Maria glanced coldly at Gibran who had just entered carrying a tray. Finally after various considerations Mary was willing to eat. Not to obey Gibran, Mary did so because she thought of the child in the stomach.
Maria is not as selfish as it is by prioritizing emotions to ignore the nutritional intake and health of her fetus. Beyond his anger at Gibran, it did not necessarily make Maria also feel angry at the man's flesh and blood.
"Food ready ..." Gibran approached and put the tray on the table. He sat down on the couch next to Mary.
Gibran kissed his wife's stomach. "Time to eat, Baby. Sorry we didn't eat at a fancy restaurant, Mommy you're mad at Daddy" whispered Gibran as he occasionally glanced at Maria who just glanced lazily over him.
Gibran smiled before grabbing the plate on the table. "Your favorite seafood pasta." He began to thrust the spoon in front of Mary's mouth.
For a moment the woman was silent, refusing to open her mouth. But for a long time the delicious aroma was unable to stem its defense.
Mary was about to grab the spoon from Gibran's hand. "Let me just."
But Gibran immediately distanced the spoon. "Let me steam, Plum. I know you have trouble using your left hand."
"I can," chuckled Mary.
"It's not good to eat with your left hand."
"What does Koko know about kindness?" reply Maria intense.
Gibran was pecking, but he immediately smiled. "This is better I bribe. Come on, let me feed you." Gibran glanced at Mary's stomach a little.
"Your stomach sounds, baby," he added amusedly.
Angrily Mary opened her mouth and accepted Gibran's mouth in one go. As much as possible his eyes did not lead to the man he officially considered crazy.
"Slowly chew."
Since when did Gibran become chatty? Why did Maria feel that the man had been so noisy since?
"His noodles are spiciness?" ask Gibran for attention.
Maria simply shook her head to answer the question.
"Goodoo. A again."
One bribe after another Mary chewed without feeling. After finishing the spaghetti, Gibran switched to feeding it fruit smoothies to refresh the tongue. And the last man gave him vitamins that he regularly consumed as recommended by the doctor.
"Done." Gibran smiled with satisfaction. He rubbed Mary's distended stomach after putting an empty glass on the table.
Mary looked at Gibran long ago. His feelings were mixed again remembering the facts he heard at the restaurant earlier.
Gabriel's appearance was truly shocking. Maria did not expect it turned out that both had a big contribution to the fate of Mary now.
Never once did Gibran and Gabriel plan something this big behind him. Why are they so fooling him so far?
"You agree, Plum?"
Maria surprised. He blinked at Gibran's gaze. It turns out that the man had been talking to her since. Maria was completely unfocused until none of Gibran's sentences were captured.
"You didn't hear me?" Maria could see a slight disappointed look in Gibran's eyes. He wanted to ask what the man had said. But what are the forces of ego and prestige are dominating.
"You must be sleepy. Then go to sleep." Gibran tidied the empty containers on the table. Then he remembered something. "Right, you must have trouble letting go of all that." Gibran scanned from top to bottom.
Gibran means dresses, jewelry and make up. Maria certainly can't disarm her alone.
"Do I help you or do I call a waiter?"
"Servant" answered Mary briefly.
Gibran had expected the answer. He nodded and quickly exited the room to call the maid to help Maria. Not to forget he ordered that the waiter all carry a tray that Gibran deliberately left there. He was lazy to return the dishes to the kitchen especially if he had to wash them.
...
After making sure Maria slept, Gibran closed the door. He walked down the stairs and approached Nick who was waiting downstairs.
"Hm." Gibran muttered while wearing the jacket and gloves that Nick handed over.
"The motor is ahead, sir."
"Okay, you keep an eye on this residence. Don't let your guard down. Make sure our security team is working properly."
"That's for sure, sir."
Gibran steps out followed by Nick. His legs swung elegantly while riding a motorbike. After wearing a helmet, he turned to Nick once more.
"Tell Laura, Maria wakes up a lot and asks for food. Tell the girl not to sleep too well. If you can tell him to sleep in Maria's room. There's a couch in there."
Nick grimaced in heart. Gibran asked a girl to sleep on the couch? So mean.
"Good, Sir. You don't have to worry. Madam will be fine."
After that Gibran nodded and left Nick with the night wind.
Gibran propelled his bike smartly. Not until one hour he has arrived at the Wiranata mansion which stands majestically in the Kelapa Gading area.
Bruum .. bruum ...
Gibran pulled his starter tight to cause a noise in front of the big house.
The door opened, and Gabriel was ready in neat clothes. The man also wears a jacket and helmet just like Gibran.
Gabriel's riding in the splash. "Is it okay for Sister to leave Mary like this?"
"And letting you keep whining pisses me off?" timpal Gibran cynical. He grunts. "You can't even keep your lover."
"I told you not to hamili him just yet" Gibran sighed almost inaudibly.
He then started his motorbike until speeding away from the area.
Their destination is the airport. Because the midnight location of the flight was very quiet, there were only a handful of people who were still wara-wiri there.
Derick greeted as soon as they entered. Gabriel approached the tall man and invited him to shake hands. "Captain, how are you?"
Derick smiled back at the greeting. "Okay, Young Master." Then he turned to Gibran and immediately bowed in disdain. "The plane is ready, sir."
Gibran nodded and followed Derick, performing scans and other procedures before heading to the runway.
"Sister, Maria how are you?" Gabriel asked as they were already sitting on the plane. He circled his eyes admiring the interior around him.
"Amazing out. It's more luxurious than Papa's," he murmured without even realizing Gibran's sharp glances.
"Focus on your goals now" Gibran said flatly.
Gabriel looked. "Oh, okay."
"How many months?" It seemed Gabriel could not help his mouth to shut up.
Gibran who was almost closed now must be willing to open his eyes again. "Four and a half."
"Five months' walk?"
"Think?" Did Gabriel have to be that stupid?
"Oh." Then he chuckles. "It's funny. This topic is like the talk of two prospective fathers."
But a moment later Gabriel's face dimmed. "It's a pity that I don't have children now" she whispered with a sigh.
Gibran did not become cursing, he prefers to throw his face and lean comfortably with his eyes starting to close. His hands and feet were crossed as usual. In his heart he prayed that Mary would be well while he stayed.
The woman was careless. Gibran is always made unsettled every second.
