Chapter 52: Fighting the Earth Dragon

In the instant that the earth dragon in human form had passed through Elizabeth's existence, she appeared right in front of Noel's face which showed seriousness.

"What's? My punch can be avoided."

Like what he said, Noel was able to do well.

"You better not underestimate humans."

Noel drew his sword but his hand was pressed down by the earth dragon, before being thrown aside.

The earth dragon who realized Elizabeth had been behind him precisely caught the tip of his sword.

"If you're going to attack secretly you'd better hide your intention to kill you."

"No, I will kill you with an aura like this."

Soon perhaps the earth dragon released the sword in his hand inevitably now his hand was frozen.

"You're a dragon too?"

"Outside of the dragon but inside I'm still human, Ice Blade."

"Wall."

Elizabeth's slash of ice was held in place with earth armor, making use of the two Noel rising up while unsheathing his sword, it created a spark as it held the hand of the earth dragon that was covered in scales.

"If I'm human, I still have the power of dragons."

"Guakhs."

He gripped Noel's face before he could escape and threw it towards the chunks of ice Elizabeth made to shatter into pieces.

"Whatever you try, man is still man cannot defeat a dragon, but I will give you the honor of making you my food."

"You think I want to be eaten by you ugly dragon."

"I don't need to hear your approval."

Elizabeth and Noel stood next to each other before running off together. They attacked the earth dragon alternately from left to right or vice versa.

The movements of the earth dragons grew faster as they continued to attack.

Noel activated his grimore making his sword flow lightning, it hit his shoulder and produced a slight scratch.

Elizabeth attacks from the opponent's back, slashing him until blood flows to his wrist as he keeps his distance.

"If it's another dragon, just now my slash can clearly cut it."

"That's because he's been eating humans who are filled with mana energy because that's why every energy is now in his body" said Leviathan.

"So the power he used was not just dragon magic."

Noel held the sword with both hands and continued.

"You underestimated man but using his power, it's pathetic."

The earth dragon opened its mouth to create a fireball from its mouth, although not including its element the dragon could still use its breath.

The ground ensnared Elizabeth and Noel in order to avoid moving, both of whom were hit by the attack, creating an explosion of fire into the air.

Both of them were still standing with the protective magic circle Noel had made, simultaneously the snow falling from the sky made the entire land that ensnared them both freeze and shatter.

"That's almost."

"Why, why are you still alive?"

"I'm telling you our magic was used to kill dragons so you're not a threat."

"Damn."

Elizabeth and Noel darted forward, first Noel used magic to strengthen himself as strongly as possible, his sword was held back by the earth dragon even so now his hand had been cut off.

"What?"

The earth dragon retreated then gave a kick making Noel spit out blood before being sent far back, now it was Elizabeth's turn, she enveloped herself with a cold chill giving a quick slash, both of them giving each other an attack some time, the hand of the earth dragon pierced through Elizabeth's body as well as her sword which pierced through the body of the earth dragon.

"Compared to me, you're crazier. You intentionally hurt yourself just to get a stab in my heart."

"Anything to kill a dragon like you," replied Elizabeth coldly.

The body of the earth dragon started to freeze and instantly shattered into pieces.
