38. Sinta Is Sick

Elin picked up her phone that was on the table. He sought Gladis' contact because he wanted to ask about his diary that was suddenly in Sinta's hands. Elin almost pressed the call button, but he canceled it because he was not sure whether the Gladis in France was awake or not.

Elin: You sleeping?

Elin: I want to ask you something.

Elin sat back in her chair. He looked at the laptop screen while waiting for a reply from Gladis. He has sent a letter of resignation to Galang. He won't be able to work again from now on.

Weakly, Sinta lay on the bed. She cried bitterly because she knew there was another woman who loved her husband so much. She was even pregnant with the seeds of her husband. "You must be tired, sleep. I just came home, said Budhe Sarti you do not want to eat lunch and sleep in the room," said Ariel. "I took the fever medicine."

Sinta just nodded. He waited a few minutes for Ariel to return with a tray of porridge, water and medicine. Patiently, Ariel helped Sinta sit down. He fed Sinta a few spoons of porridge and helped her take medicine.

"Why are you sick like this?" ariel was worried. "Are we going to the hospital?"

Sinta shook her head slowly. "No, Mas. I've only had a lot of thoughts lately."

"What did you think until you fell like this?" ask Ariel.
