His Purpose

His Purpose
37. Maids

Mary poked one by one the pieces of fruit in a bowl, put them in her mouth, then chewed and swallowed them slowly. His activities were completely undisturbed, though the helicopter that would take Gibran out of town landed right in the courtyard not far from his room balcony.

Maria only occasionally glanced at the giant dragonfly without even once intending to approach him.

Before long Laura came and approached, "Mrs, you're about to leave, sir" he told me.

But Mary simply replied with a murmur. His crossed legs occasionally swayed leisurely. Of course his attitude was inviting wonder in Laura's mind.

"Mrs won't take you?"

Maria's reaction was unexpected. The woman rolled her eyes lazily as she said, "What to deliver? Should I lead him to the helicopter? He has his own feet. Surely very capable to just walk from house to yard."

Cuefully Mary ate the fruit regardless of Laura who was looking at her elaborately. Laura did not want to force and prefer to tidy up Maria's room, although occasionally her eyes glanced at the mistress who was relaxing on the balcony.

Unbeknownst to Maria, Gibran stared at her from behind the glass of the helicopter that was now taking off from the courtyard.

The more the day the rumors are circulating. The issue of a third person between Mary and Gibran is blowing all over the mansion. Maria noticed some eyes looking at her differently. Perhaps they secretly mocked him for not being able to conquer Gibran, and instead lost to a servant.

Maria tried to not care and thicken her ears and mental despite her good name being dropped. The name of the display wife is now attached without him asking.

"Cih, just a few days of work has dared to make trouble. Doesn't Madam want to lower the order on me to persecute or kill him?" Laura growled in annoyance.

Maria snorted, "I couldn't possibly have planned a murder with someone crying just because an unknown bird was lying dead under her feet."

Maria's sneer made Laura scowl. "That's a different case, ma'am. Please don't equate that cute bird with a cheap, sinful servant."

"You speak as if you have no sin" said Mary.

"Of course I have, but no bigger than that fucking ja-lang."

"Did you just curse?"

"I just found out a Laura can talk rudely" continued Maria. "Take this to the room."

Laura received a number of books that Maria submitted. He did not complain even though the weight was quite achy hands.

"Save it on the regular table, yeah."

"Good, Mistress. Where's the madam going?" laura asked with a squeak when she saw Maria move away into a corner.

"I remember yesterday seeing Majapahit stories around here. You go first."

Laura raised a mixed eyebrow in wonder and unexpected. "Well .. do you like history?"

"No. I'm only interested in the love story in it. Go quickly, your hands will hurt from taking too long to lift the book."

Laura smiled at me. Although sometimes ketus and seem arrogant, actually Maria is the type of person who is very considerate.

"I'll excuse you then, ma'am. I'll prepare a snack as well to accompany you in the room."

"Hem."

"Eh, wait!"

"Yes, Mistress?" Laura turned.

Mary seemed hesitant to ask. But then he nodded, "Not so. Go."

After Laura left, Maria continued her search. He read one book after another in quick succession. And the book in question he managed to find in just a few moments.

Just as he turned around, someone made a commotion behind him. Maria frowned. Instantly an unhappy look overshadowed her beautiful face when she knew who she had found.

Jesi, the waiter who was being talked about was sitting on the floor, picking up the scattered cleaning utensils. He repeatedly apologized to Maria for her carelessness, but she ignored him.

Suddenly Jesi said, "I'm sorry if the rumors that are circulating make you uncomfortable."

Maria stopped right at the doorway, turning her back to Jesi who was now back on her feet with her head lowered.

"I didn't mean to betray you. Ta-But ..."

Mary turned around, then approached in slow steps. He stopped right in front of Jesi, looking at the girl with a judging look.

"Did you just admit to your mistake?" ask Maria, flat.

Jesi lowered her head, "I'm sorry, ma'am," she said shaking. "I really didn't mean to. Tu-Master forced me—"

"Enough."

"I don't care what you do with my husband, nor everything that happens between you."

Jesi looked up, staring at Maria with tears.

"You want to get in touch with him? Go ahead. I will not forbid. That way it's all clear that our classes are different."

"You're certainly not my opponent. I can't possibly think of you as a temporary rival to our place as heaven and earth."

"Maybe that's how you hang your life. I can understand because you were born incapable. It was clearly different from me that the first one to open his eyes had already seen the palace. Luxury is nothing new to me."

"As long as you know, I don't need rich men to pay for my life, because my life is guaranteed to death. So, please continue your fight."

The corner of Mary's lips was raised cynically. He touched his fine fingers along Jesi's dull arm.

"Only a blind man is incapable of distinguishing coal and jewels" Mary murmured before her feet took a few steps back.

He turned around to get out of there. But the words of Jesi stopped him again. "Are you always that arrogant?"

"Don't be rich you can talk arbitrarily."

Maria turned around while folding her hands, "Why? Do you feel offended? Oh, I'm sorry. Are you going to complain to my husband after this? Oh my goodness .. I was so scared .." - Mary taunted in a contrived voice. After that, his face turned flat again.

While Jesi, the girl crinkled with clenched hands restraining emotions. His eyes glinted at Maria who was now in the doorway.

"Yes. Apologize without 'but'. Because with you throwing up excuses it shows that you're not sincere about it."

Maria swayed gracefully with her chin raised. Leaving Jesi and all her anger at Maria. I don't know what the girl was doing. Mary will not remain silent.

But, in fact, this was a gap for Mary to press Gibran.

Maria smiled curiously. Suddenly he came up with a very good idea to bully the man.

"Laura, come with me!" Maria exclaimed as she just got out of the elevator. It just so happened that Laura was also passing in front of him.

Of course the obedient girl immediately followed him.

Maria immediately searched for a cell phone as soon as she reached the room. He fiddled with her and invited Laura to sit on the sofa. Laura just stared in silence, I don't know what her employer was doing until it was that serious.

Until a while later Maria hands her phone to Laura, "Message this for me. I don't know the address of this house, so you just fill everything as completely as possible."

Laura was silent. His eyes were open with his mouth wide open. "Mrs-Mrs, are you kidding?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

"Quick do. It's about my life and death!"
