26. Work Starts to Fumble

After releasing Ariel's departure, Sinta began to prepare breakfast for Elin. He brought bread with jam, orange juice and his own homemade chicken porridge. Once in the room, Elin was already curled up in her bed with a blanket over her body.

"El, are you sleeping again?" ask Sinta while putting the tray containing food on the nightstand. He sat down next to Elin and patted her on the back.

"Ehm, I'm sleepy, ma'am," replied Elin. He nodded to gather his consciousness. "Sister Ariel's gone, Ma'am?"

"Udah. Half an hour ago" replied Sinta.

Elin looked at Sinta disappointed. So, Ariel actually left without seeing her? He was half dead, he thought.

"You eat first, this I also make porridge. Do not forget to take vitamins from his doctor," said Sinta. He checked the vitamin bottle in Elin's nightstand drawer. "You drink, right?"

"Yes, Mother. Take it easy" said Elin. He sat himself down and took a cell phone. "This boy I'll eat, I want to call Mr. Galang first. I haven't been authorized yet."

"Oh, yeah. You eat when you are ready to call. Although not delicious, you should try to eat the baby's cassian," said Sinta.

"It can't be, El. It was scheduled. Are you really sick?"

"Yes, Sir. Can I miss this day, sir? Tomorrow I will come" said Elin, trying to negotiate.

"Yes it's up to you. You just take a break. But tomorrow you have to come in. You are the one who should choose who is the same actor who should be included in our film," said Galang.

"Yes, Sir. I get it," said Elin quickly. "I'm a day's clearance, sir."

Elin took a deep breath after hanging up the phone. Right, he still had a long line of work to complete. If he has passed the casting stage, script reading and shooting, he can resign. The film will be produced.

Elin straightened herself and started eating, she did not want to be this weak just because she was pregnant, she thought to herself. However, what he ate was really not up to expectations. "I don't know, he said dizzy," replied Galang. "Let me take him to the clinic, you get him."

"What's the audition, sir?" ask Susi.
