Chapter 23: The Unlucky Casey

"Hi James .. When did you get home?" Erika shouted from her kitchen. James and the Clouds are cleaning Bunny's house while playing. Whenever there is a chance, James does prefer to spend time with the Clouds to strengthen their bond. Sometimes, James has a fear that the Clouds know he's not the real father. He did not want to lose his most precious treasure.

"Hi, Er. Earlier morning. Are you having guests?"

"Yes. Comeoverhere. We had lunch together. Keyla? I waited for you last night to eat."

"Sorry, Erica. I was too tired last night."

"alright. What matters is that we eat together today. Look, I've prepared it."

I was actually reluctant to go to Erika's house, but James and the clouds hurriedly washed their hands and jumped the fence. While I pretended to pick tomatoes that were already red.

"James, it's Steve. Steve it's James. Her husband Keyla." Erika introduced the two men who were both handsome, both had a stocky body, and were both men who were in my life. I put my ears wide so I could hear what they were talking about. Of course I'm not eavesdropping. Erika's voice was loud when her body was tiny.

"Are you gonna stay here a long time, Steve?"

"Yes. Maybe until I find my wife." They chatted while turning back the roasted chicken. The smell made my stomach rumble.

"Where is your wife if I may know?"

"She seems to be angry with me. And snatch."

"Hahaha ..your wife is very creative. To go abroad." James's Laughter is Stabbed by Anthony. "Eh, is that really Steve? You never told me about your wife?" Erika interrupted. Bummer. For the first time I heard the story of the house of Antony.

"He has a lot of ideas. That's why until 5 years have passed I haven't found him."

"Wow. Did he go with the guy

another?"

"Eitherway. Maybe I knew I'd met him. Did your wife not eat?"

"Come, Key. Help me set up a little picnic." Erika did not want to lose and her voice was loud which pulled me forcibly into a strange atmosphere. One was my husband, the other my future husband.

As usual, I jumped the fence. Then wash the tomatoes and put them on the pring that Erika has provided.

"Key, come here." James told me to come closer and I complied. "Have you met him?" continued James. I nodded and wrapped my hands around James' waist for the first time. The man who was wearing shorts and sleeveless t-shirt was instantly soft-headed. While there was a pair of eyes observing.

"Is the chicken ripe, James?"

"It looks like it's already." James picked up a plate nearby and put down a chicken pot. "Is your chicken ripe, Steve?"

"Ah, I don't know. I'm not very good at cooking. Usually my wife cooks." James saw the chickens. Throw it back for a while and lift it up.

We sat in a circle on the mat. James to my left, the Cloud to my right followed by Antony and Erika. I put the white rice and grilled chicken I had loaded onto the Cloud plate. He ate it with gourmand. "Do you like it, Prince?" Clouds nod. "James, eat it" I said, taking rice and a piece of thigh. "Do you want some sambal?"

"Can."

I put a spoonful of sambal on his plate. James ate with his hands. And occasionally sip her fingers covered in herbs.

"Erika. Do you want to try?" I thrust the letuce I filled with chicken, cucumber and sambal.

"It's so good, Key. I feel like I'm in Indonesia" Erika said after stuffing a pack of lettuce into her mouth. A pair of eyes were watching me. Maybe he hoped I would offer him some food. But I don't want to do it. "Can I try it?" Anthony pointed to lettuce in front of me. "certain. Take as much as you want." His long hands grabbed the plate and took some lettuce.

"Do you like it, Steve?" ask her best friend.

"Yes. It's so good." He answered briefly to see me. "Like my wife's cooking," he continued, which suddenly made our lunch awkward and silent for a moment. Only the sound of plates and spoons cloud made a sound.

"What exactly is your purpose here?" I half whispered when we finished lunch. Antonius was silent while folding the mat. "Do you know I'm here?" He's quiet again. "You never change. Selfish and always thinking of yourself." I left him and caught up with the others inside the house. They were enjoying afternoon tea while watching television.

"I am selfish. That's why I'm sorry" Antonius said before I left and I chose not to hear it.
