68. Elin Tightly Guarded

Elin looked at Sinta nyalang. He did not accept the humiliation inflicted on him repeatedly by the woman who had the status of the first wife of her husband.

"I'm not a cheap woman" she said in an exasperated tone. He rubbed his hand that was exposed to soapy foam onto his shirt without caring he became dirty. "I'm not a man's husband. And I am also the legitimate wife of Brother Ariel. Why am I being cheap?"

"Because you're just a paid woman. You rented your womb!"

"Those who want me to make up for your dead baby. You two made this drama!" Elin approached Sinta who was now frozen where she stood. "I'm just stuck between you. It's not my fault that I fell in love with Ariel. I ... can defend myself in front of Mama if one day Mama finds out."

Sinta blinked looking at the resolute face of Elin in front of her. He did not know Elin bis turned this brave when before Elin was a weak girl in his eyes.

"What would you do if you knew you two had framed me, paid me for this baby? Mama will know Sinta is not perfect as a daughter-in-law. Sinta's mother can not love the heir to the family Brother," said Elin without caring about the change of Sinta's facial water. "Bak Sinta might be kicked out by Mama, but me? Mama loved me so much and maybe, Mama will be able to forgive me. Anyway ... I'm pregnant with Mama's granddaughter. I could even get pregnant again later."

Without caring about Sinta's fierce gaze, Elin immediately passed. He half ran up the stairs and shut the door of his room tightly. He was really surprised by Sinta's actions as well as Sinta's remarks about her mother.

Well, actually Elin was so scared that she got caught. He's not sure that he can get a defense from his mother. For Maria, Ariel is the perfect person and should get the perfect life as well. So, even if Ariel wanted it, it wouldn't work.

"Mom can't know," he murmured.

Elin just did not want to be intimidated in front of Sinta, but she was really afraid that one day all this would be revealed in front of her mother. He did not want to be weak and could be played by Sinta. Of course, just like her Sinta was also afraid if she was found not to have a uterus anymore. The next day, Elin woke up very early because she went straight to sleep after arguing with Sinta in the kitchen. He wasn't sure, should he tell Ariel that Sinta was being rude to him last night, or could he just let it go? Elin's feelings raged.

"I'm going to clean up last night" he said. After all, he was not alone with Sinta today, he thought. There's Budhe Sarti at home too. So, he had nothing to fear Sinta would be rude to him.

Elin immediately took a shower and then performed the morning prayer service. She prayed a lot for her baby who is now starting to feel more wriggling in her stomach. 18 weeks, she will definitely grow up soon, Elin thought in her heart.

"Who are they?" elin murmured as he opened the window and looked into the garden from the balcony. There are 2 men in black and maroon shirts below. He's never seen them before and it's too early for someone to see.

"What are Ariel's people?" Elin could only guess, but she had no idea what they both meant in this house.

Elin then realized, she clearly remembered Ariel had the intention to keep her tighter and not let her out of the house. Are they new guards? He really didn't have a chance to get out?

Elin patted her hair with rage. He decided to go into his room and sit in his chair. His heart was pounding uncomfortably due to the strange feeling that plagued him. It's locked. He was not given a chance to come out again, thought Elin.

Elin laughed bitterly, because of his love for Ariel, he could defend the man even though he still did not know the true heart of Ariel. However, he remembered, he was only used by the couple Ariel and Sinta. It's too late to regret it now. He only hoped, Ariel really had sincere feelings for him someday.

Ariel knocks on the door of Elin's room and bursts in. He was already prepared with the shirt and suit he had folded on his arm. He wanted to see Elin before coming down for breakfast together.

"Are you awake, El?" ask Ariel.

"Udah, Brother. I woke up from that," replied Elin as she stood up from her seat. "Would you like to work today?"

"Ehm. You if you want to snack later call or chat me yes. I bought it in the afternoon" said Ariel.

Elin nodded slowly. He was still uncomfortable with the guards outside the house. "Sir, why are those people downstairs?"

"Ah, Miko and Marcus. They're my people, just calm down" said Ariel.

"Why is it here? I won't run away" said Elin.

"I just want you to be safe. And this house also can not be any interference from the outside. So, I asked them to stand guard," said Ariel. He approached Elin and hugged her because he did not want Elin to think badly.

Elin returned Ariel's warm embrace and said, "Son didn't know I didn't like being guarded like that."

"I know," Ariel chuckled. Since childhood, both of their parents were very protective, especially on Gladis. So, their parents would hire a bodyguard to guard Gladis while Elin, he did not want to be followed by the guard men.

"Therefore, don't be more," grumbled Elin protesting. He looked up to see Ariel's face. "I won't run away, promise."

"I'm afraid you have the intention of leaving the house again one day" said Ariel. He saw Elin thawing, so he rubbed slowly on the top of Elin's head. "I don't want to lose you, El. I was so confused when you left. I'm worried."

"Nobody lied, right?" ask Elin.

"No, why lie?" Ariel cupped Elin's cheeks now while Elin's two arms were still coiled around her waist. "I don't want to lose you and my baby."

"I can go out once in a while, right?" elin asked doubtfully.

"Of course. If you want to go, you can go with me. Okay?"

Elin nodded slowly, though she knew Ariel's guard was somewhat uncomfortable.

"Yes, let's go down to breakfast" said Ariel. He landed a kiss on Elin's lips once and looked at Elin's adorable face. I don't know since when, Ariel pounded every time Elin looked at her like this. He didn't know, he hired the guard to prevent Elin from taking the baby away or he really didn't want Elin to leave.

However, Ariel was certain of one thing. When he kissed Elin's lips again that morning, he knew, he could no longer see Elin leave him.
