Chapter 18: Turning into a Dragon

Elizabeth and Marisa have a quiet and comfortable night for them to sleep, the next morning both face Virsa to answer her questions.

"I'll turn into a dragon, no matter what happens I have to kill that dragon."

"I understand, so come with me, how about you Kanade?"

"I don't want to deal anymore with humans or any other commotion, I think I'm going to seclude myself on the southern island."

"I understand, take care of yourself. I will visit you occasionally."

"Yes." Yeah."

They could only see how a black dragon was flying through the sky.

In a frozen lake Virsa gives Elizabet a small crystal.

"This is the dragon core, once this core enters your body then it will develop according to your body and over time it will become your strength."

Elizabeth glanced at Marisa who was far away watching alongside the Glacies.

"Did you hesitate to turn into a dragon?"

"Turning into a dragon doesn't mean I'm losing my life."

Without hesitation Elizabeth ate it, in an instant the heat radiated to her body then changed with pain that made her have difficulty breathing and falling down.

Marisa tries to get closer but is confronted by Virsa.

"Don't come any closer, he'll turn into a dragon most likely he'll lose consciousness until he can control himself."

"How long will he be like that?"

"One more year there's still a chance he'll lose himself forever and I'll have to kill him."

"What's? Why didn't you tell me first?" marisa's protest demands an explanation.

"I told him already."

"Impossible, he asked to hide it to me."

"What the fuck, this is bad... His strength was so powerful that it even felt like he was on par with a grand dragon."

"Had he lost consciousness."

Both are aware that Elizabeth will attack him but the unexpected has happened like a miracle, Elizabeth is back to being human and she lies in her shape at all times without damaging her clothes in the slightest.

Virsa lost her words.

"His dress was not so badly damaged even though she turned into a dragon, was this dress the same level as the clothes I wore."

"What did you say? More than that is Elizabeth okay?"

"More than a good word, he succeeded without going through a year of training. He suppressed his dragon power then took over with his own power, what I was trying to say was that he was truly a monster."

Silence felt between them. For Marisa it was not something strange, when she became a human she was already too strong even among adventurers. Elizabeth was also able to kill A rank adventurers with undeniable ease it was applicable to S rank as well.

This might be an era where the world will change and the dragons will no longer attack humanity.

As already known there are dragons that really want to damage mankind and there are dragons too that are only controlled by someone.

Marisa decides to take Elizabeth into the cave, after three days have passed she finally opens her eyes.

"Are you awake?" that said it was Virsa who stood in front of the cave looking towards the back where Elizabeth appeared and stood beside her.

"Marisa?"

"She went to find food with my daughter, hmmm. I was a little jealous of her but what could be made and Glacies a name that was not fitting for her so I wanted to try changing her name."

Elizabeth did not care about it and continued.

"What about my training?"

"I don't think it's necessary anymore, congratulations.you're already a dragon."

Elizabeth examined her body to make sure that horns and tails appeared on her body but there was nothing there.
