Chapter 16: The Fastening Chain

Just as the woman opened her eyes a sword blade sliced through her cheek before piercing through the tree trunk that was on her back as a backrest.

Blood droplets flowed down his face while the woman who did so grinned.

"Yo black dragon, you've come to your senses."

"Elizabeth nyeremin" cried Marisa.

"W-what do you want from me?"

"Easy, tell me how I can kill your race."

The woman shivered. He was clearly impossible to do so, it was tantamount to telling how one would kill him even worse than that, the person he knew would obviously be slaughtered and branded as a traitor.

The black dragon woman realized that around her neck was a necklace that was joined to a chain whose end was held by Elizabeth.

"This?"

"This chain cannot be destroyed without my consent, from now on you will be my pet."

"No, I have to go home. Why can't I turn into a dragon."

"This chain-link has the ability to seal someone's mana, in other words you need where to turn yourself back, interesting."

"Elizabeth's overrated, Glacies rejected her too."

"As long as he doesn't tell me about how to kill a dragon, I won't let him go."

The dragon woman wept afterwards, even when she was dragged on the ground Elizabeth showed no mercy at all.

"Are we going to take him back to town?"

Elizabeth only looked at him with a troubled look, she did not even intend to let go of her chain necklace.

Glacies landed on Elizabeth's head and ate the meat thrown at her. Although still a baby Glacies seems to want to try to understand what they are talking about.

"I don't know either, I suddenly woke up in town and they attacked me."

Elizabeth can't identify who the real person is? But he clearly knew that the dragon in front of him was not lying.

Elizabeth took her own place and laid herself on a pedestal made from the leaves she had stacked.

At midnight Marisa found Kanade sitting while playing with the coals in her hand, she was burning some sweet potatoes while daydreaming.

Marisa sat down next to him and said.

"Don't take Elizabeth's word, she's rude but she's a good person."

"I'm just a little angry that he cut off my horn."

"Will it grow?"
