83. The surprise!

Elin smelled the smell of cake as she went downstairs. However, this time he smelled a very pleasant aroma instead of a very high aroma like this afternoon. Elin just guessed, Sinta might remake the cake for Ariel.

Well, Ariel's coming home soon. It won't be an hour since Ariel just sent a message that she's on her way home sooner. So while Sinta was still struggling in the kitchen, Elin took a bath and changed her clothes as neat as possible to welcome Ariel.

Elin sat on the sofa, opening her phone to read some articles. He turned to the kitchen and saw Sinta just coming out of there. Sinta had changed the clothes she was wearing this afternoon, even though Sinta had not taken a shower in the afternoon.

"What are you doing here?" ask Sinta. Actually Sinta is more happy if he welcomes Ariel's return. Ariel used to hug and kiss her when she came home from work. But now, it's like a competition. Who Ariel first met at the door, then he will get the prize.

"I'm just sitting around" said Elin. He did not know if Ariel also sent a message to Sinta that he would come home soon or not. "Sinta's mom take a shower first."

Sinta snorted as she had to yield to Elin this afternoon. He was still struggling with some cream and flour on his face and hands. Taking a shower is the best advice.

Before long, when Sinta came down again after taking a bath, she heard the sound of bells clinking. Because in the afternoon the guards came home, they would no longer be in front of the house. "Elin, you .. why did you get pregnant?" ask Maria in surprise.

Elin touched her stomach in shock. He retreated back when suddenly Sinta approached. Just like Elin, he was so shocked to see the in-laws coming uninvited and unannounced.

Maria now looked at Sinta's slender body. She turned her back because it should be a big belly in Sinta's body instead of her daughter..

"What does all this mean? Didn't you say ... You're going to give birth to your granddaughter soon?" maria asked confused. "Why is Elin pregnant?"

Elin back down. He felt his stomach harden at this moment. She may be too shocked that the baby is worried. "Mama ... actually ...."

Elin and Sinta exchanged looks. Sinta had already cried for fear that she would be removed from this family if Maria knew she was a disabled woman. While Elin clearly wondered in her heart why her mother could appear suddenly.

"Mom ask you guys!" hardik Mary. "Where's Ariel? Why...why are there lies here?"

"Mama sit down first" said Sinta with a huff.

Elin shook her head when she just said that it was Ariel's baby. But it was betrayal. He will not get blessing. She believes her mother would be more upset if she knew she was pregnant with Ariel's child than she was pregnant with any other boy.

"Mom sit down first, come on," said Sinta who had lifted in Maria's bag. From outside, Sinta could hear the roar of Ariel's car. "Mas Ariel's back. We'll talk together."

"Mama deliberately returned to Indonesia sooner to welcome Mama's granddaughter," Maria said in a bitter tone. He pointed towards Sinta. "You said this month your granddaughter will be born, but .. Why is Sinta's stomach flat? Was the baby born or .. are you just lying?"

"Mama calm down, don't scream" Ariel said, embracing her mother's shoulder.

"Quiet down? Your sister is even pregnant! Who's pregnant with her child?" maria asked with a stern look towards Elin.

Ariel pulled her mother's arm which pointed towards Elin. Clearly, Elin instantly trembled at their mother's question. "Ma, can I explain?"

"What do you want to explain? You hide your sister who is pregnant and you lie to Mama if you will soon have children. Your wife ... she's not pregnant! You lied when Mama came for Mama's grandchildren!"

"Yes, Ma. I'm .. I'm not lying" said Ariel. He looked at his two wives in turn. Sinta shook her head loudly because she did not want to lose to Elin. She was afraid that she would be hated by her parents-in-law more and perhaps Elin would be accepted for having a baby.

"No lie? Then, why does Sinta's stomach deflate so? Where's Mama's granddaughter?" maria asked confused.

Ariel swallowed hard. He took a deep breath and said, "I said .. Mama's granddaughter was born, that's right, Ma. I'm not lying. But ... The baby was not born to Sinta. Elin's gonna give birth to my baby."
