Giving Birth to My Brother

Giving Birth to My Brother
61. Persuading Elin Home

"I had to" said Elin. He scoops up the ice cream and eats it. "I need a reason to resign. Mr. Galang does not want me to leave the company so. That's why I'm honest that I'm married and pregnant."

Ariel took a deep breath. He was suddenly upset because he did not want anyone to smell something strange between him and Elin.

"What if Galang is suspicious?" ask Ariel. "What if one day Galang asked you, where is the baby you bear?"

Elin turned to look at Ariel who looked annoyed. "I can say .. the baby didn't survive or ...."

"You have an ugly prayer for my baby?" ask Ariel again. Irritated, he began to eat his ice cream. "Anyways, don't get you involved with Galang anymore. You go home and don't go anywhere else. Your pregnancy is a secret."

"I don't want to go home" said Elin scowling. "I can't see Brother Sinta."

Ariel just shook her head slowly. He had to figure out a way for Elin to go home with him. He also could not linger on the island or Sinta would languish more.

"But if you stay apart, it's very risky, El." Ariel looked at Elin expectantly. He held Elin's hand in the hope that Elin would obey him.

"I'm very sick if I have to see Brother Sinta's affectionate brother," said Elin honestly.

"I'll be a fair husband to you. I promise," persuaded Ariel.

Elin threw away her face. Can he accept this? He must share Ariel with the greatest possibility, Ariel will still lean towards Sinta. What if Sinta is angry with him? What if Sinta hates her more?

"I don't want to go home today" said Elin.

"OKAY. We still got last night here. Tomorrow morning we can go home" Ariel said, tightening her grip.

Elin. Well, he still had time last night to be with Ariel, to sleep with her in the same room and bed. It made Elin so curious.

"If I go home .. does Brother want to sleep in my room?" ask Elin.

Ariel raised her eyebrows. "Maybe once in a while" he answered hesitantly.

Elin grunts. He knew that, Ariel would not have the heart and body if there was Sinta. After all, she only had 5 months left to become Ariel's wife.

"I'll go if I give birth" Elin told Ariel. He wanted to know how Ariel would react if he said he would leave Ariel and Sinta's life.

"Why? Where to?" ariel was surprised.

Elin shrugged her shoulders. He still enjoys the 3 flavored ice cream he has in his bowl even though this talk makes him rather tasteless.

"Don't go" Ariel said later.

"I can't stay" said Elin Pilu. "Where can I stay? I will not be able to squirm Brother Sinta and the baby. If I stay in your house .. This baby, how does he call me? Aunty?"

"You can treat the baby as your nephew. We can take care of the baby together" Ariel assured.

Elin laughed bitterly. "This is my son, not my nephew, brother!"

Irritated, Elin stood up. He left his ice cream, which was left quite a lot, and then walked back to his motel. He didn't know why he was so emotional talking about the baby. In fact, Elin also thought this would be easy. He just needs to get married, get pregnant, give birth and be done.

But the truth is not so. This morning when Elin took a bath, she felt a slight twitch in her stomach. He was shocked to think he was just hungry, but the movement was so smooth and repeated.

How could he regard the baby growing on his stomach as his own nephew? He wouldn't even be allowed to call her a child. She will never be called a mother by the baby.

If it had to be, Elin would rather go from the life of Ariel and Sinta. She would not be able to see them happy with her baby. That's why Elin planned to leave after she gave birth and gave them the baby.

"Elin, wait!" call Ariel and run after Elin. He pulled Elin's hand hard. "Don't do this. You remember, we have a deal."

"I know, I didn't forget" Elin said firmly. He brushed off Ariel's hand that was wrapped around her wrist. "I'll leave after I give this baby to you. Don'worry. But, I will never appear again in front of Brother or Sister Sinta, or this baby."

"No, El. I'm sorry," said Ariel confusedly. He considered in his heart that many of the content of their covenant articles were really detrimental to Elin. They've even broken a lot of the deal since last night they made love again. Maybe, it's okay if he changes the contents. "You can think of the baby as your child. I promise."

"But she won't call me mother!" hardik Elin's. He rubbed his wet cheek and walked back. Ariel followed behind him. "I want to be alone, plis."

"I don't want you to be alone" Ariel said, reaching Elin's hand. Unfortunately, Elin did not want to be touched by Ariel. He immediately pulled his hand to the front of his chest and walked faster.

Ariel still followed Elin in frustration. She had her hair restored several times while walking to the motel. He knew Elin needed a lot of time, maybe they could talk later. However, he was afraid that it would make Elin even more hurt. He also had to think of a way for Elin to go home with him tomorrow morning.

"I want to sleep" Elin said as soon as they arrived at the room. Elin, who was very upset, was suddenly nervous because she was alone with Ariel in this bathroom.

"Okay, you're sleeping. We'll talk later if you feel better" Ariel said.

Elin laughed bitterly. Feel better? How could? Thought in the heart. He tried not to care and lay down with the blanket he pulled over his body. He had just closed his eyes when Ariel joined him on the bed and he felt Ariel's arms curled around his body.

Elin turned her head until she could see Ariel. "I thought he was moving" he whispered.

"He's getting bigger" murmured Ariel.

"So don't know I've never known real parents, who they are, where they are now and where they come from. I never know" Elin said with tears on her face. "Should this baby? She won't know who her real mother is?"

Ariel wiped Elin's tears gently. Guilt ran through his heart for a moment. She lost her precious baby. And now what does he do? Separating a baby from its own mother? Why did he choose Elin? Wh why? He should have chosen another woman he had to sacrifice instead of his own adopted sister.

"I don't want to go home, brother."
