His Purpose

His Purpose
40. Fearfully

Jesi's body shook. A gripping aura emanates from within Gibran to produce an invisible gray cumulus around him.

The man pressed the object against Jesi's back. Accompanied by a sharp gash from his eyes, Gibran whispered beside his ear. "Originally you know. I've been trying to kill you for the past few days."

Jesi. His throat was suddenly difficult to swallow.

"I might be able to be ignorant when you spill tea and seduce me in the library. But I can't accept when you bully my wife and spread rumors that put her under pressure."

"Nobody's gonna hurt her, especially you fucking ja-lang."

Gibran's anger made Jesi hold her breath. Moreover, he clearly felt something was threatening him behind his back.

"You want to tease me?" Gibran grunting. "You think I'm gonna be tempted by this rotten body?"

"If I can enjoy salmon, why should I eat disgusting thorns like you?"

Gibran jerked Jesi's body until she took a few steps back. His body immediately shriveled staring anxiously at Gibran who was patting his kimono as if throwing dirt.

"out. Before I execute you right now" Gibran said, fiddling with a pistol he had no idea where. That thing that has made Jesi alert since.

Jesi believes one hundred percent of the man approached her empty-handed, without a gun let alone a gun. Somehow surely, know the firearm had threatened to take his back.

And now, the muzzle of the object is pointed right in front of Jesi's eyes. "out. And never dare to touch Mary even with your voice" he said sharply full of threats.

Gibran's unexpected attitude makes Jesi stiff-ketir. He retreated to run towards the door when Gibran's voice interrupted him. The man's eyes led to the floor, the place where Jesi's robe lay horribly.

"Take. I'm not gonna put that dirty thing in here."

Spontaneous Jesi bent down to pick up his robe, then quickly turned around without daring to look at Gibran.

"Ah, one more. Tell my in-laws to send a woman who's more seductive than her daughter. My taste is too high for a lowly servant like you."

Jesi sculpting. His feet seemed to be fixated on the spot hearing Gibran's shocking sentence. His heart was beating with fear. Supposedly, from the beginning he knew that Gibran was a creepy figure.

Without waiting for a long time Jesi came out of Gibran's room. However, it triggered another tension when he saw the figure of Maria standing at the end of the hallway.

All three were in a straight line of Gibran's bedroom door. Ironically, the position of Gibran who was pointing a gun at Jesi seemed wrong target once the woman went to escape. Now the gun is pointing at Maria.

Both are in their minds. However, the look of fear inevitably adorned Mary's netra which now began to tremble at Gibran.

Maria backed away with an extraordinary face of shock. His body staggered into the table until he dropped the urn on it. The woman turned to Gibran before then running towards her room on the second floor.

For a moment Gibran was silent. Slowly his hand went down, even his grip on the gun tightened as his facial line tightened.

His feet stepped wide to the end of the passageway, "MARTHAAA ...!!!"

Anger overshadowed the bloody Wiranata's face. Just as Gibran was exiting the corridor of his room, Martha's sighting of him standing down in front of the elevator drew his full attention.

At first glance Gibran glanced at the elevator door that had just closed, then back at Martha who had a pias face. The man's eyes drew sharp the butler.

"I'm sorry, sir. The madam ran out as I cleaned up the soap spill in the bathroom. Sorry for my negligence" said Martha, trying to remain calm.

Previously Maria accidentally spilled soap in the bathroom and asked Martha to clean it to get out of the room. But now he's sorry. He did not know how Martha was to stand before Gibran. The man seemed to be transformed into a monster that was ready to slaughter at any time.

Maria gulps. She wept as Martha sacrificed herself to encourage Mary to enter the elevator. Somehow the woman is now. Maria really felt guilty. His selfishness had brought a person in a situation of danger.

Geck, tok, tok.

The sound of knocking made him aghast. Maria retreated with slow steps, staring at the giant double-diameter door.

"Mrs, this is Martha. Can I come in?"

Her breathing was relieved, "Mother Martha?" mary whispered, opening the door.

Her warm maternal smile became the first she saw. Maria took a look from top to bottom of the middle-aged woman, making sure she was doing well.

Maria did not refuse as Martha led her deeper into the bed and sat her down on the side.

"A-are you okay?" ask Maria. His head looked up at Martha who was standing about 1 meter away from him.

Martha smiled, "Sure, Madam. You can confirm it yourself," he said subtly.

"But Koko ..."

Martha lowered her head, "You must be very surprised. Get some rest because it's getting late."

The woman turned to the other side of the bed to pick up the trolley from which Mary had eaten. Mary turned the body, watching it in silence. His eyes were filled with guilt.

Maria realized, what she was doing was so cruel. Waving off the frustration on Martha so as to make the woman exhausted to face her.

Many times Martha repeated the same work because of Mary's dissatisfaction.

"I'm .. sorry," said Maria.

Martha paused her work before returning to clean the empty dishes and arranging them neatly.

"You're not wrong. Why should I apologize?"

"Sa-I was wrong. I've kept you working for so long. You must be very tired. Please forgive me."

Martha smiled back, "Nobody is tired if we are sincere and understand the situation. I'm sincerely at your service. I also understand how you feel that you're in a bad state."

"And again, it's my job to make sure that you get the best service in this house."

"Please don't hesitate, Madam. If anything makes you uncomfortable, you shouldn't hesitate to report it to me."

"Including those servants who have been rude to you. You must dare to speak, or they will come face to face with Master. You know for yourself what's going to happen."

Maria sculpts. He knew what Martha meant. Because the next day Maria got word of the dismissal of a number of servants. Some of them are those who had gossiped in the kitchen, also who spread bad rumors about him.

Including Jesi. Maria was surprised. Besides the incident last night, Maria still wonders about the girl's relationship with Gibran.
