His Purpose

His Purpose
122. Indignants

Maria ducked while grimacing in embarrassment watching the two maids who were cleaning the bed in her room. Oh, my God, this is embarrassing. It could be seen from their clumsy and awkward gait pulling the matted and messy sheets.

Though he and Gibran only touch each other without unification, but why can it be as bad as this?

One of them chuckled. Usut got a mouth he accidentally touched something sticky there. Oh my God, Mary wants to hide her face right now.

Maria retreated slowly intending to return to the wardrobe room as long as they cleared the room. But only two steps back hit something hard, making him stop especially when a hand is coiled on his shoulder.

"You can fall if you walk like that" Gibran said, right beside Mary's ear.

Maria groaned in her heart. Gibran's treatment could not be separated from the attention of two servants in his room. They moved unbecoming with blushing faces.

Cup.

As if it wasn't enough now Gibran put a kiss on Maria's cheek. Smoothed it smooth while moving the tip of his nose there.

"Koko, stop," said Maria softly.

"Why?" Gibran refused to stop his behavior.

"Shame," whispered Mary again.

"N-Miss, we'll excuse you. Come on, Mister." The two maids were immediately flushed out of the room.

"See? They're more embarrassed than you."

Slowly out of Mary's mouth. He tried hard to remove the embrace of Gibran directly obeyed the man. Maria screamed because Gibran still had time to squeeze her seduction.

Basic pervert!

Maria glared at Gibran who was now giggling without a sound. Really, the look has no sins.

"Why, Plum?" Gibran asked as he passed towards the nightstand, picking up the watch lying there.

Angrily Mary flinched past Gibran without even intending to answer. Gibran turned his head with both eyebrows raised.

Blam it!

The sound of the door being shut was unable to make Gibran aghast. He stared at the shadow of Mary swallowed there.

Gibran sighed. He has known his wife's character since she became pregnant. Not only spoiled, he is also often arbitrary. Strangely, Gibran never objected to the change. Except when Maria asked him to sing of course.

Soon the door was open.

"Why isn't Koko going after me?!"

Gibran turned his head slowly, his forehead furrowing deeply. What's up again?

"What's wrong?" ask Gibran so casually.

Maria even poked with a increasingly irritated look. What exactly is wrong?

"Do not know! Dry wood!" Mary slammed the door. This time it made Gibran blink in surprise.

He blinked thinking. His lips lifted up a shimmer while scratching his head with a puzzled expression.

"Oh God, what's wrong with my wife?"

"Mary, what's wrong with you?" Rayan who saw the murky look of her daughter could not bear to not ask.

Maria Manyun, she shifted the chair right beside her father, where Gibran could not sit.

"Are all men so thick?"

"Sucks how?"

Maria looked quickly, trying to ask for support from her father. "After being perverted he ignored me. Is that worth it?"

"When did I ignore you?" Gibran who had just entered the dining room immediately asked with a look of wonder.

Maria threw a cynical look that Gibran replied flatly.

"Aren't you the one who asked to be released? Where's my attitude you call ignoring?"

"And again, why are you sitting there? Move here" Gibran said.

Maria threw an indifferent face. His hand took the sandwich on the plate and bit it in one big mouthful.

Gibran grunting. "It is you who are currently ignoring me."

"Maria, swallow the bread first," said Rayan finely.

Gibran sighed while shaking his head. Do you know if pregnant women are always unstable? Seems not. Maybe only Mary turned spoiled.

"Plum—"

"I'm done." Mary suddenly got up and left the dining room.

Gibran still maintained his calm demeanor despite Maria's oddity starting to make him dizzy himself.

"Maybe he's like that because he doesn't want you to stay" Rayan suddenly said.

Gibran turned his attention to the in-laws.

"You're going to Singapore this morning, right? Maybe that's the reason Mary became a little spoiled and unclear."

"Aren't you going to take her?"

"can't. His gestational age is still vulnerable to boarding a plane."

"Right as well," Rayan murmured while nodding softly. He seemed indifferent to scooping the contents of his plate. "Then try harder to persuade him."

Gibran snorted and spoke cynically. "Without you telling me to do it."

And Rayan only responded with a shoulder tip.

Just about to bite the bread suddenly the cry of Mary surprised Rayan and Gibran.

"Kookooo!!!"

Trang!

Gibran dropped his knife and fork in surprise, followed by he who immediately left the table and ran out.

Gibran's long legs swung quickly to find the origin of the sound, until soon his eyes found Maria sitting on a step ladder. He came closer with a panicked look.

"What's going on? Why sit here? You fell? Where does it hurt? Why is it like this, huh?! You're not careful?!" Overly worried Gibran involuntarily snapped at Maria, leaving the woman aghast as Gibran examined her entire body.

"Co-Cocco ..."

"Why are you always so careless? Stop being childish and watch your actions! You always invite danger. Can't you just sit still and calm down without doing anything?"

"You're not a child anymore, Maria. Stop making me sick."

Deg.

Mary looked at Gibran in disbelief. Did that guy just scold her?

"Co-Cocco ..."

Gibran did not say. He lifted up Mary's body and took her out to the car. Coinciding with that Rayan came with a look of astonishment.

"What's this?" He asked as he followed Gibran. His eyes looked at the princess who was in her daughter-in-law's arms.

"He fell, I'll take him to the hospital."

Maria immediately shook her head asking for her father's help. "I-I didn't fall, Papa ... Koko misunderstood. Put me down, we don't need to go to the hospital!"

Gibran ignored Maria's protest. He sat Maria down after Nick opened the rear passenger door.

His fear is so scary. Maria did not dare to reprimand him especially before Gibran had a chance to hit him.

"Gibrans! What—" Let alone Maria, Rayan was speechless at the expression of her daughter-in-law at this moment.

He was silent as Maria threw him a gaze from the open car window.

"Road!"

The obedient Nick without much words immediately spurred the car splitting the road.

While in her seat, Mary grimaced inwardly. He did not expect Gibran would be anything like this, even though his intention was just to prank the leg.

Jesus, Mary's gonna die when Gibran finds out she's just pretending.

Stupid mary. He was also upset and hurt because Gibran yelled and scolded him earlier. Maria wanted to cry for real. He was also scared because Gibran looked so angry right now.

Oh, my God, what should he do?
