His Purpose

His Purpose
48. Something in Forest

Gibran stopped his activities on the table. His hand reflexively caught the car key that Maria threw against his chest. Today she does work from home, so it is not impossible for Mary to find her in the workspace.

He looked up, the first thing he found was the annoyed look of Mary. The woman's eyes narrowed sharply towards him. His lips curled downwards ready to vent anger.

"Are Koko kidding? Koko played me, huh?"

"What the hell is a fruit market? Koko told me to go shopping for fruits and vegetables, right?"

Gibran leaned his back and folded his arms, side-by-side returning Mary's gaze calmly. "Don't you want to get out? I've allowed you."

Maria stomped in annoyance, "It's not like that either .." her screams were anxious.

"What can I do in a place like that? Koko must have understood me, right?"

Gibran nodded, "Surely," he replied briefly.

"Then why ..."

"I'm just answering your curiosity about this area. And now that you know, this region isn't easy, it's far from what you expected."

"But Koko only allowed me to travel 10 kilometers. He said it was far from the city! Where do we live now? For a long time I had never known there was such a remote village. Surprisingly, why is Koko's house even bigger than the state palace?"

The road is nice and paved. But, somehow the area is very quiet. That is what confused Maria. Gibran is more likely to use air than land wherever he goes. Maria understands now. Along the road that he saw there were only forests and hills, there were no tall buildings like the company building.

Where has Gibran worked all this time? How long did the man spend to get there?

"You'll know later, but not now. Right now I can only allow you that far."

Maria scowled and looked at Gibran hatefully, "Bad Shops!"

"Why isn't there a single good thing I got from you? You want me to have you. But your own attitude sucks."

He turned around and came out slamming the door. No matter what, Gibran would be angry if the wooden thing was broken.

"Eat that car. No use in having it." Mary walked with wide steps. The woman continued to grumble and scold Gibran. He even cried so upset with Gibran's attitude which he thought was arbitrary and like to organize.

Laura walked up to him as she came out of the elevator, "Madam, the fruit is up I'm sharing."

"Good," said Mary.

"Where is the lady going?"

"Anywhere. Please don't follow me."

Laura was hesitant at first. But, seeing Mary's tangled look he could only obey and persuade Jill as well as Dean to stay still in place.

"Sir, what will you do after this?"

"Ah .. call Abhimanyu. Tell him not to tell his ex-wife where Gibran is. The woman hogs her son too much. It's time for my grandson to be free."

"I've been so hard to meet my own grandchildren. Other than Gabriel, I don't even know my first grandchild's development was real."

"Now, I won't let that woman touch and disturb Gibran again. The child has the right to live by his own choice."

The young man standing beside the sofa nodded. "I understand." Then he seemed to hesitate for a moment, "Isn't this afternoon ... You met Young Master's wife? According to you ... She how?"

The grandfather snorted, "His attitude is indeed a bit annoying. And it seems like he is also a little stupid," he said indifferently.

The young man did not speak anymore, he decided to call Abhimanyu Wiranata according to the order of the superior.

While elsewhere, Maria was scowling walking unstoppably in direction. Sometimes he would turn to the west of the mansion, then return and continue to turn east. All this he did to vent his anger.

One habit of Mary that no one else knows, the woman will make an over movement when annoyance, annoyance, and anger overwhelm her heart.

I don't know how many times Maria went back and forth around the mansion. Sweat that often makes him not at home even this time he did not ignore.

Not infrequently the servants and the guards who passed him looked at Maria strangely. But they certainly did not dare to rebuke. The warning from Gibran not to disturb anything his wife did was enough to be their reason for silence.

However, silence can also lead to loss. Evidently when suddenly Maria disappeared from the surveillance radar and triggered a commotion all the inhabitants of the mansion. Moreover, when the news reached Gibran's ears, none of them escaped the curse.

"What have you been doing since?! Why keep an eye on just one person no one's mute!" gibran shouted at the guards as well as the servants gathered in the front lobby.

They looked down in fear, especially Laura, Jill, and Dean who felt they had the biggest share in looking after Maria.

"Find him now! I'll give you an hour to find him." Gibran passes in followed by Nick.

But the man told Nick to immediately check the CCTV room and check every corner of the mansion. While he was looking for places that are rare and forbidden to people other than himself.

Maria blinked circulating her eyes staring around. His lips were curious about the territory he had just entered. Unbeknownst to anyone Maria found a small gate that she thought was an alternative way to exit the mansion.

Maria with high curiosity. He could not bear it if the questions in his heart had not been answered. As of now, Maria was very curious as to where the path she was treading would lead.

Fertile trees dominate the region. It seemed like the Gibran mansion was indeed in the middle of the forest. All he saw around the man's house were huge, creepy wooden trees. And Mary foolishly walked through the forest alone.

Maria hugged her body as a cold wind blew through the skin. He forgot to wear his coat. Know this Maria will not take off the warm clothes like Laura's advice.

He walked along the small road. Until something behind the lushness of the tree caught Mary's attention completely.

Maria walked closer. Fearful of his hands tore through the bush with a feeling of anxiety, worried that there were snakes or dangerous animals hiding there.

But thank goodness there was nothing in those leafy leaves. There is actually a lake that is very clear and looks bluish to dazzle the eyes.

Mary opened her mouth in disbelief. "Waah .. am I in Switzerland now?"
