt who is Ruby's close neighbor.

"I just came from Holland. I went to the supermarket earlier" Ruby replied, showing her the groceries.

Felix was just dumbfounded because he didn't know what to do in the crowd. Ruby's neighbors one by one came to Ruby's house. They asked Ruby how it happened.

"Previously introduce. This is my friend Felix. He's from out of town" Ruby said, introducing Felix.

"Hello. Actually I'm Ruby's lover" Felix said.

Everyone laughed at Felix's slightly funny behavior. Ruby glanced at Felix as if to give the code.

"Wasn't your boyfriend at the time of the incident, not this one?" goda's aunt Eva.

"Hm, we've actually broken up" Ruby gave a clarification.

Because Felix already looked hungry, Ruby immediately cooked for him while Felix chatted with Ruby's neighbors who one by one went home to Eva's remaining aunt.

Finally, Eva's aunt came home and Felix ate spagethii made by Ruby.

The sound of crickets accompanied their silent night. Without turning on the TV or playing on the phone, they talked a lot. About the problems they have been through.

"When will our contract end?" ask Felix.

"Either. It's up to you" replied Ruby.

"All right, until next month. I'm planning on moving college, what do you think?" Felix asked Ruby's opinion.

"What's the reason you moved?"

"Just want. There is no particular reason" Felix replied.

"The campus where you went to college has been very good, your campus is international, right? I don't think you need to move" Ruby expressed her opinion.

"You don't want to be away from me, do you?" felix Goda.

"That's just my opinion. If you want to move, go ahead" Ruby denies that she doesn't want to be away from Felix.

"So your feelings are, as long as our fake relationship is going," Felix said.

"meaning?"

"Don't let your heart really like me" she replied.

"Why indeed?" Ruby doesn't understand.

"I'm not a good man. I'm a drunk, I like to smoke. And I know from Key that your ideal type is not a guy like me" he explained.

"Why are you asking her my ideal type of man?" Ruby curious.

"It's just a fad because I've run out of chat topics with him, and when I asked about you Key was immediately excited again" Felix explained.

"Actually, I do have the ideal type of man. But all this time I've never dated a guy that suits my type. So I've decided to find a man who makes me feel comfortable, without thinking about the ideal type" Ruby explained the changes she had set. After parting ways with Thomas, Ruby is more selective. Although physically the man who approached her was the ideal type, but if Ruby did not feel suitable for her personality, Ruby would immediately refuse.

"So, from my personality do I fall within the ideal criteria for you?" ask Felix.

Ruby was unable to answer, it turns out Felix deliberately trapped him with the chat.
