Before signing the divorce papers, Antonius gave some terms. Me and Awan had to stay in his house for a week and after the divorce Antony could meet the Clouds at any time. I agree because I also do not want to be too alot when negotiating. I want my marriage to James to go smoothly and without significant obstacles.
Although my mother did not agree, after being persuaded by James, she finally could not refuse anymore. I don't know what James told my mom. Because he rarely wants to obey the advice of others.
"Sir, Key!" aunty shouted while running when she saw me get out of the car. We hugged each other for a moment before our tears were shed.
"Mom, Key. Welcome back."
"Thank you, sir."
"Darling, let's go down." James took down the clouds from his sling. Antony brought our things in. "Greet you to your aunt and father."
"Greetings aunt, father. I'm Cloud. Age 4." The clouds introduced themselves while bowing.
"Sir, look. It's like Steve was a kid." Aunty kissed the Clouds in dismay and the father only smiled from a distance.
"Sir. Bi, it's James. The Cloud." Hearing my words father and aunt. They were confused not being able to digest my sentence. Even so, they still gave a sincere smile.
"Let's go in Key," the aunt who led the Clouds. My little prince is easily familiar with anyone. Including people he just met.
From a distance the house did not change. The smell of roses still remains the hallmark and the thing I love the most about this luxurious castle. But getting closer to the entrance I felt my chest being pierced by thousands of needles. My footsteps stopped.
"What's up, Key?" ask James. He rubbed my back.
"It's okay, James." I held him and continued forward. Anthony and a woman I knew were standing by the door. Anna's.
"Hi, Keyla. I just found out that you've been neighbors with Erika all this time" said the woman. His voice was loud and unfriendly to my ears. "Come on James." I invited her in regardless of Anna while the Clouds went nowhere. Maybe I played with my aunt and dad.
Unlike before, this house is not empty anymore. There is a sofa in the living room and lots of toys. I'm not surprised, for a rich man like Antonius to prepare all this, there's no need to wait long.
"Key, come. I put your stuff on top."
"You wanna come, James?" He shook. I prefer to sit on the sofa.
"Sleep here." Antony opened the door to the room we used to wear together. "Your other things are still in the same place."
"What's that woman doing here?"
"Anna?"
"Who else. Do you really not know your fault, Antonius?"
"Key. Calm down."
"Did he live here?"
Anthony did not answer. "Then why are you asking me to stay here, Antonius?" I threw my bag at him. As hard as I could, I beat the body. But it's no use. In the end I was crying. I'm the one who got hurt. And I fell.
"Key ... calm down Key."
"How can I calm down?" I put away those two hands that were trying to touch me.
"And that friend is you?!" I pushed her body and cried. "Come out Antonius .. I don't want to see you."
"Are you alright, Darling?" James' voice made me open my eyes. "Am I asleep? Where are the Clouds?"
"Calm down. The clouds with aunt. She's doing just fine. Are you feeling better now?"
"Mmm .. I feel so sleepy."
"You must be exhausted."
"James ...." I turned my body to the right. Facing James.
"Is that woman still here?"
"I think so."
"Let's go back to Canada, James. I can't stay with that woman. I'm afraid Antonius will take the Clouds."
"No, Key. You must live in Indonesia. This is where your home is. Where your parents are."
"Mama!" the clouds from the door that began to open. Antonius was holding her. I got out of bed and hugged the clouds. "Do you like playing with your aunt?"
"Mmmmhhh!" Clouds nod. "Papa has a lot of rabbits. But I don't give you a name yet" he continued. "Is that really Antonius?" He just stood up smiling. Before returning to Indonesia, Awan did cry because he could not bring Bunny. Later, Antony promised to buy him a lot of white rabbits. And he kept it. "Papa let's see the rabbit. Let's name one by one" he asked James. James complied and carried it. We have not dared to take off the Clouds alone walking on the stairs. "Steve, take care of Keyla." James patted Antonius on the shoulder and walked out of the room.
"Sit down." I patted the blanket.
"Let's talk, James," I said with a limp body.
"Are you okay, Key?" asked the man with his body leaning towards me. My reflex is closing my nose. And then we laughed at the same time. "I didn't expect cleaning the rabbit cage to be so troublesome. Moreover, there are five tails." I'm laughing a little. "Not a cage, Antonius. But home. Even though I don't like keeping animals, I want Awan to treat his pet like a human. Tell him to talk, play, feed and love him."
"alright. Thank you for raising our son so well." My heart was suddenly filled to hear it. Anthony was right, however he was his son. Meat blood.
"Thank you to James. All this time he's been taking care of both of us."
"I will thank him for loving my wife and children. But not for the plane." Hearing that I bowed embarrassed and infiltrated a little guilt. Am I sorry? Do it with James? But soon we will get married.
"About Anna. What pain is he?" I ventured to start asking.
"He always tried to kill himself. And the first time he did it, when we were on our honeymoon. I can't ignore it, Key. He has no family."
But you can ignore me. Those words only appeared in my heart. "Is he okay now?" Antonius. "He's only been here a few days after being discharged from the hospital since his last suicide. The doctor said she was mentally unwell and she needed someone else to take care of her."
"And that guy is you?"
"Key. Please. Understand."
I can't speak anymore. It doesn't matter to me anymore. Whether it's Antonius or not doesn't matter to me. Doesn't it really matter?
