Chapter 92:

Two hours later Casey was able to lean on the head of the bed, his body movements have improved.

"Darling.. are you hungry?" darel asked gently. She wanted to feed Casey but she refused because she was not hungry. Casey nodded her head.

"Mom reheated the food first" Luvena said, taking Casey's cold meal. Inside the room also features a kitchen, so Luvena doesn't have to go far to heat Casey's food.

A few minutes later, Luvena returns with a hot meal for Casey. Luvena then gave Dariel a tray of food.

"Mom went out for a while to get us breakfast" Luvena said. Dariel then nodded.

Before feeding Casey, Dariel gives her a drink first. Dariel scoops the grits and blows them away. He then cheated on Casey. Dariel is very painstakingly feeding Casey. The man treated Casey very carefully. Casey observed every gentle treatment the man had for her.

"That's enough." Casey shook his head, as Dariel was about to bribe him back.

"Darling, you still eat a little. How can you be full with just a few tablespoons of grits," said Dariel softly.

"Some more bribes yes." concluded Dariel persuaded Casey. The woman then nodded. Dariel then scoops the grits and salmon and feeds Casey until half of Casey's food runs out.

"I'm full of Dariel." Casey said she didn't want to eat anymore.

"Well baby." dariel tipped Casey's forehead and put the tray on the nightstand.

Adeline came in with her husband holding their baby. After hearing from Luvena, Adeline couldn't wait to see Casey. But before that he had to wait for Malvin to arrive home after going out of town on business.

"Casey, you finally came to your senses" Adeline cried happily and hugged her sister.

"Sister." murmured Casey returned Adeline's embrace.

"You know, your niece is very handsome. He must have missed his aunty, too" Adeline said.

"I want to see her sister" Casey replied. Adeline then nodded and took over her son Louis from Malvin's sling.

"Can I carry it" Pinta Casey.

"Darling.have you been able to carry it. I'm afraid your energy hasn't fully recovered" Dariel said worriedly.

"Just for a minute" replied Casey. Dariel finally nodded. Slowly, Adeline helps Casey hold her baby.

"His name is Louis Casey" said Adeline.

"Baby Louis is very similar to sister-in-law" Casey rubbed the little baby's face gently. The baby squirmed a little because he was disturbed.

"Yes, you've come, yes" said Luvena, who had just entered Casey's ward. Luvena came with her husband to bring breakfast.

"Have you guys had breakfast, auntie bought a lot of food" Luvena said, putting her food on the table.

"What a coincidence aunt, I haven't had breakfast. After returning from out of town, I was with Adeline straight here" said Malvin.

"Yes, we have breakfast together" Luvena replied.

"Son, daddy's glad to hear you're sober" said Halton, wiping the head of Casey, whom he thought was his own daughter.

"Daddy does not know what your husband will be like if you are not aware," concluded Halton mocked the appearance of Dariel.

A few minutes later they had breakfast together. Casey and Adeline did not eat breakfast because they had breakfast before. The two brothers were talking. Adeline tells Matilda's situation to Casey. How their mother cried hysterically when Casey was declared dying and near death.
