How to Kill a Dragon

How to Kill a Dragon
Chapter 43: Forest Border

In a row of towering trees the Raider army began to spread out, they used the forest area as a battleground allowing them to slip easily.

Before an army of 10,000 appeared, Raider and his troops had prepared various traps that were used as the first attack involving ropes, holes, and bamboo.

Only into time that they will die alone.

The raider swung and landed on a tree branch while watching the surroundings.

"Commander, we're ready at any time."

"All right, kill everything."

"Okay."

Raider attacked from above, he slashed at a few people before eyeing his leader who was the man with the spear.

His slash could be restrained, and the two of them stared at each other.

"Traitor of Wisteria, Raider."

"Servan, it turns out you're leading this army."

"Well, ever since you left my kingdom it's been the leader of all."

"so."

"I think it's a good chance to know why you left the kingdom."

"Things like that don't need to be asked anymore."

With a swirling motion in the air Raider sent out a rotating slash, Servan used his spear which clashed against each other in the air.

The slash entered horizontally and Servan parried it to the side, before giving a puncture that could be avoided by jumping backwards.

"The Wisteria King was just a piece of trash who collected women in his hands, he killed my father just wanted to get my mother, but my mother preferred to end her life and I've been alone ever since, if I knew this, I wouldn't be in the military."

"It's not like your father lost the war."

"That's what he's made up, he's said he wants to help people who have lost their husbands by embracing them as family by marrying his wife, but to be honest he's a rotten man, he told someone to kill my father who won the war."

"So whatever it is I don't care as long as I can live in luxury I'll follow anyone."

"I knew you'd say that that's why I told you, we're gonna kill each other in this place."

Servan smirked happily.

He is a man who thirsts for money and is able to do anything for his purpose.

A spear pointed forward, Raider prefers to fight on land to defeat the enemy in front of him.

"You didn't use your weird tools."

"This is enough."

Trang, Trang, Trang.

They continue to sell attacks, scratches appear on Raider's face and vice versa.

Whose sword and spear will take victory in this place. The tip of the spear was enveloped by lightning which gushed out destroying its surroundings with an explosion.

"The Nightning Spear."

The spear shot a bolt of lightning towards Raider making him flung while spouting blood from his mouth.

"This is just your strength. I heard that since you can't use magic you're said to be an expert in fighting, but I'm disappointed."

Around the forest burning even so Raider looked smiling.

"Why have you gone mad with your defeat."

"No, you don't know about this area yet."

"What do you mean?"

"You better watch how my troops fight."

After Raider said it, Servan finally realized it.

"You're trying not to destroy the forest."

"To be precise, this is basically the forest spirit region, if someone were to damage it then they would be considered as enemies."

Coinciding by that time a plant root had penetrated Servan's body, not only did he have his entire army also experienced the same thing.

"Impossible, how did we lose in this way? I've never heard of this region either."

"It's only natural because the kingdom has always hidden it."

"Aaaargh."

The other roots pierced through his body until blood spurted into the air.
