Chapter 27: Leaving the Island

After the other adventurers got their crystals, it was Elizabeth's turn to move. There was no rule of their number to take even so just in case they would take as much as they could.

Carberus began to snort and in an instant the ice belonging to Elizabeth froze him at the limit he could still live within minutes.

Noel, Marisa and Shina quickly bagged the crystal before running away, just as Elizabeth melted her magic, her huge jaw was about to catch it.

"You're being stubborn."

In the instant the ice appeared inside her mouth, Elizabeth jumped parallel to her face, with a single kick in her face that made Carberus slide into the cliff unconscious.

"Elizabeth is so powerful, what kind of power does she use?" noel asked Marisa.

"The power to kill a dragon."

"That must be awesome."

"Let's hurry."

"Good."

Just as they were returning a group of people had confronted them, some were seen to have been dropped through magic and swords.

"Haha I think there's more we can take away."

"Cih, so instead of taking it yourself you'd rather snatch it from another adventurer."

"It's a strategy, instead of getting into dangerous territory we'd rather take advantage of it like this."

"Don't worry we're in no mood to commit a crime other than to rob, all we want is to give the crystal and it's all done."

If they give it away it will take time and they will obviously be late to get back to the boat.

"Why have you come this far?"

"Of course for the sake of ranking, if we can become S rank adventurers, then we will get a reward from the guild and after that have a standing in the city. If we go on a mission we can say that it's too hard to do."

Noel clenched his teeth with emotion.

"Because of this attitude many people die, I'm sure you continue to cheat until now. When everyone needs strong adventurers you don't come, until many lives are killed by dragons."

"We all don't care about it."

"Low ground," Shina shouted.

"Owh you loli girl, interesting.I changed my mind let that girl stay, we'll all sleep with her."

"Geez I'll be harassed, if this much I'll be satisfied."

"I'm just saying dramatic effect."

Elizabeth sighed softly.

"You were all the same as the adventurers of that time. That's right, I heard that the dead here won't be investigating."

"What do you want to say?"

"I've killed a lot of Rank A adventurers before, I don't think it's a problem to kill again."

"Impossible, could it be you?"

Before the leader finished his words blood spurted from his body, Elizabeth's sword seemed to glow slightly and her face showed pleasure.

"If you think so, go ahead."

Marisa and Shina were chatting at each other in the back.

"Somehow Elizabeth's street is always full of carnage."

"I also agree, let them be wrong anyway."

Noel only looked on with fear as Elizabeth killed them mercilessly. He began to think about what Marisa had said.

It is worth the name.

They returned to the beach with a few people who had been rescued, a boat appeared and a rope was thrown at everyone in order to get on top of it.

All the crew were astonished.

"That survived only a little."

"Most monsters," replied Shina.

"That's understandable, the more years the monsters here get stronger."

The fact that more people were killed Elizabeth would only be a secret to everyone.
