End Journeys
Game Over?

It's been two days since the extension of the lease and the quarrel that made Felix and Ruby's relationship worse. Felix grew tired of Ruby's cold demeanor, and she kept quiet more and more in order to think calmly. He knew this was all because of the fatal mistake he made, he had no problem with Ruby who inhabited him. She just doesn't want Ruby to leave.

"I beg your pardon" Felix told Ruby, who has never looked at Felix since. Apology is the word Felix says every morning, day until night. He really makes his girlfriend angry.

"Well, it's time we spoke," that day Ruby began to melt with the persistence of Felix apologizing. It became a light in the darkness that Felix faced. He was happy because there was finally a chance to make up with the woman he loved so much.

"I forgive you" Ruby said with her flat face without a smile. Hearing that Felix was very happy. He immediately hugged his girlfriend.

"Don't touch me from today," Ruby pushed Felix gently away from hugging him.

"Why baby?" Felix is worried.

"I forgive you, but I can't continue this relationship" replied Ruby.

"Honey.." now Felix can no longer hold back his grief. He really couldn't stop her crying. Usually he was just glazed but that day he was really crying.

"I was wrong. We're formalizing the relationship too soon" Ruby patted Felix on the shoulder.

"You can be angry, you don't have to forgive me. I don't mind your attitude like before we talk, you can ignore me, I won't touch you, you don't have to look at me or talk to me. But I don't want our relationship to end. I beg you," Felix clasped Ruby's hands together and bowed, begging Ruby to change her mind.

At the door it turns out Poppy saw the incident. He initially intended to bring Ruby lunch because Felix ordered to bring food to the room because from then on he decided he would not leave the room without Ruby.

Poppy came in and put the food on the small table because the higher table was still full of food. Ruby didn't touch the food at all because she knew it was made by Poppy.

"Ruby, I was wrong" Poppy approached Ruby and Felix.

"Go from here!" exciting Ruby.

"I teased him. I'm sorry," Poppy still won't leave.

This made Ruby even more angry.

"Don't be so bad you went into the room I rented, '" replied Ruby.

Felix just silently let Ruby vent her anger on Poppy because all this time her anger towards Felix that Ruby managed to get out.

"I will do anything, but I don't want your relationship to end because of my fault" Poppy said.

"You are guilty but this man also takes your temptations for granted. He obviously hurt me more" Ruby said, pointing at Felix.

Ruby's anger peaked again. Even now Ruby is no longer willing to mention the names Felix and Poppy. Hearing the commotion, a thick-bodied man walked into Ruby's room. He tried to get Poppy out of the room.

Felix just kept quiet. He realized that he had broken his lover's heart. A very angry Ruby picks up her phone and is seen contacting someone.

"Hi, how are you?" the voice of the man on Ruby's phone. Ruby seemed to not care about the feelings of her lover who heard Ruby call the man first. Usually Ruby never does anything like that, if there is a need to call a man usually Ruby asks permission first to Felix even though Felix never told Ruby to do that. Ruby does appreciate her partner very much, but if once her partner makes a fatal mistake then it is very long for Ruby to be able to forgive.

"I wasn't home for a long time" Ruby began the conversation.

"Where are you?" ask the man.

"Want me to pick it up? But, us? Who are you with?" ask Ruby's friend.

"I'm with a friend. You don't have to pick me up, Thomas," Ruby said.

"Yes, tomorrow we connect again" Ruby turned off her phone before Thomas answered.

Felix's feelings were mixed at the time. First, because Ruby said with a friend, not her lover. Felix felt really not considered anymore. Second, because Ruby called her ex-boyfriend who had hurt her at a time like this. Felix was silent, he knew it was all because of a mistake he made. He knows Ruby deliberately made Felix angry and agreed to end this relationship. At least that's what Felix's head is in.

"Whatever you're gonna do. I still don't want this relationship to end" Felix lay next to Ruby who was now lying on the bed.

"It's up to you" replied Ruby.

There is a glimmer of hope for Felix, because Ruby is no longer forced to end the relationship.

The day passed so quickly. The sky was getting dark because it was late afternoon. The sky was clouded by thick black clouds. Lightning struck and the roar of the sky rang out loudly, but the rainwater spots had yet to fall. The temperature felt very cold, even though the motel did not provide AC.

"It looks like today we have to share a blanket" said Felix, who was cold because Ruby was alone using the blanket in the room.

"Just ask there" replied Ruby.

"No way!" Felix got into the blanket Ruby was wearing. Now Felix's position is facing Ruby while Ruby turns her back.

"You haven't eaten since morning. I'll cook, will you eat?" persuade Felix.

"Not hungry" replied Ruby.

"The anger will be on, baby" Felix got up and walked to the door. But he stopped.

"You just come with me, so there's no misunderstanding" Felix asked.

"Lazy," Ruby answered Felix's question briefly.

Felix got out of the room and returned quickly. He didn't look like the one who had just finished cooking.

"I've asked to bring the stove and materials here. I'll cook in the room" Felix said.

"You pay for everything yourself. I don't want to eat" Ruby closed her eyes and fell asleep for a while.

Felix started cooking. It heats the oil and sautees onions and chili. The scent of sauteed onions and chili peppers pierced Ruby's nose. He woke up from his sleep.

"You really cook here?" Ruby got up from her bed.

"It's important you eat. I cooked as much as I could," Felix replied while pitting the ingredients in the frying pan. I don't know what Felix's cooking, Ruby doesn't care. But little by little he began to melt, but he held the principle of no apology for those who betrayed him.

"Maybe it's our last day together" Ruby said.
