Chapter 42: Dinner

After Lunny's death, James grew anxious and suspicious of Anna. Worried about what would happen, he installed a cctv in Anna's room. He believes this will be useful someday. Moreover, it was obvious that the mad woman had put the mouse drug into the cloud milk. James also believes Anna killed Lunny and then dumped his head in the garden. 

"James, thank you for keeping the Clouds tonight." 

"No problem, Darling. Finish your business with him." James pointed at Stevan who was smiling as if he was going to win Keyla. After the two of them went up to the room, Awan invited his father to sleep. "Woman sleepy," he whined as he rubbed his eyes.

"All right, superman! Let's go up!" James cradled the Clouds and pretended to fly like Superman. 

Because too hard to exercise, James immediately fell asleep until he did not realize if the clouds came down from the bed. "Bunny, since when are you here? Shhhtt ... Papa is sleeping. He'll be pissed if I don't get to bed soon." Clouds crouch and look whispering. "Do you want to play with Lunny? Alright. I'll take you there." The clouds walked out of the room. Slowly the little boy came down the stairs holding "Bunny, wait. Don't hurry" he asked in a soft voice so that no one else would hear.

"Hey, is this the guy?" Whisper a man to his friend. While James did not know what he was dreaming of. His face smiled then suddenly laughed. "Quick ripple the anesthetic before he wakes up" the man who wears a leather jacket orders his shorter friend. They walked slowly closer to James and covered his mouth with a cloth that had been drugged. James had to get up and fight before suddenly his body was limp and unconscious. "He's fainted. Especially now?" 

"Hit his head! Hit as hard as you can!" The short-bodied man also hit his head until it bled. "Moreover now?" 

"Inject this in his arm! Then leave this pack in the drawer!"

They finished doing what they were told. The two men leave Stevan's house.

Anna saw James lying in her room. He smiled with satisfaction, and if James died, Anna would freely remove Keyla and her child. James Patek was the biggest obstacle for him, as he always looked after Keyla. Just like the incident of rat poison and gas leakage in the kitchen. James never left Keyla despite not always being around him. In contrast to Stevan who trusted Anna too much and was busy writing in his study. 

Anna went down the stairs, turned on all the lights and left the door open. He's so happy James is dead and soon, Anna's turn. He also left a note that was finished. Anna put it in a drawer.

"Father!" The clouds came and approached James. The man opened his arms preparing to hug. "Did you miss Papa?" 

"Hmm." The clouds nodded and hugged the crying man

and it did not feel Keyla also shed tears. "Are you okay, Key?" James' father patted his son-in-law on the shoulder. "Yes, Pa. Keyla was so grateful that the truth was finally revealed. Key, not sure papa Awan could do such a bad thing. Look at him how sorry the Clouds are. He's like an angel to us."

"******** small*it is now an adult. Look how happy he is." The man beside Keyla could not hide the novelty. And they both cried at the same time.

"Keyla!" James approached Keyla and hugged her. "Don't cry" she added, kissing her forehead. "James!" Keyla hugged James very tightly. He did not want to let go of the man at any time 

"Thank you, Pa!" James went to his father. "I'm sorry Papa, James. From now on live well with your children and your wife." 

The four of them got into the car and left the rehab. James has been completely cleared of drugs. James smiled and was grateful, now his dream of having a family was granted by God. Now he believes that God exists. And it is true, said Mama, God is with those who have sincerity in their hearts.

One month ago ....

"I'm sorry, Key. Because of my stupidity you suffered a lot and Cloud almost died."

"Already, Antonius. Everything is done and now we know what is right and wrong. I still can't believe Anna could do that. More hurt himself as recorded in cctv. I don't know what's on his mind to the point of jumping into the abyss."

"Come, Key. May now his pain be truly over."

"Once I'll see him, Antonius."

"Thank you, Key."

Keyla and Awan get into the car of his black metal father. He does not want to live in that house anymore. He also left Antony buried with his memories in the castle of dreams. Keyla no longer wants to dream. He wants to wake up and knit his happiness back with Clouds and James.

 He wanted to spend the rest of his life with a man who loved and trusted him to the end. And that man was James, not Antonius who trusted and defended Anna more. 

A happy ending doesn't always have to be with a loved one. But it must be with a trusting and trustworthy person.Keyla-Keyla

"James, look! There's Antonius on television!"

"Father!!!" The clouds screamed in excitement at his papa.

James who was eating also ran to the living room and joined the drift. "Young ... Is he launching a new book again, Key?"

"Yes. Keyla The Lost Love." 

James spouted the rice in his mouth. "Is Stevan a teenager? Why make that ridiculous title?"

"Are you jealous because she's more romantic than you?"

"Hey .. hey ... What's going on in the morning?" mama just came out of her room.

"Geez!" Cloud tiptoeing. Request carrying. "Awwww... granddaughter of oma getting heavier! If the cloud asks for a sling, you can get gout!"

"If Mama has gout, let Papa be carrying Mama," teased papa who just came out of the bathroom.

"It looks like Mama's granddaughter will be added again, huh! Shit-ready gout medicine." said Keyla timidly while stroking her stomach. 

Since Keyla came back home, the house has become very crowded. James kept his promise to Mom. If she marries Keyla, she will stay at Keyla's parents' house.

Mental hospital Dr. Suharto Heerdjan

Anna was standing by the window. His eyes were blank and the doctor said he didn't remember anything. "Did you come here often, Antonius?" ask Erika. The two friends stood at the door of the room where Anna was being treated.

"Yes. I feel guilty for her."

"I didn't think we'd get together again under these circumstances. I miss the old Anna. His laughter, his anger, and also his effect. She's a good girl. You know that, don't you, Steve?"

"Of course Erika. Anna is our best friend. Then, now, or tomorrow."

Erika hugged Stevan. He could no longer contain his sadness. Her crying broke and her chest felt tight.

"That's Erika. If you cry too much, the baby in your belly will be sad."

"Did my husband tell you?"

"Who else? Look, Anna is smiling."

"Is he smiling for us, Steve?"

"Yes. And also Jack. We can finally be together again after all this time."

"Steve's? Aren't you gonna regret taking Keyla off?"

"Maybe I'll regret it. But I'm happy for her marriage to James."

"Oh yeah, Steve. Can you tell Keyla that Bunny died a few months ago? I forgot to tell you."

Steve just kept quiet. Thank you, Bunny for being the Cloud's best friend.
