Chapter 60: Towards the Blue Ocean

They had finally reached the port where from here they had to rent a boat to sail.

For their horse-drawn carriage, they could leave it at the shelter for 5 gold coins as a down payment and from there they would have to pay the rest how long they had been away.

Noel again looked at his previously broken hand.

"My hands are completely healed."

"Sacred magic Elsa is more powerful than anyone else, she can connect the severed hands as well" Shina said, pointing out the difference in strength away from her.

Whatever it was everyone was grateful that they could recover at any time, fighting a top-tier demon made them understand how powerful they were.

They met a man who wanted to rent out his boat to go to the Blue Ocean. Elizabeth thought it would be better if the name was called Ocean Blue but it was a name that had been decided for a long time.

"Yo, you guys are here, want a beer?"

Except for Noel and Elizabeth the rest drank it at the same table as the pirate-looking man named Jack.

It's a bar full of suspicious men and sexy waiters.

"I did rent out a boat to you guys but you know that it's a dangerous place to come."

"So what are the requirements?" Elizabeth asked right at the point.

"I heard there are a lot of ships that have sunk, I want you to help me too."

"If so we don't have to pay for the rent."

"Of course, even I don't mind sharing it with you guys a bit. I'm sure the person who went to the Blue Ocean isn't a random person, and I'm sure you can also defeat the sea monsters."

It's obviously a deal they can't refuse, the fact that no one wants to go there is also bad maybe from the owner of the ship Jack who wants to do it even though he also has his own reasons.

Elizabeth and Jack agreed to shake hands with each other and they would leave the next morning.

"All of you quickly spread the screen and are ready to go."

"Okay."

Elizabeth leaned back as she turned her gaze forward, the scent of the sea blowing around her as the seagulls flying next to her.

Marisa, Shina, and Noel seemed to enjoy it as well by doing things like stretching out their hands in front of the ship.

Elizabeth had heard the whole thing about this journey and it wasn't easy, especially when it came to dealing with a creature called the Kraken, The Kraken is a giant octopus that enjoys sinking ships and the proceeds that Jack and his crew will take. In short, Elizabeth's group is asked to defeat the creature.

"Quite troublesome," Elizabeth murmured thus, for the small monsters the cannons were enough to clear it.

They enjoyed supplies and slept comfortably, three days and two nights before they finally reached their destination.

The wind was blowing faster and a whirlpool seemed to appear suddenly, Jack grinned while arranging to keep the ship from being sucked into it.

"He's coming, everybody get ready."

The vortex stopped and in an instant eight tentacles burst out of the water and surrounded the ship from all directions. The crew began to injure him including Elizabeth's group.

"Inferno."

The fire from Marisa's magic burns her but in return a great shock ensues.

"Damn it, he's gonna smash this ship, '" cried Jack.

Elizabeth decided to jump into the sea.

"Oi what are you doing?" yell back Jack.

"Just relax Elizabeth knows what she wants to do" Shina said.
