Chapter 77: Dariel's Office

Casey plans to go to Dariel's office and bring his homemade food there. Casey made Churros and Pot Roast. Last afternoon, Dariel couldn't pick her up because of an important meeting and told Barney to pick her up. After changing his clothes, Casey looks for Barney, the driver at Dariel's house. Casey wore a floral dress below the knee and black flat shoes.

"Barney, take me to Dariel's office. I don't know where the office is because I've never been there" Casey said. Barney then nodded.

"Wait here, ma'am, I'll get the car first" Barney said, leaving.

Soon Barney arrives in a car, Casey gets on a ride and the two go to Dariel's office.

Arriving in front of Dariel's company, Casey got out of the car and told Barney to go home, because he was going home with Dariel.

"Geez, the company is huge" murmured Casey amazed to see the huge building in front of him. Casey walked into the lobby with a look of admiration. Casey walked to the reception desk to ask the person in her car.

"Excuse me, does Dariel exist?" casey looked at the female receptionist in front of her.

"Have you made an appointment with Mr Garfield before?" tanya the receptionist looked at Casey lightly. Probably because of Casey's usual appearance. Casey shakes.

"Sorry miss, our boss can't meet anyone carelessly. Moreover, it has not made an appointment before," said the woman's receptionist flat.

"But I'm his wife, why do I have to make an appointment first" Casey said, not liking the woman's ministry.

"Sorry miss, Mr. Garfield is not married. You can't lie to me. Many women have come here claiming to be the wife or lover of Mr Garfield. Besides looking at your appearance, I think you are not suitable to be his wife," said the woman stared lightly at Casey's appearance. Casey sighed. He didn't want to make a fuss in Dariel's office. After all, the receptionist was not entirely wrong. Because Casey knows that the people in Dariel's office don't know about their marriage.

"You'd better go home, miss, don't expect too much to see Mr. Garfield. He did not go to meet anyone else. We rarely met her" said the receptionist, exorcising Casey.

"But I'm not lying" Casey said.

Casey picked up her phone and called Dariel. Meanwhile Dariel is still meeting in the meeting room with the board of commissioners and directors. Dariel's phone rang, he didn't want to pick up his call because he was busy. His phone rang a second time, a third time. And now Dariel knows who contacted him. There was only one woman who dared to call her number many times in the time that was close together. Casey, his wife.

"All right, our meeting's over here. I am satisfied with your performance. I hope we always work together to build this company" Dariel closed the meeting and walked out of the meeting room to pick up a call from Casey.

"Hello.."

"Well, I'll be there" said Dariel, walking to his private elevator.

Upon arrival in the lobby, Dariel sees Casey sitting on the sofa waiting for him.

"Honey.why not go straight to my room," said Dariel made Casey stand up and hug Dariel.

"Actually I've met the receptionist to meet you. It's just that he didn't give me permission because they didn't know me" Casey said.

"I don't like the way he looks at me. She even said that I couldn't be your wife because of my innocent appearance like this" Casey told Dariel. Dariel who heard that became angry.

"The receptionist who has dared to look down on my wife, let's say. I'm gonna fire him right now" Dariel said, peeping at Casey's lips. Some of the employees there were surprised to see Dariel kissing Casey. They seem to wonder. The female receptionist who rejected Casey also looked at her. He started to fear that after this Dariel might fire him. Looking at Dariel's attitude towards Casey, he believes that Casey has a special relationship with Dariel. She thinks Casey lied to her.

"No. Don't fire him. Just give a warning. We don't know, maybe at the moment he's on a lot of Dariel's dependents" Casey said, disagreeing with Dariel. Although Casey is annoyed with the receptionist, she does not have the heart to fire him.

"It's only because you asked" Dariel said.
