Chapter 82: Forget the Past

"Have you forgotten that his mother took your father from us. Because saving the life of the damn child with his mother too, your daddy willingly swapped his own life," Matilda concluded began to get emotional.

"Mom.." said Adeline softly staring at Matilda who began to cry.

"Mommy's fine, baby," Matilda replies if her daughter worries about her.

"Please promise mommy never to see her again. Mommy doesn't want anything to happen to you anymore" Matilda said, holding Adeline's hand.

"Mom, can't mommy forget the past and accept the reality that happened. Casey's not the wrong mom. He doesn't know anything. This is all also because of daddy who received his business friend's invitation to drink at the bar and in the trap to damage the mommy household," Adeline hugged Matilda.

"Adel. mommy can't. You know, every time I see that kid's face, I'm pictured with his hypocritical mother's face. He deliberately did not want to abort his womb because he planned to take your daddy from mommy," said Matilda.

The door opened and the two women in the room turned towards the door.

"Sorry.sorry." said Casey with tears wetting his face accidentally pressing the doorknob. Casey ran away from the room.

"Casey.." call Adeline. He wanted to get down from his gurney but because of his condition he had difficulty chasing Casey. He believes Casey must have heard his mother's words.

"Mom.. go after Casey.." Adeline ordered.

"Mom, Casey must have heard that. I'm not sure she'll be okay" Adeline said sadly. If he could, he wanted to go after Casey and calm his sister down.

"Leave it. It's better if he knows who he really is. Mommy has always wanted to say it" said Matilda flat.

"Mom.." said Adeline angrily.

Brakkk. Adeline and Matilda looked at the door.

"Honey, you're fine" said Malvin, approaching his wife with anxiety and worry. She just got a call from her mother-in-law and said Adeline was in the hospital.

"Me and our baby are okay hubby," Adeline answered wiping her husband's worried face.

"This is all because of Ca__"

"I wasn't careful when I walked down to the ground" Adeline said, cutting off her mother's words.

"You sure? you're not lying, are you?" malvin asked doubtful of his wife's words.

"Mommy came out for a while" Matilda said and left.

"I didn't lie to hubby" Adeline looked back at her husband as if to reassure him.

"You scared me, baby" said Malvin, peeping at his beloved wife.

"I'm sorry, next time I'll be careful" Adeline hugged her husband.

"The doctor said, tomorrow morning I can go home" Adeline said.

"Well, tonight we will stay here" Dariel said.

"Hubby, don't tell this to mum and dad. I don't want them to worry. Anyway I'm fine," concluded Adeline did not want her two in-laws who are currently in England to worry. Malvin nodded.

Meanwhile, Casey arrived home. He ran to his room and locked it. Casey's body slumped, leaning against the door.

"Worthy that mommy hates me. I'm not her daughter" murmured Casey in tears.

"Why do I have to go through all this. Why should I be born to a woman who has ruined my mommy's household and it turns out that I caused daddy to die. Why didn't I just die back then" Casey said in a powerful voice.

"But I also want to be a mommy child even though there is no mommy blood flowing in my body" Casey said. Casey still loves Matilda, despite how hard Matilda refuses. Casey can't hate that woman.

Even now Casey doesn't blame Matilda, because she knows that her birth mother and herself caused everything that happened to her. Mommy deserves to hate him.
