His Purpose

His Purpose
88. Homewards

"How long is the shop, huh? He said just for a second, but it's been more than two weeks."

"Why does the house feel different. Though previously Koko was also rarely at home."

Mary moved her lips, letting out all the grievances that crawled her heart. While Laura, the girl was standing not far from Maria, staring lazily at the mistress who was again doing ridiculous things.

What is more ridiculous than squatting and scraping the ground into holes? Mary was looking for worms.

But, to be honest this made Laura calm down. Rather than Maria continue to move her way here and there aimlessly, it was better for the woman to be silent.

"I dare not protest either. Laura, I'm learning to be a calm, non-possessive woman. I'm afraid my fussiness makes him uncomfortable. I don't know, I'll turn chatty when it comes to relationships with men. But it was precisely this that made them leave me. He said I was too noisy and spoiled. Am I really that pampered?"

Maria looked up at Laura with a cat look that asked for pity. Laura grimaced scratching her nape confused. "Either. First I knew Madam, Madam was so quiet and moody, so much different from now. Maybe it was because at that time her position Madam was heartbroken."

Maria nodded. Laura's statement makes sense. He hitchhiked his chin on his knees, staring straight at the green grass that was none other than Gibran's golf course. There were already about ten pine trees that he planted. Mary could not wait to see the trees growing and growing. Not knowing what to think, before Mary did not like to touch the ground let alone grow crops.

"Mrs, it looks like it's going to rain. We better get in" said Laura suddenly. He looked up at the sky which had been cloudy since morning.

Maria looked up. He breathed before then got up. Laura swiftly wiped Maria's hand using the wet tissue she was carrying. They then crossed the park to return to the Mansion.

Sure enough, it rained heavily once they reached the corridor. Luckily the lightning wasn't so thunderous. Maria hated the sound of lightning striking as if she was about to break a window.

"You want hot chocolate?" Laura offered.

Mary turned her head, she thought for a moment, "May."

"Then you wait in the room, I'll drop the hot chocolate."

"Library only. I haven't read in there in a long time."

"Oh, okay." Laira sighed at Maria's listless footsteps.

Suddenly Martha appeared, "It seems like lately Madam is quite moody?"

"Well .. risks are remote. Not only is the distance and time spread, but the heart also becomes like a swing, not clear feeling."

Martha reviewed the smile, her eyes following Mary who had now disappeared into the elevator, her look full of meaning when thinking about something.

"Maybe there will soon be a new member in this Mansion," he said ambiguously while turning his body left Laura dumbfounded.

Laura blinked, "New member? Who?" mumbled thinking.

"Stop daydreaming. Make hot chocolate for Madam!" Martha's appeal made Laura unwilling to shake off her curiosity.

Mary closed the book sadly. The romance of romance that ended tragically really managed to make Mary's heart raging. However, he was relieved to find a reason to cry. It was as if all the sense that was suffocating him decays causing a feeling of relief that made his breathing no longer tight.

Maria sobbed, shrinking her tears using a scarf. The night was already so late, even the Mansion was already quiet as the servants returned to the pavilion. Even so Maria still felt at home in the book room.

"What's wrong with me? Why won't my tears stop? Hicks ..."

Crackling.

A voice made Maria stunned. He looked back at the body, bending his head with his eyes wide. There's no one. Did things fall?

Maria's heart was beating fast, her hands squeezing the scarf that was slung over her shoulder. A shadow moved from the side. Mary quickly looked over and found no one.

But Maria was sure what she saw was not a delusion. There was actually a movement of several meters from where he stood.

"Who?" His voice echoed in silence.

Maria gulps. Suddenly fear ambushed the calm. In this Mansion there are no ghosts, right? It can't be a thief, Gibran put up security so tight.

There's no answer. Maria did not find any movement anymore.

I better get going.

Mary turned quickly towards the door. Just as he passed by a shelf that loomed in the middle of space, the shadow reappeared to make him surprised and unable to hold back control.

Maria screamed back her legs until she accidentally nudged a decorative lamppost and made her almost fall on Maria.

That's when his hand was pulled against someone's body, his face was sunk touching a white shirt that looked tangled but fragrant.

Maria was still surprised. He did not realize the warm embrace so tense he heard the broken glass coming from the lamp. It just hit the floor hard.

Until a whisper greets the ear, "Be careful, Honey ..."

Maria tensed. He looked up with a surprised look as well as disbelief. His eyes were open with his mouth half open.

"Ko-Cocco ...?"

"Yes, I am. You miss me?" Gibran gave a small smile pinching Maria's chin, slightly pushing her until the woman's lips closed.

Maria did not answer. He was still staring at Gibran with glazed eyes. The crying that a moment ago had stopped now without being prevented from sliding back.

In the end Maria's defenses collapsed. He sobbed under the gaze of the husband who glared at him lovingly. Or is it just Maria's feelings?

Maria did not care, she immediately rushed back Gibran's embrace. Sobbing with trembling body as well as overflowing feeling. This chest, he misses her a lot. The fragrance that made him crazy as well as calm at the same time.

Is it really what he sees now? Mary wasn't dreaming, was she? Gibran was real in front of him.

"Ssttt .. Stop crying. You make me such an evil husband."

"Coko is evil ... Long time no news, once home even surprising."

Gibran chuckled at the head of the old Mary. "Initially, the name is also a surprise."

"And again, I haven't called you in three days but have you called long?"

Maria scowled in embarrassment, "Am I overreacting?" tweet slowly.

"No. I'm glad you missed me. That's your right anyway. You're free to feel anything for me."

Maria sobbed again, even firmer than before. Gibran did not forbid. He let Mary take off all the burdens that occupied her mind as long as she was not around.

"I am so sorry .." murmured Gibran.

He cupped Mary's face, clenching her lips full of longing. Maria also replied in between tears that were still reluctant to subside. Gurgling all the flavors that in half a month are pent up stifling the chest.
