Valencia entered the balcony hall where the event was held. His head turned to and fro looking for someone. Then his steps approached when he found a man standing at the end of the corridor.
His eyes stared at the night sky. Both of his hands slid into his pants pocket. What an amazing portrait for Valencia to see the lover posing like that. He secretly pulled out his cell phone and took it.
The man turned his head when he heard the camera shots. Valencia smiled down his phone, then walked closer.
"Old?" He hugged the man's arm and struggled there. "I'm sorry, I just met a friend."
"Friends?" asked the man in wonder.
Valencia nodded, "Hem. You could say we just met. But I like it. He looks friendly."
The man nodded, then looked at the clock that was coiled around his wrist. "Then we go home now. I haven't prepared to go to Dubai yet. You should also rest."
"Yes yes. I must have rested, really," Valencia murmured a lip.
The man smiled faintly, rubbing Valencia's hair slowly. "Come on."
"Hm." Valencia's raut still looks upset. However, he still followed the steps of the lover to go from there.
While elsewhere, Maria desperately behaves normally after the shocking actions of Gibran. Don't ask what his face is like. It must be redder than a boiled crab.
Maria wondered why Gibran had suddenly behaved this way. In front of his colleagues. Is Gibran intending to do the same imaging as he did to Mr Shimamura the other day?
If true. So from this moment on Mary must prepare to thicken her heart so as not to dissolve in the cumulus uncertainty of Gibran's attitude.
It was just a small act. But the effect is capable of destroying the defense of any woman's heart.
Maria took a breath. He stared at the reflection of his face in the mirror of the sink in the toilet. Unable to bear the embarrassment that undermined her, Maria decided to step aside for a moment from Gibran's reach.
He washed his hands and dried them with a tissue. Then opened the coin purse he carried, took out lipstick for later he applied on the lips.
Tonight Maria appears flawless with natural makeup that makes her look classy with prominent eye decoration. This is the first time he has used MUA services outside Indonesia.
Usually, if there are certain activities or events abroad Maria always relies on her own makeup skills. Never once did he hire makeup services in the country of people.
Aside from being lazy to look, he himself believed one hundred percent in his self-decorating ability.
"Basic. That means Koko doesn't trust me. Though I can dress up much more shaky than this" snorted Maria, putting her lipstick back in the bag.
"Why didn't he bring Laura? He should have known I wasn't comfortable being served by strangers here." Maria didn't stop grumbling when she came out of the toilet.
"No one massages my feet when it hurts."
"Nobody accompanied me to the drama."
"Nobody serves me as well as Laura here. Damn I just realized that."
Being away from Laura made Maria feel a significant difference. If he would normally gossip in his spare time, now he could only remain silent in the room.
His heart reflexively beat rapidly when he realized that the figure looked familiar. Maria was sure she recognized the posture. His back, the way it went, were all exactly the same as the memories inherent in his brain.
For a moment Maria felt herself dazed. Slowly his feet moved swinging after the figure. But he lost track at the intersection. There are about 3 elevators there, and two of them are operating to transport hotel visitors. Maria didn't know which man was riding in the elevator.
One leads up, the other leads downstairs. Maria concluded the man headed downstairs. Mary therefore intended to follow him there.
But his intention must be hindered when suddenly Nick comes running from behind. The Gibran confidant called out to him. Maria turned her head, and found Nick's tense look standing before her.
Maria's forehead wrinkled, "What's wrong? Why are you running around like that?"
With chasing breath Nick replied, "Tu-Tuan. Sir, Madam!"
Mary's frown deepened, "Pacify yourself and speak clearly. What's wrong with Koko?"
Nick according. He tried to neutralize his breath that was boring due to running. "The lady should come with me right now. Someone has shot the Master inside!"
Maria pecked, "W-What?" whispered stammering.
Mary no longer knew what she was thinking. The curiosity that had been haunting him vanished out of nowhere, replaced by a spontaneous panic that led him to run into the ballroom, leaving the elevator that was now stopped on the ground floor.
Looks like Nick didn't lie. The atmosphere inside was so noisy that he had trouble finding Gibran among the many seas of people.
Luckily, Nick quickly caught up with him. Quickly the man split the crowd, then asked Maria to follow him immediately.
Trouble Maria lifted her long dress to widen the pace. Several times he had stumbled because of colliding with a number of people. But he did not care, what was on his mind now was Gibran's state.
Maria did not understand why she had to be this hot on Gibran's condition. Perhaps because of the high humanity caused by her guilt for Gibran, Maria became as sensitive and fearful as she is now.
Is correct. This is natural because Gibran is her husband. It is not unusual for a wife to worry about her husband.
Nick took her to one side of the room, near a window that led to a ballroom walkway. There he found Gibran. The man sat down on a table that had previously been a buffer of the removed urn.
With a crowd of many people the man tried to hold the ringing. His face was still expressionless. It's just that his lips and jaw are tightly clenched.
Kontan Maria came closer. Apparently this managed to attract Gibran's attention to him.
"Shop! What the hell's going on? I-This why? No, how did this happen?" ask Maria streak. Panic adorned his face which was now as pale as cotton.
Instead of answering, Gibran looked at Maria with a hard-to-read look. Maria did not realize that because she was busy researching the state of Gibran which she thought was very serious.
Moments later Gibran said, "This is nothing."
"It's nothing! Your sweat is as big as corn!" Deny Mary fast. "You may speak in these circumstances."
"What are you guys doing? Why just shut up? Quickly get him to the hospital!" mary cried a little hysterically because Nick and some of his men were busy talking to anyone through handsfree. Who do they want to report? His boss was seriously injured here.
